Very good and varied choice of breakfast, dinner also good and varied choice and food itself was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. they even offered help carrying bags up steps to the train station.
Didn't like step at top of direct flight down to room 22, covering goes right to edge and misplaced foot over edge a couple of times. Nothing else at all to not like.
Location, stunning views across the water.
Rooms were pretty small
Wonderful location with inspiring sea views. The hotel was only a sort walk from the centre of St Ives, so extremely convenient for the galleries and shops. It is the sort of venue that refreshes your spirits.
The only thing that is a little off-putting is the number stairs in the establishment which is a little daunting at the present time due to a knee injury. The bed was comfortable - the only snag was that it was pushed too close to the wall on one side.
The views were absolutely amazing. The room itself was noisy and the bed was very small we wasn’t able to sleep much. Very clean and fantastic staff. Just a shame we didn’t sleep much due to noise from next door and the bed being so small.
Noise from the room next door. Bed was to small.
The breakfast was fantastic. Superb location, beautiful sea views. Staff members were all exceptionally hospitable and friendly (especially refreshing welcome after my tiresome train journey from Belgium). Perhaps it was the christmas spirit, but i think they are like this all year long. Fantastic and very hard working team. They deserve kudos...each and every one of them.
Nothing (thé weather perhaps)
