Cons: We were delayed by almost two hours
Pros: I did not like one thing about this flight
Cons: The flight was canceled just minutes before we all should have been boarding. due to "mechanical issues". 100s of passengers then lined up to get reissued tickets o to other flight out. after being in line for 45 minute's we were told the original flight was reinstated. We were then told we did nit need new boarding passes. After waiting to lineup to board, we were told we DID NEED NEW BOARDING PASSES!! Another lube, another wait, I was reissued new tickets... but my original. tickets were ripped before i could ask for them back because my baggage claim tickets were adhered onto the back of those tickets!! Flight was mediocre at best. I had to literally run like mad to get from Gate B to my connecting flight and they were calling my name over the loud speaker at the C gate . The last leg oc the trip was crowded and the air-conditioning worked most of the time but not all of the time, so there were some extremely hot parts to my 3+ hour flight. I am contacting Southwest to get reimbursed for this nightmare of an experience. and will not fly with this airline again, unless they step up and make upgraded modifications to their operational systems,
Cons: 4.5 hour delay
Cons: Better explanation for 2 he delay
Pros: The crew always makes me laugh.
Cons: The morning is way too slow with Southwest if he need to start yelling at people if you're not going to get up and get your as long as you get off the plane and sit your ass down
Cons: Managed the delays better. Knowing there was thunderstorms passing shouldn't have boarded already. It was claustrophobic being a full plane and waiting forever to leave
Pros: Comfortable plane and on time departure
Cons: Less friendly staff than usual, delay at arrival gate, delay with luggage
Pros: There seem to be more space than usual. Which is a good thing!
Cons: More snack options
Pros: Easy boarding even with full flight
Cons: Crew did not bring around any drinks even water.
Pros: Getting home safe
Cons: Everything was Chaotic
Pros: Getting home safe
Cons: Everything it was chaotic
Pros: I love the newer Boeing 737’s. The seats seem to be a tiny bit bigger and comfortable than the older ones.
Cons: The crew was okay, one in particular was very rude. When I got in to SA my bag was torn and the super at the luggage station made it seem like I was lying when I asked what happened back there because my bag was not torn when I left. They are legit HOLES. You could see my stuff inside my duffle.
Pros: Everything went smooth while traveling with two children and two grandparents.
Cons: They waited until we boarded the plane and then told us we were delayed due to weather.
Pros: Poor management of cancelled flights due to weather. Other airlines did not cancel flights at the same airport.
Pros: Liked nothing about this flight. Oakland to Reno flight was late the 4th week in a row. One and a half hour delay because of some computer download issue in the cockpit. We got pacified with multiple we’re ready in 15min excuses.
Cons: SWA needs to get their Act together. It used to be a really good airline in terms of costumer service and on time record. They really gotten worse and frankly I don’t think they care about their customers any more
Pros: The crew was amazing!
Pros: Crew was amazing and entertaining
Cons: Nothing really it was a short flight.
Cons: Wish there was a compartment to charge my phone
Pros: Amazing crew, but the seating was just a little too tight.
Cons: I had some trouble connecting to the in-flight WiFi.
Pros: The crew and the seating on the MAX plane were excellent.
Cons: The Flight was delayed both taking off and once we landed just spent too much time waiting.
Pros: Flight was quick, got in on time, neither airport were super busy
Cons: Charging ports at seats would be nice but not necessary.
Pros: Seat spacing is comfortable
Cons: More movies
Pros: Amazing crew!
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Pros: Smooth process throughout the process
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Pros: The crew was nice and the snack appreciated
Cons: There was no air conditioning so the plane was really hot. The flight attendants also did not enforce mask compliance.
Pros: Awesome, personable crew! We had the same crew from Memphis. All of them were so friendly and Jenny was smokin hot....sorry, couldn’t resist 😇
Cons: Great crew.....very personable
Cons: Crew was late. Delayed flight big time
Pros: Departed late, made up the time, arrived early. Cabin crew extremely professional
Pros: Smooth through all steps
Marketing itself as a low-cost airline, Southwest Airlines operates predominantly domestic flights within the United States. The airline flies to 41 of the country’s 50 states. Flying to a further 10 countries, there is a focus on Caribbean destinations such as Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Aruba and The Bahamas.
All flights are scheduled using a point-to-point system, which is decentralized and relies loosely on the airline’s hubs. In comparison to the hub and spoke system commonly used by major airlines, Southwest Airlines reduces the likelihood of baggage loss and fuel consumption per passenger. With less connections and travel time, you can get to your destination faster.
Unlike most other American airlines, you are allowed 2 checked bags for free with every ticket purchased. Another customer benefit is that there is no change of flight fees, meaning you only need to pay the difference of the cost of the tickets. If you switch to a cheaper flight, a credit is provided for future use.
Videos of Southwest Airlines’ safety announcements have gone viral, with the cabin crew regularly mixing in tasteful humor. As they engage the passengers and build a warm atmosphere, make sure you take your headphones out and listen in. Specific seats are not allocated and customers are free to choose their own seat. Complimentary app messaging is provided so that passengers can use WhatsApp and iMessage during the flight.
The fleet is made up exclusively of Boeing aircraft and has used the 737 family series since 1971. A bold livery featuring a dark blue body and orange and red stripes has become the customary design.
