Could have been better
The front desk staff was friendly. They spoke every time they saw us. I liked the fact that the room had all the comforts of home (full size icebox, dishwasher, central air and heat, ceiling fan in the bedroom, DVD player, cable, and stove).
My room was kind of dirty. There was hair left in the shower and dresser drawers. Other guest belongings were left in our room on the floor behind the bedroom door which leads me to believe they had not vacuumed in my room. The pillows were so flat I had to use three to make one comfortable pillow. I paid $130 a night for 7 days and this stay was unacceptable. Lastly upon checking out the housekeeper knocked on the door and told me you know check out iis at 11 as if I did not know that. By this time it was literally only 11:01 and my partner and I were just about to walk out our room. Her attitude was also unacceptable. It's not like she was going to clean much anyway.
Clean and well maintained place with comfortable bedding. Good breakfast (but no bananas, really?) and friendly staff.
Welcome home dinner hour of 5-7 PM is too early and short. We missed it by 25 min. This was one of key benefits for our choice, and we had to go out for dinner @ Olive Garden near by. :-( Now who comes home at 5, really? The closing hour should be 8, or 7:30 at least like Drury, which is one of your key/main competitor. At a minimum, the hours need to be clearly posted online like D does. Also TV placement of King Studio room is a joke. The only angle to watch is from a table across @ 5 ft at most. I had to lift and turn the dresser that it was affixed to watch MNF. :-( Now that's two strikes. If 3, you are OUT from my consideration. P.S. road way to the hotel, esp. exit to US-11 was Right turn only with no U-turn near by. So, we had to turn into the mall parking lot and came back out safely. Good that there were light traffic at the time, but I wonder how one copes in heavier traffic. Look OUT!!
