Pros: Everything was perfect. We felt like all of our requests were met as if they were the littlest things gs, from asking for a very late, last minute dinner on our arrival at 11 PM to a very early breakfast before our 8AM checkout! Plus the property is stunning and the hotel has the most amazing old fashioned decor without feeling remotely dated! This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in in 75+ countries!!
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the place, very calm and amazing ambiance. Exceptional food! Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations, lunch and dinner we ordered and was worth money. There is no need to go to the village for food because it is the best in the hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Probably it is the best hotel in town :)
Cons: The road toreach the hotel is not pretty.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous views, local village feel. Beautiful old cottage. Lovely meals on the terrace. Willing staff. All fabulous.
Cons: Nothing. It is rustic and gorgeous. If you like 5 star modern it’s not for you!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Location was unique and unparalleled. A very unique experience in a unique Turkish village. The food was excellent prepared from fresh produce straight from the gardens. The cooking class was fantastic.
Cons: Not much not to like, just be prepared to walk steep inclines when heading into village below.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay at Nisanyan. It is a slice of paradise perched up above Sirince. We stayed in one of the cottages, which was wonderful. The pool, the terrace by the cottages and the breakfast were all highlights. We had a dinner for two on the tower which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend it for a special dinner! Watching the sunset while eating amazing food was magical. Just don't do what we did and miss the turn off an drive through the village! Not an experience I would like to repeat.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful, so helpful and pleasant. The location is stunning! The decor was bohemian and very stylish. The food was fresh and delicious. It's a magical hotel with a different concept and provides a tranquil respite from city life.
Cons: There are a lot of steps and steep inclines which makes it difficult for elderly visitors or disabled visitors. There could be more vegan options as main courses.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the staff, the accommodation, the views, the food... Nisanyan Hotel is an oasis in the region and offers a perfect balance between rustic and comfort. No request was too much for the staff, who are superb without being obsequious. I give the place an 11 out of 10!
Cons: Nothing! It was one the best accommodation experiences I have had.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent hotel - far the best one of our two-week-trip in Turkey. Everything (both the rooms and the public area) are decorated with unbeatable charm. The outdoor pool is located in the forest, but just three minutes walking from the main building.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was extraordinary, like something out of a fairytale. We stayed in the main hotel, and the rooms were large and well appointed. There was a large living room with a library right outside our room. Outside there are terraces with tables, couches, for dining, having a a drink, or just relaxing while looking at the amazing view. The staff was super friendly and efficient. We had dinner which was very good. As other people have mentioned, the breakfast was fantastic! The best we had in Turkey. All the produce was from their garden. Decor wise, if you like bohemian style you will swoon at the attention to detail, and how just how beautiful it is. I hope to go back very soon to this unique hotel
Cons: This has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but don’t use the bloody GPS to find the hotel. Once you get to to the village (outside the center) look for the signs to the hotel. That way, you will avoid going through the busiest part of town, praying that you won’t run over all the tourists in the narrowest of streets. And then having to do that all over again. Also, the village is rather steep, and the streets are cobblestone. It would be difficult for an elderly person to get around.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I was very impressed with the service and our hosts were very friendly to us.
Cons: Everything was great here.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and helpful owner. The covered terrace for breakfast was very nice. The upgrade to a larger room was worth it. Very close to the sights in town and to the bus station to take you to Ephesus.
Cons: The small pool doesn't have heated water or a surface skimmer to remove debris. So we did not use it. Perhaps in the heat of the summer the pool could be refreshing without heated water, but they need to have a manual pool skimmer so you can get rid of the leaves, etc floating on the surface of the water.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastically helpful - they provided us with bottles of cold water as we arrived, were able to recommend everything we needed around the area, even did our laundry for us (for a nominal fee). They were very friendly and welcoming, absolutely would stay there again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: excellent service. Friendly staff. Thank you , Emre for your extra care and support
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Emre and his cousin were SO welcoming and eager to help, lovely people, best service ever (provided good advice all along the trip and even gave us a ride to the train station on the last day). Breakfast was simple but tasty and traditional. The room was a good size, we had complimentary water on the first night and the decor was quite charming (modern bathroom was definitely a plus). Location was perfect: we were within walking distance of all the attractions, I’d definitely stay here again if returning to Selçuk.
Cons: The acoustics could use some improvement because we could easily hear what the other guests were up to from our room... Also, just minor little things that could make the experience more comfortable would be: better lighting (the lamps in the room were lovely, but still can’t make up for ceiling lights)... and lastly the toilet basin in room 7 was a bit lopsided.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very supportive people. Good location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpfull. We took the night bus to Selçuk, so we arrived very early (at 6 am) and the hotel gave us a room few time after our arrival, without extra costs. They also helped us with transports to Efeso and helped us booking bus tickets for the next day. Room was clean. Breakfast was fine (cheese, ham, orange, strawberries, tomato, cucumber, fresh bread, cake, omelete, jam, tea, coffee..) Walking distance from city center and main attractions.
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We loved this small hotel! The room was large, clean and comfortable. The tiny pool was perfect for the hot afternoons -- refreshing! The folks who ran the place were helpful and friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed a glass of wine one evening in the open air restaurant -- nice view. Breakfasts were tasty. Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: At night we got a little street noise until maybe 10:00pm-- tractors coming back from fields, children enjoying the cool air. It didn't bother us too much, though.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place is really nice. The managers are really kind and are always willing to help you and give you the best advices. An special mention to the driver that brought us to the Ephesus. He was like a professional guide with us. Very recommended place
Cons: Everything is perfect.

