10,0 Excellent
Pros: Riquewihr is an idyllic village and the property lived up to expectations. Martine was a great host was always happy to help in any way and obviously takes pride in her property. Communal breakfast is great allowing meeting other nationalities.
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved that this apartment was a bit away from the main drag. It was very quiet and didn’t have hoards of people streaming by (like the main street). It was very spacious and we loved relaxing in the living room. Our host was just lovely! She made breakfast for us every day and it was more than just a continental breakfast...bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, jam, butter, juice, coffee/tea.
Cons: The only thing we would have liked was a bed (queen or king) that wasn’t two singles pushed together (but this is common in Europe). It wasn’t a big deal for us but would have been nice.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location into Riquewihr was very good. We had three spacious rooms.
Cons: Strange sleeping arrangement with only a small blanket per person on a bed with no regular bedsheets. The mattress cover was like bedsheets but not quite adequate. The owner was nice but didn’t speak English. Our French is non-existent so vital information about things like the best way to get to Strasbourg on the train via a park and ride was not communicated to us, but was given to other guests. Unfortunately the train parking in Selestat that was host recommended was not possible.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, apartment very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Very comfortable and clean with super breakfast. Excellent location. Very helpful owner.
Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Very clean and spacious rooms. Lovely terrace and garden. Very friendly and helpful couple running this B&B. Perfect and quiet location for visiting Alsace and the wine route. Both French, English and German spoken. We highly recommend this place.
Cons: Everything was good!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I spent three absolutely wonderful days at Le Clos Des Raisins and can only recommend this B&B. It is located in a small, calm and picturesque village - however, it is still very central and in the midst of other absolutely stunning and beautiful little towns and villages. The B&B is a true oasis and the hospitality of the owners can hardly be beat. We were welcomed very cordially and equipped with many helpful tips for the area. The breakfast was amazing and especially the countless homemade jams a true treat.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location and very characteristic clean rooms. We enjoyed to stay there.
Cons: Hard to get wifi in our rooms, but It was ok for all. Sometimes you need away from internet.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere was great with staff very welcoming. Excellent food especially the tarte flambée with apple and calvados. Very good continental breakfast.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice room, food had a limited choice but ok. Great breakfast and staff, loved the choice of bread.
Cons: The church bells at 6.00am! The evening bar girl was not as attentive as she should have been, we waited 15mins for her to take our order but she didn’t, even though she went to both tables next to us. We went to our room thirsty!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property and area, close to the towns we wanted to visit, very clean and comfortable
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Liked the atmosphere. Staff incredibly friendly.
Cons: Wifi service very poor in room. Second room in suite was with a slanted roof so less convenient for taller adult.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice rustic and ancient property C.1569 in a pretty village just off the Alsace Wine Route. We had a balcony which was a bonus. The rooms were comfortable and there is a restaurant within walking distance and a Bar/Bistro below the property. There are two vineyards in the village and you are close to several pretty villages. We would stay again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Our second visit as we enjoyed it so much the first time during our journey between Sardinia and London. Love the cosiness of the wood panelled rooms with antique pieces and the atmosphere in the cellar bar/restaurant. A wood-fired oven in the other room is used to cook the delicious tartes flambées they serve. Good breakfast also served in the cellar. Beblenheim is lovely and surrounded by many more gorgeous Alsace villages.

8,8 Excellent
Cons: Very pricey and food choice is very limited
6,7 Good
Pros: The pleasant staff
Cons: The restaurant and breakfast was poor and the hotel generally needs refurbishment
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is stunning and calming. Each room has a balcony or small porch overlooking the Vineyards. We rather enjoyed hanging out watching the view on some days rather than racing around the small villages. Staff were friendly and competent. They too knew when to give us space -- we were exhausted and slept very late one morning and no one knocked on our door to clean. It was great! Rooms were beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and served on the balcony. We only ate it 1x as it is fairly large (and we opted to grab something on the go when we were sightseeing). We did not have dinner here so cannot comment. I will happily steer friends here.
Cons: Some of the electricity sockets turn off when you turn off the lights - thus you have to search the room for 1 that stays on through the night in order to power up electronics. This is a 'europe energy conservation thing' and not related simply to this hotel. We unplugged the tv and found this socket stayed on all night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautiful, located in the heart of a vineyard . very romantic. the view from the room was just breathtaking. The breakfast was very good, the variety and quality of breads superb. The staff very friendly.
Cons: my only problem was with the shower. There was no curtin or some sort of a barrier, so every shower ended up with water everywhere.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The christmas spirit. The spa. The room . The view and windows
Cons: Nothing
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel/the view is fantastic. The staff is friendly.
Cons: The place is generally a little run-down. The pool/spa area desperately needs renovation.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: You should be there to see why my score was so high. Personal letters were amazing, so as care, atmosphere, style, nature around, ambiance, breakfast and hosts. Seamless care polite staff ready to help. I had such a lovely stay
Cons: Nothing

