It's a serene place to stay, the host is kind and very helpful, the room is spacious, breakfast was great too, the place is close to the lake, Also, there is a free parking space within the premises The hotel provides the Red Card which makes it more attractive, especially if you want to go to the attractions it offers or you're coming with kids - it saves a lot of money
The couches in the room are worn out and need to be replaced there is no elevator, keep it in mind

A perfect family hotel to stay in the black forest. We stayed in an apartment for four persons for a week. The apartment was well equipment and was cleaned perfectly every day. The owner was there every day and gave us the best recommendations and guidance for activities and interesting points in the black forest. Absolutely adorable.

Lots of choice for breakfast including eggs, homemade bread, pastries, yoghurt and much more. We had a quadruple room which had loads of space with a lounge area separate from the bedrooms along with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Everything was spotless and the owners very helpful: if we needed help with anything they were happy to advise. Dont expect any signs/menus/tourist info in the area to be in English, everything is in German but we found the locals to be very friendly and speak English freely once you speak to them
