I loved the location! The room was clean which was great. They cleaned it every day. Of course, it wasn't a 5-star hotel but it met our expectations. We didn't expect any luxuries, we just wanted to have a clean and comfortable place to sleep so it was great for us. Also, we didn't have to pay for the parking spot which helped a lot because it's super expensive to park in San Francisco.
One big minus was a bad smell. We don't really know what was that but we were getting used to it after a few minutes.
Great location and is definitely undertaking some promising upgrades since last visit. On site parking is definitely a major positive! Would always return despite the negatives listed below as they seem to be based around current renovations taking place.
Upgrades were currently in work. Our room had partial work complete with the roof looking replaced and restructured. No ceiling light in the room though with an influx of lamps placed throughout the room. Issue with this is you have to walk around and turn each light on and off individual to obtain sufficient light in the room. Ice machine was also out of action. Graffiti also present in the room underneath one of the lap shades besides the bed. Notified staff upon check out.
The breakfast is basically non-existent. Coffee and some packed stuff from a shop.
problems with WiFi. never hooked up. it showed it was but will disconnect. the stairs down were not lighted up, dark walking down.
