Not within walking distance of the main area of town where all the restaurants, shops and galleries are, but each room has a porch or balcony with a beautiful view of red rocks. Room was spacious, and handicapped accessible, with large roll-in shower, and ramps to get to slightly elevated first floor rooms. Breakfast starts at 7:30. Pros (+) This was our second stay at the Southwest Inn. We like the room size (2 queens but still a good amount of space to move around) and the bathroom area is oversized with double sinks and plenty of counter space. Breakfast is good. Pros (+) Breakfast area was clean, food choices were healthy and fresh. Staff was was helpful, thorough and consistently friendly and willing to please. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great location for one day trips to enjoy the scenic, historic and natural beauty of the area without being in the main hub of downtown city.
