10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed everything, i.e. the friendliness of the hosts/family, the cosy & comfortable room in the attic, the Spa facilities (despite the fact that there were no massages available due to the off-season => worth to check upfront), the breakfast and food in the own restaurant.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. The rooms were spacious and clean, well equipped. The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly as was the food for dinner!
Cons: Not everybody is a fan of sweet food - we would appreciate more variety at breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a family room on arrival, the extra space and 2 bathrooms made a huge difference to our appreciation of the hotel. The view from the room was exceptional . The staff were fantastic. The pool although indoors enjoyed panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The location could not be faulted being short walks to the main lifts and to the bus stops going up and down the valley. The hotel provides a free bus pass so there is no need to use the car .
Cons: I would have liked more variety at breakfast , scrambled eggs and bacon were always on he menu and were invariable almost gone by the time we arrived .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are great and the staff are very professional but still kind and friendly. Fantastic food and perfect location. We had a lovely summer visit. The town is nice and the opportunities to walk will suit everyone.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Laurin is absolutely outstanding! I have stayed in many Ritz and Four Seasons hotels and this hotel and the Hotel Laurin staff is even more exceptional. The service and the hotel staff is wonderful. They take great care and pride in the hotel, the cleanliness and their customers. We loved the breakfast each morning. There is something for everyone to eat, all tastes and diet exceptions included. The bed and duvet was so comfortable and the room was spacious. We liked having a balcony. There is onsite parking and the hotel is located in the center of town and easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. We enjoyed La Bula across the street. We preferred Selva over Ortisei as it is a smaller town. I would recommend this property to everyone.
Cons: We loved everything. The perfect stay!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about our stay at the Hotel Lauren was wonderful, but the hotel’s staff was perhaps the best part about our experience: extremely friendly and helpful, they went out of our way to make our time in Selva di Gardena memorable. The property is centrally located - close to a number of amazing restaurants. Breakfast is plentiful and robust. And the massage services unparalleled.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in town walking to restaurants and shops. Easy access to bus system to start hikes in nearby towns or gondola. Lovely spa area and With saunas, jacuzzi and pool. Spa services available which we regrettably didn’t use. Amazing buffet breakfast with cheeses, fruits, coffee , breads, eggs and crepes in demand. Worth paying for!! Hosts(owners) are incredibly nice and accommodating.
Cons: Rooms facing street are noisy. We upgraded to a quieter room which was worth it for us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Indeed, the hotel is charming! The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere! The hotel is very nice decorated, with a luxury touch. Everything was good in the room. Good shower, nothing was broken, everything was perfectly coordinated! You could relax in the sauna's, eat a piece of cake at 5 pm, drink an Irish coffee. The breakfast was superb! Everybody in the hotel was so very nice, from the owners until the women in the restaurant and the man who carried the suitcases! They made the stay personal, by knowing you and have a small talk. I only can say...this is the perfect place to stay in the Dolomites!

Pros: Our host Anna was very warm and welcoming and provided us with some great recommendations for lunch/dinner nearby. The room and facilities were extremely clean and comfortable to use. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast which comprised different types of bread, cold meats, cheese, egg and yoghurt.
Cons: It was hard to spot the villa as it was sitting behind a large store front and hotel off the main road (and it was night time as well) so we made a few wrong turns initially that delayed our check in time by around 15 minutes.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was a very good stay, the welcome was very good and friendly. the owner and host was very very friendly and did everything for us. The breakfast was good, simple but just what you need before a ski trip. Room was clean and big enough, also good blindings for a good dark room to sleep. I don't wright reviews often but for this I make an exception. Thanks for the good care and stay!! Greetings Daan
Cons: nothing