5,8 Okay
Pros: Central town location. Excellent bed.
Cons: Awful communication. Arrived to check in at 2pm and no one was around. After an hour of trying we got in touch with the owner who informed me they wouldnt be able to check us in until 6 pm. Apparently if checking in on a Tuesday you need to arrange a 'check in appointment' prior to arrival. I have never had this. No apology for making us wait in motorcylce gear for 3 hrs in the heat wave. And the worst is that they lied about agreeing with us a check in time and sending us an email the day before. No email was received. Another couple checking in the same day were in the same situation; they were also told they were emailed but this email was also not received. Good apartment but I would never stay again. This really soured our honeymoon. (stayed in 11 different places around Europe and this was the only place that let us down).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything perfect in every way.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charles was absolutely great!! He was attentive to our needs/ questions. I am a chef from the states and I’d hire him in an instant!! The boutique hotel had lovely suites and a personal breakfast in the morning. The food at their restaurant was amazing. Really exceeded my expectations on service and food.
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location , clean , value for money , nice bed.
Cons: Language barrier , staff can be more guest oriented.
6,0 Good
Pros: The position
Cons: The breakfast starts too late, at 9 am
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was super, room was big and comfy
Cons: Steep stairs and had to carry luggage ourselves No English TV channels
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Right in the middle of tiny Riquewihr, these lovely apartments were perfect. We stayed in the modern design apartment, which was on the top floor. Supercomfy bed, great shower. A nice breakfast was served in the next door Brendelstaub, which has the same owners. You pick up the key from there too.
Cons: If you are in fit condition like us, the apartment on the top floor should not be a problem. However, if you have problems walking, this may not be your best option.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The incessant music piped through the street!!!! Dreadful? Dreadful!!!
Kanzel Residences - Riquewihr - Building

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Kanzel Residences in Beblenheim, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of NaturOparC and Château Girsberg. Featured amenities include a safe deposit box at the front desk and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Very quiet and lots of privacy. The pool was excellent. There is a sauna and showers near the pool. The scenery is just marvelous.
Cons: Kitchenette is really small with very limited cooking functionality.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice swimming pool with both shadow and sun. I was nice and quiet, calm atmosphere and a friendly host.
Cons: Our apartment was clearly one of the oldest, with only a very small and simple kitchenette, which made cooking and doing the dishes a challenge. For the rest is was okay: the apartment was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower very spacious. Except the small kitchen nothing was really wrong, but the price level would have suggested a more up-to-date apartment. The WiFi was almost impossible: no reach for some of the time, and when connected very slow. So I used my 4G network to connect and made my own hotspot so that my wife could read the newspapers on her tablet.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location in the middle of the vineyards, the buildings, the spacious accomodations, and the pool area surrounded by old trees were all wonderful. The kitchen in our apartment had everything you needed to prepare small meals, and sitting outside just in front of the apartment with our morning coffee and a view of the vineyards was heavenly! We left our car at home and brought our bikes on the train, but even so, Kanzel Residences was easy to reach from the Colmar train station - as were restaurants and shops in Beblenheim, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé and Kaysersberg (no need to bike on the major roads, there are excellent bike paths through the vineyards which allow you to avoid traffic).
Cons: The only thing less than perfect was that we had no WiFi access in our room during the stay - we had to go to the reception area or close to the pool. Caroline and Serge tried their very best to have this fixed, though, but it was apparently a major technical problem.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was arranged perfectly with a lot of attention to the details. Very welcoming place. Highly recommended.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find and easy check-in with the friendly host. The room and bathroom were very spacious and we had everything we needed. It’s location is nice and convenient for sightseeing. Comfortable bed and it was nice and quiet during the night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: - Carolina is a great host. After we arrived we could immediately enter our appartement, no unnecesary paperwork. Carolina showed us the appartement. - The appartement was soo nice. Big kitchen with everything you need. Big bathroom and nice terrace. We stayed with just the two of us. I believe we had one of the bigger appartments though. - There was also a great pool. Water temperature was perfect! Not too hot and not too cold. - A very good bakery nearby. Also a little supermarket. - Overall: defenitely reccomend!
Cons: - Nothing!

