NOTHING. I DIDNT EVEN STAY THERE! I left

These fukkers are attempting to charge a $250 deposit for a god damned ghetto $68 room! It’s asanine and its because you need to tell people that it’s a “Homeless, crack head- Frkkin hotel!!” And it’s a Scam. The god damned ritzy Carlton doesn’t even charge a $250 deposit and I am Doing a chargeback because the whole thing is a shitty scam. I bailed because it’s a homeless Ghetto Scam and is not At all What it’s advertised as. I will Get my $$$ Back. It’s BULLSHIT and is geared towards wayward homeless Guys with no credit and who got no integrity.

    fire hazard

The price was definitely cheap and it is in a central location. The room seemed pretty clean, the linens had some stains. The manager was very nice and responded quickly.

You have to carry your luggage up two narrow staircases. The hallways are covered with dirty carpets and it smells like people are smoking in there. We only stayed for one night although we had already payed two more nights and we were glad to be out of there. It does not seem safe in case of a fire or an emergency, you are trapped. Everything seems old and I would not be sure that anything is up to code in there. Our room had a view of an alley filled with groups of homeless people. When you walk out, you pass by people lighting their crack. Maybe for a one night stay of only adults, definitely not safe for children.

    Sufficient for one night

I was mainly looking for a place to stay that was a decent price and close to the ferry building (where the start of the San Fransisco Marathon was) and close to public transportation to get me to the building and it delivered. Only a short walk away from Markrt St. buses and the BART. The gentleman who checked me in was very pleasant a accommodating. And the price compared to other places equi-distance or closer was WAY cheaper. The room was fine, on the smaller side, but for a single person you don't need much more.

The price was definitely cheaper for a reason. The linens were a bit dodgy but again for a night complete bearable and the bathroom situation a bit odd (one only had a toilet so you had to walk to the other one to wash your hands). I would recommend bringing shower shoes. Definitely a unique hotel experience as the welcome foyer is nonexistent you just buzz in and go up the stairs to a manager in the office. I also had some miscommunication with the staff, since I was running the SF marathon in the morning I arranged for aster check out time when I checked in but it wasn't shared with the other staff members so I got a phone call around 11:30 telling me to hurry up and get out, not exactly pleasant and the woman on the other end was not at all understanding or willing to work with me. Overall, for one night, it was sufficient and did the job. The most concerning factor was the location, while near public transportation options, I would recommend walking quickly everywhere in the surrounding area (Tenderloin) because it's littered with shady characters and frankly smells.
