To get a hold of front desk for help took too long and the price was not worth the stay. 300 plus
Being able to walk out and be part of everything. Returning to cozy comfort.
Difficulty at entrance. Instructions when checking in.
The staff was kind and helpful. The food in the local restaurant is good. The room was quite a bit larger than most rooms for the same price in the city. Air conditioning / heating is the best I’ve seen anywhere, if a bit loud. The beds are comfortable.
The windows were really dirty, covered in bird poo. Every time the refrigerator started up I thought someone rang a door bell - it was really loud. I had a coffee machine in the room, but only got sugar and something to stir my coffee on my last day. I bought my own sugar way before that. Soundproofing wasn’t really good - every day I woke up before 8 to someone packing and leaving early. Premium internet is a third of the speed you’d get anywhere for free but here they charge 9.95 per day per device. The connection window says it’s pay once for all your devices, but I had to explicitly ask the staff to remove all duplicate charges. Because of that I got Internet for free, but it would have been charged multiple times if I don’t speak up - be sure to pay attention to that. It’s not a bad hotel at all, but there are so many quirks...
Room looked tired/well-used. Shower did no drain well and was heavily calcified
Dated interior. Harsh lighting.
As its name implies, the HYATT Centric Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco is steps from the famed Fisherman’s Wharf district of San Francisco. That places visitors steps from such destinations as Lombard Street, Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square and Coit Tower. It is also close to Union Square, the Financial District, the Presidio and Marina District. That makes it an ideal choice for those traveling for business as well as for a leisurely exploration of the famed city. Only 12 miles from the Oakland and San Francisco airports, it is three miles from the Golden Gate Bridge and an easy reach to the many other areas surrounding the city.
In addition to offering a nearly unbeatable location in San Francisco, the hotel is also an amenities-rich destination. Pet-friendly, it features such appealing options as a full business services center, meeting and event spaces, a concierge, a modern and fully equipped fitness center, a pool, and a gourmet restaurant right on the premises. Guests can enjoy convenient parking (for a fee), shuttle services, an on site mini market, laundry and shoe cleaning, and free WiFi throughout.
The rooms take their design cues from the seaside setting and use nautical themes of rich blue and creamy white. All of the rooms or suites are furnished with signature Hyatt Grand Beds and offer amazing views, spa-like bathrooms with premium toiletries, large HDTVs with cable services, a work desk or sitting area, mini-fridge and hot beverage station.
Sitting close to the water but in the heart of the city’s most popular neighborhoods and districts, the HYATT Centric Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco is a good find whether it is your first or hundredth visit to the city.
