Nice boutique hotel close to the beach. Clean. Great staff. Very hospitable general manager. Will definitely stay again here rather than in the chain hotels.

Pros (+) Everything was so easy to check in, park, and right when you leave the hotel you're in the middle of the best shops, wine stops and restaurants that are on State Street. It's also a two-minute walk to a breakfast shop, the beach, and the pier. I felt very safe at, and walking to/from, the hotel. Pros (+) The hotel has a great location next to the train station, only a block from PCH, and a block away from downtown. Also nice that it's pet friendly. Staff was very nice and helpful. Come for the cost, stay for the real estate.
Cons (-) The hotel is very small with tiny rooms and limited amenities. There is also about 180 degrees of construction happening in front of the hotel. They also have the condensed 5' x 5' hybrid bathrooms that wets 60% of the room after a shower.
