The location is close to a beautiful park and to the centre of the city.
Although, almost everything was perfect, however, found that some friends who booked much later got a better rate, plus a better room which was facing more to the park as opposed to the main street!
The rooms were very attractive, comfortable and beautifully maintained. The hotel was remarkably quiet (given its location) and perfectly located: next to a lovely park, and within easy walking distance of the cathedral and downtown shopping. There's no on-site parking, but hotel has an arrangement with a nearby parking garage, and brought our car to us when we left. The best feature of this hotel, however, is the staff. What charming, helpful and attentive service we received! For example, my husband happened to mention to the desk clerk that he liked the Spanish tradition of hot chocolate and churros. She promptly replied that they would arrange to have hot chocolate and churros for him the next morning, and they did!
There was some noise from the street, probably made worse by the fact that it was the beginning of the new academic year and the University is a block from the Cathedral: Iberian universities have had elaborate rituals for incoming students, including street marches, since the Middle Ages. Also, the hotel has no restaurant, serving only breakfast (at 3 "levels" of breakfast, from coffee & bread to the Spanish equiv. of "full English), and they are amazingly flexible about the "set hours": we were offered breakfast at noon! Excellent restaurants are within a five minute walk, however.
The fabulous rating on your site is perfect.
The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. The hotel was situated near a park in a quiet, yet very central area.
Location of this hotel is perfect as attractions are walking distance. Staffs were very helpful and took care of the car and was parked without any inconvenience.
Rooms are quite small and cramped. Bathroom is also very small. The A/C didn’t work properly.
very close to the city centre, underground car park nearby and next to pleasant city park
The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the Alameda, close to the old city. The staff are helpful and friendly. An excellent choice.
Very helpful people, good location, clean room, not too expensive
Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room, very clean.
Can be a little noisy from road traffic, but this is Spain and in a large town. So it isn't really a critisism.