Pros: I liked this villa a great deal. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Clean, beautiful, modern room & other facilities; good breakfast; walking distance from the mountain trails. Free parking on site. Good value for money as well. Basically everything one would want from accommodation.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, new facilities, very quiet, walking distance to many restaurants. Generally everything in the town was max a 10min walk away. Facilities for drying ski boots.
Cons: Breakfast could include vegetables but we are vegetarians so for others it might not be an issue.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and so cute
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely friendly host. Very clean Good breakfast Excellent location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding service! This small guesthouse with only 6 rooms stands out for its cleanliness, cosiness and excellent service. Charming wood panelling, sufficient wardrobes, underfloor heating and modern bathroom. This is all of the finest. The W-LAN availability is very good. All rooms with flat screen and TV in HD quality. Some rooms may have sounds from the early morning delivery to the supermarket. Is bearable, one should only know. The breakfast is more than sufficient, everything in relation to the size of the house: cereals, rolls, sausage, cheese, etc. and fresh egg. A house where you don't have to ask for more coffee because the coffee pot is big enough. The boss always has something special, whether it's a yoghurt with fresh raspberries or an apple strudel. In the house you can also get drinks at reasonable prices. Of course you can also go to the supermarket next door. The location is very central near the big market. The gondola can be reached in 5-10 minutes and you can also take the ski bus. Or you can start above the ice stadium in the ski lift. The house has a well structured ski cellar (at ground level). This house is a very clear recommendation
Cons: It is a small guest-house so you have to see the options at the breakfast in relation to the size of the house (six rooms)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable and, unusually for this day and age, had plenty of hooks and storage space. Breakfast choices were adequate given the small size of the establishment, and Anna, the owner/manager? was extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: -Nice breakfast -Very nice room - everything brand new, very cosy -Ski room -Location - Close to lifts and restaurants, parking on site, supermarket next door,

Pros: Looked new. Immaculate property. Very helpful cheerful owner. Close to town but along a quiet lane. Peaceful. Rating of 10 is not enough.
Cons: Nothing

10,0 Excellent
Pros: So good to return. A luxurious hotel with an incredibly comfortable bed, spacious room and excellent breakfast together with such lovely friendly staff made for an excellent trip. We will be back again!
Cons: This is minor but the plug sockets in the room are rather limited.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with a lot of local fruits and veggies, hot and cold options - everything fresh and a ton of choice. The spa facilities were amazing, particularly the outdoor pool and 2 saunas. Make sure to get a massage while you are there. Location is great - short walk to the town, but quite. Big bed.
Cons: The toiletries in the bathroom were not great (no shampoo). On two occasions we were lacking bath towels and bath robes, so had to go get those at the reception. Parking was a bit tight at moments. Uncomfortable pillows.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our first stay at the hotel was full of pleasant surprises. Delicious breakfast and dinner menu with great variety throughout our week's stay. The staff was most helpful, the amenities perfect for relaxation and yet close to the action--a shuttle runs every 15 minutes to the gondola. Spring skiing at its finest. A guide took us around the abundant terrain and local musicians entertained us at the various ski chalets atop of the mountains. This was a truly memorable ski vacation for us. And we are a little spoiled from skiing the Canadian Rockies!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Superior food, friendly, helpful and professional staff without exception, great wellness area, excellent location, etc, etc. Standard rooms are good already; we upgraded to a lodge suite, which was superlative. You really notice that it is a family-run (and well run) place when, for instance, the owner will drive you to the pistes when the driver is not around. Grazie a tutti, era un soggiorno fantastico.
Cons: WiFi was slow, this is apparently an issue with the fixed-line connections in the area (the hotel WiFi equipment was modern). At least, it was available everywhere.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The best hotel!
Cons: Hotter water in the jacuzzi :)

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. Free bus pass plus free guided hike through Val Gardena Active & Evrnts
Cons: Tiles being replaced in area adjacent to our room so noise was an issue. Asked for a quiet room but was given a room above the hotel entrance where people arrived and left. It was shoulder season so better rooms were available. I think this is a booking.com issue - if you use booking.com you are not treated the same as guests who book directly with the hotel. In the future I will book direct.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Stayed here for about a week. Its a modern, clean little hotel in Selva. Very quiet location, still close to town centre. Our room was modern, spacious and had a nice view of the surrounding mountains. Fast wifi. Large car park. Extensive breakfast buffet.
Cons: The shared balcony. Breakfast served from 8 am (that is a bit too late)
8,8 Excellent
Cons: No facilities in room for hot drinks. Bar service (which would provide hot drinks as well) closed at 10.00pm Take a portable kettle and tea/coffee etc if it is important to you

Pros: Wonderful location up a hill away from the busy center, but still close enough it's not bothersome. Fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff, and the relaxing atmosphere make it very special.