There are three restaurants in easy walking distance and a family vineyard offering tastings just steps away (Schwach crémant is excellent!). Book now!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners take great care in preparing a lovely breakfast - beautiful fresh fruit, croissants, olives. Also cheeses, cereals, yogurt, juice. You won't need anything more.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect breakfast :)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room is quite big with good terrace, bed is comfortable, bathroom is big, shower very good.
Cons: check-in time quite late (from 4:30pm), there is no cooking facilities although there is a dinning table in the room and they have good terrace, this kind of location would be much more attractive if they could provide cooking facilities.
7,5 Good
Pros: The rooms made us feel at home with the decor, and it was also very big. The hosts (husband and wife) were nice - especially the husband who had given us a lift to the nearby town and took a scenic route up the vineyards. Breakfast was serviceable. The view from our room of the mountains and vineyards was excellent.
Cons: The property shares its grounds with a wine factory. There was unfortunately a large commotion right outside our window from 5.30am because workers had come in to start work, and heavy bottling machinery started work from about 6.30am onwards. So we were kept up with a loud sound in our heads with nowhere to go to escape from the sound for a good 3 hours till breakfast time. We were told that the sounds would be there once or twice a month but that it was exceptionally early. So you may still want to take your chances.

7,1 Good
Pros: The location in the heart of the town was excellent. The hotel looks very attractive from the outside. The town itself is a gem.
Cons: The rooms were in an sidebuilding to the hotel, and on the day we arrived (after 6pm) the hotel proper and restuarant were closed and the keys had to be collected from a safe box. It might as well hve been an AirBnB. We did not eat in the restaurant the following day as it looked over-fussy. The breakfast was simple continental, and bad value for €11.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Terrific restaurant, comfy beds, nice staff, and great central location for walking, but difficult to drive into village during hours when some roads are closed for pedestrians.
Cons: No A/C (but fans are available) and lots of stairs
7,1 Good
Pros: We didn't have the best experience with the check in process but the hotel overall was really clean, really cute and the bathroom was huge.
Cons: Well we arrived at the village around 11am and there was no one at the hotel and the restaurant was closed. There was no place to leave our luggage so we had to ask a number of other hotels and the police station who obviously all refused to leave them our luggage. Eventually we dragged our luggage to the tourist information center who called our hotel and arranged for the cleaner to be there in order to give us keys and leave our luggage. We then dragged our luggage back to the hotel. The cleaner was waiting for us and she gave us the keys and we finally had a place to leave our luggage. Overall i found the check in process extremely difficult as the check in was possible only from 3 pm to 6 pm and we went through an unnecessary hustle for leaving our luggage.

Pros: We loved the location! Right in the middle of the buzz yet on a side street. And so close to the bus stop!
Cons: Its a bit dated. The elevator was creepy for someone who’s afraid of them!

Pros: Location and character of the hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is really beautiful and in a great location. The parking lot is a huge help, though a bit pricey. But nothing is cheap in Riquewihr, and we really needed it. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is great. It's stylish while keeping it's antique look. I would definitely book again.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good range, well cooked, pleasant staff. The atmosphere was relaxed.
Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of the village with secure private parking 5 min walk from the entrance to the hotel. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely, quiet room and exceptional location. We paid for breakfast the first morning, which was very good with plenty of variety. The staff also let us eat some cheese and salami one evening in the breakfast serving area, which we felt was really nice. Their recommendations for restaurants were very good, too. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
Cons: The shower stall was a bit dark, but not bad. My husband's mattress was a bit soft with age, but mine was fine. The local bus did not prove reliable, so we ended up taking taxis to other towns most of the time. The town itself is quite small, so it can be seen in one day, but then you can visit other small towns nearby either by bicycle, car, bus or taxi. Still, it's nice to have some time to take in the peace and quiet once most tourists have left for the day.

Overview Reviews
The Schlossberg hotel is ideally set in the heart of the old village of Zellenberg, amongst half-timbered Alsatian houses. This hotel will give you the choice between 9 spacious, air-conditioned rooms. Each room includes a TV, minibar and internet access. Some of the rooms have a private terrace and a view of the vineyards. Located opposite Riquewihr, 1 of the most visited villages in France, the hotel has also built its reputation on its top-quality restaurant serving some of the best local recipes in a warm atmosphere.
6,7 Good
Pros: Very quiet with a great view of vineyards and the Vosges Mountains. The room was fine, with cute Alsatian touches, such as folk designs painted on the door. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great, the towels were thick. The entire room floor (bathroom too) was covered in carpet squares, nice on bare feet. And the terrace was big enough to enjoy the view from.
Cons: The check in was confusing: hotel is one building, restaurant where you check in is across the narrow street and down one house, The included dinner and breakfast were uninspired and not worth the money. Next time I'll take the room only! The owners (man especially) was unhelpful, he finally sent me to find his wife while he was using the internet.