Ilke also took us to Kusadasi and we had a wonderful meal by the Aegean sea. Nazar Hotel is like a second home. Cons: Can’t think of a thing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations. Even closer to the little downtown area with lots of little shops and restaurants. The staff were super nice and helpful, with good tips on getting around. The rooms were modest but very decent and the roof top restaurant has an excellent view of the castle. The small pool and cold beer were the perfect way to relax after walking through Ephesus.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast

8,8 Excellent
Pros: One of the best breakfasts during our three week stay in Turkey. The hotel is located near restaurants and shops as well as bus and train stations making it easy to get to Ephesus, Sirince, and Izmir airport. The staff were very helpful. BTW - Food and drink prices in Selcuk were very reasonable compared to other places we visited e g Cappadocia, Fethiye, Datca, Pamukkale and Istanbul.
Cons: The room we stayed in could do with a coat of paint and the furniture was Spartan. It was a bit of a shock when we first walked in but got used to it and must emphasise that it was clean including the linen etc and the price was more than reasonable..
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable host trying to get you as comfortable as possible feeling like home!
Cons: Bathroom needs freshening air!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone at Bella hotel did a fantastic job making our stay wonderful. They did a great job giving us recommendations of where to go and when, and things we needed to know about each place. Breakfast was lovely as well.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good, plenty of space to park around the hotel. The rooftop has an amazing view of the city. The hotel staff wqas very helpful at all times
Cons: Room was very hot and air conditioning was not working properly. Also, the room wasn't very clean, there was hair and dust on the floor.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location is central. The lady who cleans the rooms and make breakfast is a sweetheart. The ottoman decor is nice. The rooftop terrace is nice.
Cons: The Friday night my wife and I came in at 12:30, the hotel was locked, we couldn’t enter. I knocked and got shouted at by the receptionist for being “late”. Apparently they lock the doors at 12. No one told me this and it is not written anywhere. To put this into perspective, this was peak season, Friday night, all the shops and restaurants are still open at that time. It was a terrible experience. The owner is uncomfortably nosy, he sits outside and questions you every time you leave or enter the hotel. The wi-fi is extremely slow. You can’t load instagram slow.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The property is strategically located. It's close to the train station which we used to travel to Izmir airport. Trains are fast and comfortable as in any other European country. It's also close to: Ephesus Archaeological Museum, Isa Bey Mosque, Ephesus Museum, Temple of Artemis and many more. Inside the building the atmosphere is very cozy, the owners are on site making sure everything's running smooth and they have an very fine carpet/handcraft shop next to it. The carpets are certified and the handcrafts are from very well known Turkish artist. National Geographic guide lists the shop as a trustful place to shop genuine handmade Turkish carpets. The terrace offered a great space to hangout, chill-out and have breakfast. You could spend the whole day here it wasn't for all the amazing sites the town has to offer.
Cons: The room we stayed at was tight and had no TV. Ephesus is one of those places where you won't spent a lot of time in your hotel room, but a small TV is always handy. The wifi signal was a little weak inside the room.
7,0 Good
Pros: The owner is friendly and speaks English well. It made me feel comfortable.
Cons: The room was quite old. so if you need a clean room. You will not like it.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is good, very close to the restaurants and shops. To Ephesus around 10 minutes by taxi. Fortunately the owner of the hotel is nice enough to drop us all to the entrance of Ephesus.
Cons: The room is very small. No space for our luggage for 2 person. It is good for backpackers, but if you have a trolley, iT won’t be enough space for you.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Traditional turkish decor throughout the hotel is beautiful! Location great, close to town and right next to st. John’s basilica. Roof terrace is lovely!
Cons: Room and shower VERY small. Note that the free transport to ephesus is only at 9am and 3pm (fixed)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Having breakfast in the roof terrace, watching the storks, was a highlight. And Erdal and Nazmi wer very helpful with restaurant recommendations & excursions.
Cons: The room was a little cramped.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel full of unique antique pieces adding to the comfort and charm. Clean, comfortable bed and yummy breakfast. Great location and super friendly staff!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very generous with help and suggestions including a loan of an Ephesus guide book. The beautiful decor and vine wrapped facade made this place very special. It's in a great location next to St John's, the castle and mosque. The free transfer to/from Ephasus was very convenient! His dinner recommendation, Amazon Bistro, was really appreciated as it was away from the touristy areas and also delicious. Unfortunately we missed breakfast, however the rooftop terrace seemed nice.
Cons: We were disappointed that our bed was quite hard and the room very tight with limited capacity for baggage. The wi-fi was also very weak, however as we were only staying the one night it was still great value.

