The room was fabulous. Staff very nice.
Location was good.
My partner is a key worker and he's been working all over the country during this pandemic. He was working near Stratford on Saturday 16th may and was so tired when he finished that I decided to drive over to him and get us a room for the night so he could relax. We was met by staff that was very confused we was there and told us we hadn't paid for our booking (which we had) demand to see his key worker letter and then finally gave us the key. Room was very basic with only 1 cup and 1 glass and only 1 set of towels! Wardrobe looked like it hadn't been dusted for over a year and the headboard had head stains on which proved how old it was. The following morning we had a staff member knock on the door saying we had to leave (we was not told a time to check out when we checked in and since there didn't seem to be anyone else in the hotel we thought this was rather unnecessary) he was very rude and asked if we was working and demanded to see our letter yet again!!!!! My partner stays in hotels all over the country and has never experienced such rudeness and unprofessionalism. All in all it was a very poor stay!
Excellent location tho' I do think their car parking charges are too high, I parked on the road and transferred to a free park area before breakfast. The room though a tad shabby was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff welcoming. Yes I will stay here again.

Cute door to your room. Quaint place to stay and a great location. You can get good overnight parking in the car park down the road church street (£10 per 24hours)
Walls were a little thin but expected in an old building like this.
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, very comfortable and a great location for all that Stratford-upon-Avon has to offer.
No reply to email prior to arrival. Large amounts of dust throughout the room and ensuite. States that there is bottled water in the room, there wasn't. Also the minibar was empty. As we only stayed for 1 night it wasn't worth complaining... not that we could have as when we went to the restaurant for our dinner the reception was unattended.