Pros: Next to slope, excelent breakfast, warm atmosphere
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed at Chalet Elisabeth for 8 nights. Sabina, the proprietor, went out of her way to help us with our hiking plans; she knew about the trails, how to get to them, what might be a good hike for the day. The interior of Chalet Elisabeth--built by Sabina's husband entirely of local pine (walls, ceilings, floors, furniture)--is lovely and serene. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable, had a great view of the mountains and was beautiful--a wonderful place to return to after a long day of hiking. The breakfasts had great breads, pastries, eggs cooked to order, cheeses, meats, fresh and dried fruits, vegetables, granolas and muesli, yogurt, jams and great coffee. I hope we can return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chalet Elisabeth! Sabine, who is the hotel owner was an excellent host and even helped me plan my transport from Austria, which was incredibly helpful as I booked my trip last minute. The Chalet is beautifully decorated and has a very cozy feel. I loved the variety at breakfast and food was great. The sauna/outdoor Jacuzzi is a must do! Best of all the location is very central with many great restaurants nearby and a very short walk to the main ski lift. I loved my stay here and would like to come again!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Enjoy the friendly and helpful hospitality of the family. Sabina is a wonderful host and she gave all the essential information and recommendations to her guests. The common area and rooms are comfortable with good taste of decorations. The location is very good that skiers can go to most of key ski routes and areas without taking the ski bus by getting onto the nearest gondola with a few mins walk, and ski back just right the road in front of the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about Chalet Elizabeth which is run by Sabine’s family Sabine is great hostess, friendly and professional, gives advices and recommendations to her guests Chalet is at convenient and great location. A home away from home Agree that you feel like a friend in Sabine’s home rather than guest in a hotel

She really helped us maximise our time in the Dolomites with her recommendations . We appreciated the delicious breakfasts which included fresh local produce and home baking. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well postioned.

Pros: This property was amazing. When you look around Selva you'll see tons of hotels, restaurants, shops and all of them have a super quaint mountain feel BUT Chalet Elisabeth gives you all that plus modern updates with premium service.
Cons: Nothing remotely bad to say. Wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when returning to the dolomites.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast The serviceminded staff The big and furnitured balcony The garden
Cons: The beds were hard There was a light with motion detecor at the entrance of the room which lightened up the room When you walk throug the entrance - that was disturbing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is very cozy, atmospheric and at the same time stylish and comfortable. I can recommend it to everyone and I will be happy to come back again! What we liked: - The room was clean, comfortable, light and stylish, with new furniture and fantastic view on the Sella Mountains. The bathroom was also new, very light and with a set of bath accessories. On the balcony there was a table and two chairs for romanti evening overlooking the mountains - It was our honeymoon, so we got the room with a decorated bed and probably with the best view of the mountains. Every morning I admired the view from the window! - Wonderful owners – wife and husband, very friendly and always smiling, they provide all the information about the region and they are very attentive to the needs of each client - Super breakfasts with vegetables and fruits, berries and nuts, meat and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, croissants, several types of muesli, yoghurts, juices, coffee and tea. Everything was very tasty, fresh and local production - When we arrived, it was cold outside and in the room, but the next morning the heating was already turned on - At the reception you can get the tickets for public transport not only in Val Gardena, but for entire region (buses and regional trains), the only condition is that you must leave your ticket at the check-out (with the room keys) - WiFi worked good, not only for email, but also for Skype - There is free private parking near the hotel - The hotel is decorated in a typical Alpine style with many lovely details, and outside there is a relax area with sun beds and armchairs - There is a ski storage room (in winter) used like a bicycle room (in summer) - For us the position of the hotel was good. Almost in the center of Selva di Val Gardena near shops and restaurants, only 15 min by car from fantastic Passo Sella and about 20 min by bus from Ortisei (with a free ticket) with its cable car to Mount Seceda. But it depepends on what you want to see in Val Gardena
Cons: What did not like: - The biggest problem of this hotel – there is no bidet, for Italy it’s very-very strange. - Our bathroom was small, with noisy ventilation (turned on automatically with the light) and there were no hooks for large towels, only for a small right next to the sink (not very comfortable). There were only one portion of shower gel and soap for the whole of stay – very strange for the 3* hotel. - Our room was small and without fridge - There was a small dressing-room at the entry to our room (very useful!) with the light turned on by motion sensor. But it reacted only at the ceiling level, so we had to jump for activate it))) - At breakfast there was a strange seating system - we couldn’t sit at any free table, the owners said us where to sit (as in restaurants) - The reception works with 3-4 breaks of the day, so it’s not possible to ask for the information or help non-stop during all the day.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location (near to lift and shops/restaurants). Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Pillow was very hard, but the hotel was able to change for me.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place. Clean and tidy. Great breakfast. Awesome facilities including several types of saunas, a swimming pool and a couple of jakuzis with one outdoors. Very polite and helpful staff. Skiing slope is only a few meters away with a ski rental shop right beside it. Ski storage boxes are available in the hotel. Garage is quite big, however could be full on the late hours.
Cons: The room which we priorly booked did show a king size bed as well as a sofa bed. Based on this information we assumed in good faith that such bed arrangement should have been enough to accommodate two adults and one 9-year old. Upon arrival we were surprised to hear that we were not able to stay in the booked room due to safety issues. So, the hotel gave us another room with the same bed arrangement, but for an additional payment of 30% to be paid for the 9-year old. Perhaps, a clarification should be added to room descriptions to avoid misleadiings.