Pros: The rooms are clean..stuff is proffessional..
Cons: hotel is very old..Hotel has been built about 30 years ago....value is higher because of service and ..beer, vodka and soft drinks which are included in all inclusive concept are unquality..
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Silent pool was really silent and calm, in general nice facilities, nice location, wide beach line, unfortunately it was a bit windy and the sea was wavy, ohh almost forgot to mention gozleme was excellent
Cons: I didn't like the cleanliness of the room when we arrived, and we requested an additional deep clean, was provided immediately
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay in Richmond Ephesus. Everything was perfect. We will visit again.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Room was clean but a really bed smell would always come out of the bathroom pipes.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located about 15 min ride from both Ephesus and kusadasi, near beach and fab facilities. Rooms were cleaned religiously and stocked well (toiletries and minibar). It's excellent value for money. Food was great. There were loads of options and they had special meals for kids.
Cons: Reception staff were indifferent to guests, not rude but indifferent. They could use a little smile here and there :) They didn't give us proper information about after lunch snacks (they said it is served in sunset bar but they were only providing juice, even though we specifically mentioned them that we haven't had lunch).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so helpful and friendly.
Cons: The beach had dirty water because of seaweed from the sea. We couldn't swim in the sea and that was disappointing.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The water activity. The verity of kids activities. The kids buffet. The night shows. The spa. The daily food plans for all the guests. The kids club. My family my complain from the poor room cleaning, but my room was cleaned perfectly.
Cons: There was no kettle in the room but they provided me with one after I kept asking for it. There was no iron in the room and even after asking for it for 10 times they still didn't give me one. Few of the stuff were rude. On the other hand the restaurant stuff were the best.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent beach - Friendly staff - Pretty good food
Cons: The rooms are not well lit - I find the hotel a bit expensive considering we went during the off-season
7,5 Good
Pros: Food was great, in particular grill and salads. Relax pool for over 16 years of age is very nice. Animation
Cons: - bad toilet smell around the resort
7,6 Good
Pros: The beach area is very nice here. The two bedroom suites were perfect for our needs, and there don't appear to be many of those within this area of Turkey that we could find.
Cons: The food is not very good at Richmond Ephesus. It is your typical international cuisine buffet that they make for 500+ guests each meal, so the quality suffers. It was without a doubt the worst part of the resort. We ended up driving into Selcuk for most of our meals, only eating the buffet when the timing suited us. If your intent is to explore ruins and the surrounding area, this isn't the place for you. If I go back I'll stay at a hotel within Selcuk for this purpose. If you intend to spend the majority of your time on the beach, then this will work. But why would you go to Selcuk to do that?

Cons: No hot water in morning
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Phenomenal location, the owner was super chatty and nice, great breakfast, lovely roof terrace, comfortable room, great shower. The bar looked nice too, seemed to have a good range of wines, we didn't stay long enough to try though unfortunately.
Cons: A bit of mould in the shower and we had some price drama with the owner's friend who he arranged to take us to Ephesus by taxi.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good location close to the sights and the city center. Ideal choice.
6,8 Good
Pros: The closeness to the railway station and efforts put in by the owner/manager of the property to serve us breakfast even at early morning of 7.30 as we had to catch our flight. That was great gesture, It had not been possible if we were staying at some fancy Hotel.
Cons: When I compare the room with my other stays, booked at other locations from the booking.com, I don't find this one as value for money.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Mr Suleyman was extremely helpful and resourceful. He was helping us with all we need during the stay. This is a family run hotel with very intimate friendly touch. Enjoyed the stay very much. Btw, the Chinese food at the nearby garden restaurant was authentic and very customizable. We requested for extra hot curry and got the wonderful homely taste after that.
Cons: The hotel is a bit old but at the time we were here, they were renovating it. Therefore, things are improving.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Simple hotel but well taken care off... Thanks Michel for the assistance youve always been so helpful, they let us stay in the hotel beyond our check out time while waiting for our ride to the airport...