Pros: Charming location
Cons: Breakfast average. Bed not so confortable.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was nice and very typical/local. Would have appreciated the opportunity for an egg or other protein. Plenty of food, though, and the hosts did not scrimp.
4,0 Okay
Pros: nice location, easy access to parking and surrounding area.
Cons: Old and run-down hotel at a premium price point. Old beds and bedding, inconsistent heaters. Made the mistake of paying for a meal at the counter in front of the kitchen. The "office" space was utterly disgusting. very very dirty and disorganized. It made one question the cleanliness of the kitchen and rest of the facilities. All in all just a very tired feel. Not a place where we would return.
6,3 Good
Pros: very quaint hotel, very typical of the area. The Hotel is across from the restaurant and Zellenberg is very small with little more but it is in close proximity to other lovely places.
Cons: The rooms are very small and be aware that you must CANCEL breakfast not order it and you will be charged a portion of the price if you do not show up or cancel which we found somewhat odd. The restaurant has traditional food although not at great prices, it is a tourist location after all. Parking can be a problem specifically at busy periods.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the village are just stunning. Lovely short walk around the village was very enjoyable. The accommodation I had was great, very roomy and all the facilities I required. Coupled with the restaurant it made for a perfect stay. Unfortunately it was only for one night though.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding food quality at the restaurant.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Dinner at the restaurant is excellent. Breakfast is average. Location of the hotel and view of my room are excellent. Outlook and Interior of the restaurant are excellent.
Cons: Wifi connection could be improved.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We've loved the food in the hotel, the quality was great! Everything homemade and better than Michelin rewieved restaurants in the closed towns. It's located in a small town on the hill, with a wondeful view of the landscape. The hotel is in a 1500's house (just lovely), the room (aloyse) is big, so clean and comfortable. Parking is close to the hotel and it is free.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: After paying the bills and after we left in the morning the owners wrongfully used my credit card to deduct 20 Euros later in the evening. It's shocking how they could do this. The 20 Euros were deducted from my bill after dicussion n a fresh bill was made and given to me. Yet they misused my credit card. It's important not to allow misuse of anyone's payment card just coz a CVV is given while booking. This is a dangerous trait. It's not a question of 20 euros it's the question of ethics, what one can do just for 20 euros. Regrets will not recommend anyone to stay here.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We arrived on a Sunday and as per instructions the key was available in a lock box - very efficient. The room had a small table and two chairs, which was useful. There was a kettle and sachets for hot drinks. It was hot, although not as hot as the heatwave the previous week. It was helpful that there were only sheets on the bed not a full duvet. These were aviable in the room if needed though. The staff were very helpful getting our tablet connected to the wifi. It was a bonus seeing storks nest very close to the hotel.
Cons: We had a room facing the main road through town. It was quite noisy from about 6am to late evening. It did quieten down at night. The church bells rang at 6am for at least 30 seconds. They were very loud. They then rang every 15 minutes until 10pm. There was no lift only stairs (we knew this when booking). There was no fridge in the room but you could use the fridge and freezer at reception if you wished. There was an airconditioner in the room, which was quite noisy but cooled the room down ready for sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s always the actions of the owners that reflect and define a small hotel such as this. They were on the phone to us the day we left, concerned because they thought we had left behind an important document. Truly thoughtful and wonderful people.
6,7 Good
Pros: Cleanliness only
Cons: Check in time 4.30 pm is very odd. More over on Sundays after 11 am the restaurant closes and staff goes away.

Pros: The location is very good to explore places all over Alsae
Cons: The reception was closed on Sunday! No one to talk to or asking for help...

Pros: This is a family hotel, not fancy but made with love. we enjoy our stay in this hotel. The restaurant in the hotel have local/original cuisine which we enjoyed.

Cons: The rooms in the pictures look renovated, however it seems not all room are renovated.
6,0 Good
Cons: We booked a room for two in Hotel Le Menestrel. The Hotel is seen on the picture on top of this evaluation and was also seen during the booking proces. We parked at the hotel, and checked in at the reception. Then we got a (cellar) apartment in a separate bulding behind the hotel. It was a nice apartment, but we did not "live" in the hotel as we expected. My conclusion is, that we were a little bit cheated or misinformed during the booking proces. And the price was not low.