Pros: The rooms , the breakfast, the staff and the spa was amzing. Loved everything about this hotel.
Cons: nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place, amazing food, attentive staff.
Cons: We ordered bread for our picnic and instead got packed lunches... 5 for 60€... Then negotiated down to 30€ for 10 sandwich size buns which was closer to what we wanted, which was three loaves of bread. 5€ usually buys several fresh baked loaves in this town. A very weird and uncomfortable interaction that left an odd taste in my mouth after an otherwise fabulous stay. Other hotels our group has used (we were 10 people staying multiple nights, probably paying something like 5000€...) have had no problems accommodating a very simple thing like selling (or often giving) us bread so we don't have to wait to hike on slow Sunday mornings... I'll chalk it up to miscommunication and not stinginess but definitely make sure they actually understand what you ask for.

The hostess speaks English and other staff understand common requests. The breakfast was also very good with a variety of choices. And it has an elevator!

Pros: Clean, friendly, relatively short walk to the lifts. A bit expensive, but hey, thats a ski resort after all.
Cons: Completely unrelated to the hotel, a hit & run skiing accident that has sent me into a hospital, for surgical fixes, is definitely something i didn't like. Hotel staff has been very helpful, though.

Cons: Nothing. There's a lot of construction going on in the area around the hotel but there's nothing they can do about that.

Cons: The kitchen space was cramped.

Pros: Appertments are very clean and comfortable,Slopes are a little bit far.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was superb for us as we had one 6 year old in skischool and the children area is just 200m away. Spar is just around the corner.
Cons: Could make beds and change towels more often, (beds were never made and towels changed once during week stay), no breakfast option. Not related to the residense; Selva could have more variety in restaurants, almost the same menu where ever you go
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice apartment for 2 though we lacked a wall between dining room and bedroom when our child was asleep. Perfectly operated apartments, clean and fully functional. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very close to the slopes though you can't ride to the hotel from them. And the slopes nearby are strange: you have to change bugel and walk twice uphill to reach Sellaronda cabins (this is not related to the apartments but to the resort infrastructure). Perfect swimming pool for children!
Cons: Naked sauna visitors
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Wellness area.
Cons: No salt n pepper in the kitchen.

Pros: Spacious underground parking, proximity to ski slopes, nearby grocery store and choice of restaurants in the area. Spacious and well equipped apartment.

Pros: Great location, very close (basically behind) the Dantercepies cable car (perfect in winter for skiing and in summer as a starting point for the excursions). The room was big and clean, with a magic view of the mountains. We also appreciated the variety of courses for dinner and the quality of the food.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. This is "ski and go" hotel. But: Only For experts - champinoi, saslong, and cabins to Colfosco - a perfect start to ski professional; and for beginners - ski school near.... People from our team, who are liked blue slopes (link to unlike). All staff are perfect! The kitchen is impeccable, as is the room service. The ski room is perfect. Kitchen, rooms, parking, wifi - very good
Cons: For people who liked "blue" slopes - There will be a problem that need auto-move to Colfosko or Plan de Gralba... There is no hydromassages in the pool.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this hotel! From the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, to the lovely clean and comfortable rooms, to the amazing breakfast - we didn't want to leave! The only one suggestion that I would have is to have an iron available - but to be fair I didn't actually ask so they may have had them if I asked.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view, nice big room with lovely sitting area and balcony, great bath and shower! Staff is very kind and helpful. Great breakfast buffet.
Cons: It’s a bit if a trek up the hill from town, especially after a long hike or big dinner!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this family run hotel was superb-location(right opposite a cable car),comfort, food, friendliness and helpfulnesss of staff. The only drawback would be the walk uphill from town for people who were less than fit!