Pros: The room was large and comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. He called up a taxi for us to drop us at Ephesus at a local price and he also helped us with arranging a bus to Cappadocia from selçuk. He also let us borrow a book with all the info needed on Ephesus so there was no need for a tour guide.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great owner. Very helpfull and informative We also had dinner at the hotel with a beautiful view of the sunset over the hills of Selcuk. The owner even played backgammon with my husband after dinner and taught him a few tricks. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Owner very helpful in booking trips, advise on places to visit, even helped to carry our luggage to bus station.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has a very good location, recognizable and easy to discover. It is located in Selcuk's old historic quarter, where it is a quiet and peaceful place. At the same time, the hotel is only about 300-400 meters from the commercial part, the bus station and the railway station. The hotel has a wonderful view of the terrace of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean, with a balcony. The beds are large and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with hot water and high pressure. There is a good enough breakfast. The hotel has a small restaurant, which offers delicious Turkish cuisine and drinks at good prices. The owners are a wonderful young, intelligent family.Always kind and ready to help. This family is kind, hardworking and memorable. Other staff are also diligent, polite and respectful. There are many historical landmarks in town(Ephesus, the house of Virgin Mary, the fortress and the church of St. Ivan).About 5 km away is the huge and unique beach "Pamucak".About 8 km away is the unique and authentic village "Shirengzhe", an architectural historical reserve with fine wine, including fruit wine.Because of the things listed above and normal prices, it is worthwhile to stay for more days, as we did.

Pros: The hotel itself is very charming. Omar was very helpful.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny. Two people couldnt fit in there at the same time. The location right next to the hotel was not very pleasant. Some of the staff had a very indifferent attitude towards guests and service was lacking.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The property is very comfortable, with a lovely pool. The staff was very helpful and helped me to organize any requests that I had. The breakfast was good. I would recommend staying here.
Cons: I had laundry done here and was charged $20 USD for it, which was over the top expensive. It would have been nice if the staff would have told me that it was going to cost so much.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The swimming pool and the localisation. The kindness of the people who work there.
Cons: A bit hot in the bedroom as there is no aeration in the bathroom but you have Aircon.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool is lovely and the grounds surrounding it. There is also a mix of random animals, a turtle, a talking bird and a “grumpy” cat among them roaming the place. Room is small but bed is very comfortable and air conditioner works well.
Cons: A very small complaint, but the top sheet provided on the bed isn’t soft and smooth. Bathroom is really small.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Room was fairly clean Breakfast was ok
Cons: Staff very rude. Rooms were bloody hot, airco insufficient to cool them down. Photos are not fair, rooms seem bigger than they are. Location is ugly. They confirmed our transfer to the airport but then the driver wasn't there. We needed to look for a taxi at 3am (although fare was fixed and 20% cheaper than the one of the hotel).

Pros: The view. Staff were attentive and friendly. The price is fair.
Cons: The property isn’t like it’s shown especially the pool area and reception which are pretty unkempt and dismal. The location is great for the view but tricky for visiting town. We didn’t have hot water one morning & no extra toilet paper though we could have asked for it.

6,0 Good
Pros: The 108 year old, little house was charming and located next to the St. John's church and overlooking the aquaduct ruins. The owner was extremely knowledgable and informative and fluent in english having studied in England. Very convenient location. Meena (munnavar), the cook cum receptionist cum all in one was a darling and most helpfull.
Cons: The steep staircase, especially if you have heavy bags !
5,0 Okay
Pros: The Naz Han is nicely decorated. The bed and shower were acceptable.
Cons: We found that the host was not very helpful or hospitable. We requested other towels because the ones in the room were like napkins and not very absorbent. The breakfast had the least amount of food of any place that we stayed in Turkey. We ended up staying at the Hotel Bella the next night which is next door. The roomwas better, the manager was extremely helpful, and the price was 40 TL cheaper.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Warm staff
6,7 Good
Pros: Comfortable and tastefully decorated room accessed from a small courtyard where an ample breakfast was served.
4,7 Okay
Pros: Hotel location, kindness of personnel, breakfast area.
Cons: Our chambers was essentially a wooden building extension made on top terrace (flat roof). It was very small, noisy, reachable through a narrow stair, over two levels. All of this may well be acceptable, but it was not predictable from the hotel description at booking time.
6,7 Good
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Location perfect. Breakfast delicious, organic products. Knew the area very well and helped with our site seeing arrangements.Great for those wishing to experience a family run house hotel.

Pros: Nice quiet location, up the hill away from the main busy part of town, but very close to walk to. Short walk to bus station for dolmus to Ephesus, Sirince. Swallows nesting on outside of building :) Lovely view of sunset from terrace. We left a phone on the bus from the airport and the manager was very helpful and tried to phone the bus company (we did get the phone back when we waved the bus down on its returm journey!). Selcuk is a lovely place - look up to see the storks perched on the street lamps!
Cons: Private bathroom is a wet room and shower is right next to toilet which gets wet - we just made sure we took the toilet roll out of the room and put the seat up while we were showering and it was fine. Wifi signal in room not great, but worked well in reception area where there are comfy sofas.
