Pros (+) The rooms themselves aren’t bad. I slept well during the night as I left the patio door open to cool the room down since there is no A/C. It’s an older hotel with a definite “small sea town” vibe, and the staff are quite pleasant to talk to. There was a “cookie reception” for 2 hours! Who doesn’t love free cookies?! They do offer free DVD rentals during the stay. Finally, the location is fantastic...
Cons (-) I booked this hotel for 2 main reasons: they had a pool AND they had a free breakfast. The pool. Was. Disgusting. Clumps of hair floating around and sand all over the bottom of the pool. Maybe they just clean it once a week and we just arrived on the last day before they cleaned it? Pros (+) It was such a nice family place: indoor pool/hot tub, small kitchenette in room, cookies when we arrived, ocean view, close to downtown Seaside and AWESOME staff. We loved the stay and place to always book our future beach vacation stays there. They get an A+ overall for everything. Pros (+) We had a 3rd floor room. The view was wonderful. The beds and linens very comfortable. There was a mini kitchen and free breakfast. Our room was very clean. The pool area nice and they supplied pool towels. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons (-) The bathroom,closet area was a bit small for us. We could have used more counter space overall.

Pros (+) The staff were very friendly, they had cookies from 7-10 pm and the rooms were clean. I will be staying here again in future travels. The walk from the hotel to the beach and downtown was very convenient. Will recommend this place to anyone.
Cons (-) As it stated on the checklist, my room did not come with a/c however they did provide a fan. That's the only con for this hotel :)
