Cons: They did not have my car “because my flight was delayed” got a much smalller car and they offered no refund until I complained on social media. Upon return tried to ding me for a problem with tire. The person on desk day I arrived was rude and tried to upsell me
The first address if you search for this location in Bing is wrong!
Cons: I had difficulty finding both the pickup location in St. Pancras, London and the dropoff location in Edinburgh. I had to walk around and ask in several buildings before I found the St. Pancras office. Then, when I used Bing to find the address of the Sixt office in Edinburgh, the first address than came up was incorrect. It was many miles from the correct location. The folks at another car rental office were good enough to direct me to the correct address.
Pros: Returning the vehicle was quick and simple.
Cons: Given different size vehicle than was shown. Being charged more than double the original amount to get correct size vehicle and zero customer service from both Kayak and Sixt. Vehicle was received filthy with wrappers, chewed fingernail clippings, and dirt everywhere making it impossible to verify any current damage prior to assuming responsibility for vehicle. Disgusting experience that I don't intend to repeat with either company.
2 hour wait to pick up the car - never again
Cons: The agent was slammed and completely unprepared for the number of cars picked up on a Sunday morning. The delay was worsened because they spent time upselling everything from insurance to extra drivers. ugghh!
Car given away due to delayed flight
Pros: Nothing, will never use SIXT again.
Cons: We arrived late due to flight delay (only 2 hrs late). We were informed that our car was given away and smaller car is available but for 2x price. No one attempted to contact us about our car being given away despite my cell phone and email being provided. SIXT staff member D. Taylor was extremely unhelpful and suggested we go with another rental company - so we chose Enterprise. They were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We will only be renting from them now and never from SIXT. SIXT needs to work on training their employees in empathy and basic customer service.
Drop off closed early
Pros: The check in is was great .
Cons: The office in Glasgow closed 20 minutes early with no signs as to where the drop off box is or what to do. I wasted 40 minutes trying to get a hold of someone to help me

Cons: The check in was a bit long I booked a peugeot 308 automatic and I got a mini The guy at the agency presented it as an upgrade as my car wasn't available. I didn't know yet what I was getting into so I agreed. If I would have known how uncomfortable this car was I would have said no!!! I booked the 308 to have a spacious and comfortable car to do our tour of Scotland. The mini didn't match our expectations in comfort at all!!!! We had to have a break every hour because of the pain on our backs and legs!!!
