Cons: The price showed in Kayak was $15.00 for the 2 days I booked. The end price was almost $90.00. I expected some increase because of full insurance coverage (which is optional) but the price difference was huge - I expect to see a final price, with mandatory fees and taxes, so I can compare the companies. Besides this, based on the invoice, the initial price was almost $22.00, also way higher than the one showed in Kayak. The car had a very bad small every time I started it. I am very disappointed. It was not the first time I used Kayak at all and I never had an experience like this one.

Cons: We reserved an intermediate car for “$11 dollars a day.” The agent advised us to cancel the reservation we made through kayak and book another one straight with Sixth and he could get us a better rate. In the end we paid over $40 per day, didn’t get anything close to the car we requested, had a major problem with the Alarm. Terrible experience.

Cons: There was a severe misunderstanding about the code to start the car, which was due to our lack of Hebrew and their lack of English. Make sure that you understand the code.

Scam, 17 dollars insurance mandatory per day without refund

Cons: I payed 16 dollars in kayak for two days of rental in shlomo. When I got to pickup the car, they said I have to buy their insurance policy, and it will be 17 dollars per day. Next they said opel corsa, the model I ordered, isn't available. For me it is extremely important to have telescopic wheel because I'm 1.9m tall. They didn't know which models have it that they could offer, so thwy aent me going to the parking lot and check for my self. The guy who showed me the cars asked for their numbers while I was talking about models, and he kept telling "ask the office". After an hour of looking and running around, and waiting I just wanted to give up. But they said no refund. And they didn't want to give a model that physically possible to fit my needs without extra payment. I checked the contact of shlomo sixt and othe companies in kayak and all have this written in sub section with many conditions, and it never says how much exactly the insurance will cost. Don't rent cars with kayak anf pray to the gods you will find the car you adked for in shlomo Sixt.

Cons: I rented a car through Kayak for $8 per day! I ended up paying close to $40(!!!) per day, after I called the company to verify that this is indeed the price before I came to pick up the car, and I was told explicitly that it is $8 with NO surprises. It turned out as a outrageous lie. I could not do anything at this stag as I needed the car and had no time to go to another agency. I got a car with 60,000 KM, not a good condition at all! unbelievable!!

The car was embarrassing

Cons: The car they gave me was an old work car, filthy and broken. I couldn't even adjust the side mirror. It was completely broken.
