We had a junior suite that faced a busy street and were worried about the noise, but the sound-proofing was amazing - we didn't hear a thing!!

Cons: There are only 3 parking spaces, so if you wish to have a car, then make sure you book the space. Another guest had booked a space, but did not use it, so fortunately we were able to park our car.

The room was in theory one of the smallest ones but it was still spacious, comfortable and with a beautiful view! The location was perfect, right in the centre of the city, perfect walking distance from everything Despite usually liking a more minimal aesthetic I found the hotel and the room very beautiful We were able to eat quite a lot of things at the breakfast buffet despite being both vegan! We were also happy about the private parking and the fact that they accepted dogs!

The staff was sometimes a bit rude, a staff member st the pool was a bit rude in replying to a question about towels, and the breakfast staff was a bit average, especially considering the level of the hotel, it felt more like that of a cafe

The pool area is moldy. The pool bed cushions are moldy. The pool is horrible. The pool is missing large sections of tile. The wood decking near the pool is uneven and in disrepair. The paint on the exterior of the building is peeling and the upper floor is missing large areas of paint.

Cons: A nearby pub/nightclub had loud music blaring the 2 nights we were there until 1am each nights which made it really difficult to sleep early. Also, the balcony in the twin room we were given was really tiny just about fitting the 2 chairs so not very comfortable to be on, would have prefered a bigger one.

Cons: The hotel is not that easy to get to and you can't drive your car in front of the place. However, they take care of your car and take it away to some parking lot and if you want to use the car again it takes 10 minutes and they will bring it back to you. Actually a very good service but parking at the hotel would be much easier.

Cons: The WIFI appeared to be unusable: if at all you managed to connect, the bandwidth appeared not good enough. I had to use my roaming package instead. The lift made dangerous noises and was slow, causing long waits. Therefore I often took the stairs instead. Due to the street noise I had to sleep with the window closed and with the airconditioning on, which was OK. The room was 20 m2 as advertised, but this is much smaller than it appears on the pictures.

Pros: We stayed here for the second night of our visit to San Remo after moving from the event hotel of the cycle event we'd been involved in. This hotel was far better than that one. It was clean, with enough room for us after we were able to store our bike boxes in a secure storage room. The rooms aircon was quieter and managed to keep the room at a comfortable temperature without keeping us awake at night. The shower is however very small but was cleaned well with shower gels provided. Breakfast was nice, choice of cereals and croissants, breads, jams, cheeses, scrambled egg, ham, beans, yogurts and fruit plus some things I am probably forgetting. Coffee or Tea had to be requested as was freshly made but was topped up if you wanted and there was a machine for fruit juices and water. The staff were also very friendly and helpful especially with the bike boxes we had. They recommended some good places to eat and drink during our evening.

When we arrived the room had been set up as a double - we had requested a twin room - this was no problem, and this was changed immediately, while the lovely lady Manager made us a welcome cup of tea.. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, the room was slightly small, but adequate, the location of the Hotel excellent, the room was kept immaculately clean and the bed very comfy. We built the holiday ourselves, and although we travelled from Nice to San Remo on the train, we decided to go back on the Flixbus (wished we knew this on the way down - on the internet they tell you to catch a 99 bus to the station which does not exist !!). The other Manager booked this for us and it cost just 10 euros for us both, brilliant, very much better than the train, and the scenery is to die for, something to remember if you travel this route.

Pros: Great placement with gorgeous sea views (we appreciated being upgraded to the sea view with balcony without extra cost upon arrival). Staff is professional. Very helpful cleaning service that provided extra sheet immediately upon request and room was perfectly clean, which we appreciate the most.
Cons: Hotel desperately needs a renovation - too old amenities in the room and upgrades have been clearly done haphazardly and with poor eye to quality (paint on the balcony floor, for example!). While we sought beds for 4 we really only had beds for 3 and a fold-out couch that was so uncomfortable and poorly dressed - just 1 sheet on top of the couch where people sit all the time- GROSS! It's not a bed - there was a hole in the middle where the clic-clack folds - was the worst night I ever spent in a hotel due to this.

Pros: Location was good and the breakfast was very tasty with a good variety to choose from.
Cons: The room provided was not the one shown in the booking photos in spite or the photo saying Actual Room. this is standard practice in Italian hotels. Fire door on the 4th floor was tied half open blocking access to the staircase down. Having untied and closed the door, half an hour later it was tied open again. This is a definite no no!

Pros: Set up on a hill offering very pleasant views.
Cons: last minute booking, but placed in an attic room that had just been refurbished to a basic standard with no lift access and still unfinished works, shower was terrible and although room was huge it had low beams all over ensuring all four of us had our share of bumps on the head. Avoid the top floor!

Cons: Poor service at check in, no information on hotel services or the resort itself, bedroom poorly equipped, bathroom tatty with unhygienic shower curtain. Air con locked at 26 degrees. Scruffy breakfast, clearly 2 classes of visitor. Parking chaotic. Hotel had few facilities for its 4 stars.

Pros: The location and great Air Conditioning! It was our Anniversary and the hotel surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a lovely basket of fresh fruit!
Cons: That There was no body when we arrived to help with the luggage, (the steps and there are several to climb) are quite steep and when you are lugging heavy luggage not a fun way to start the stay.

Cons: The receptionist they seem to lack information about the guest request and room (they are not well organized), and hopefully of they get stressed they won’t show it to their guests.The staffs are not quiet good,they’re not smiling, their faces seemed to be irritated when you ask or need something... And last! Our bathroom was not good enough for a 4star hotel suite ,maybe an upgrade? And the frigde in the room contained only 2 bottles of water and 1 chocolate bar!

Cons: Its a very old outdated place. It looks like they did not even paint since the 70s. It's uphill and out of reach from everything, the pool was dirty and everything, in general, was old used and broken... Will not return for sure.
