Pros (+) The rooms themselves aren’t bad. I slept well during the night as I left the patio door open to cool the room down since there is no A/C. It’s an older hotel with a definite “small sea town” vibe, and the staff are quite pleasant to talk to. There was a “cookie reception” for 2 hours! Who doesn’t love free cookies?! They do offer free DVD rentals during the stay. Finally, the location is fantastic...
Cons (-) I booked this hotel for 2 main reasons: they had a pool AND they had a free breakfast. The pool. Was. Disgusting. Clumps of hair floating around and sand all over the bottom of the pool. Maybe they just clean it once a week and we just arrived on the last day before they cleaned it?
