The friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to be of assistance.
It is hard to find anything unsatisfactory, our room was cold (because of the exceptional weather) but this was quickly rectified by our radiator being adjusted and two extra heaters supplied.
Location, views and homely atmosphere
Only real "complaint" was the shower was very cramped.
The views out of the bedroom and public areas are superb. The bedroom, and hotel for that matter, was very well decorated and comfortable. It is very conveniently placed for the railway and bus stations.
The location - sea views
Room was too small
Excellent location, nice view of the beach and sea from the room, nicely decorated rooms, good breakfast, parking at 6 pounds a day right next to the hotel. Totally recommend it. And it's cheap.
Rooms are quite small and because they are very well isolated (the beach is right outside), we ran out of oxygen during the night and had to open a window. So we recommend airing the room right before you tuck in.
The sea view, how friendly the staff were.
The sea view
Extremely good value having booked via internet and got a late booking. Hotel well located. Has probably the best view of any hotel we have stayed at. Accomodation- room small but very comfortable, well equipt and clean. Staff very friendly.Breakfast was of a very high quality. Stayed on b&b basis so cannot rate evening meals.
Access to hotel from car park could be difficult for the less able, but this is a small price to pay for the beautiful location.
The food was outstanding, the staff were very attentive and the view from the room was incredible. The cleaniness of the room apart from the mildew was excellent.
There was mildew on the bottom of the shower screen and on the edge of the bath sealant in the room and the choice of channels on the tv was poor.
Location as beautiful as advertised and very convenient. Room good, lovely view.
Staff seemed a bit off-hand. Disappointed by food.
