Check in was not good. Second time that I have come to this hotel, selected a room just to arrive and be given another room with no explanation. Was told finally after some pushback that the room wasn’t clean and wouldn’t be ready for at least a hour. I opted to wait and get the room I wanted vs. a room on a lower floor facing a fence. No one mentioned breakfast or any amenities. Definitely didn’t feel valued as a Hilton member at check in. On 4th floor, hallway carpet badly stained and wallpaper was peeling in some areas. Had someone stop by to visit and I’m sad to say I was embarrassed with the excessive stains in the hallway. Room was ok but dated. You can tell it’s time for a redo of the rooms. Cracks in walls, bad paint job on ceiling from leak, rust and mildew in corners of the shower. Housekeeping staff was friendly and was good service. At breakfast, food was good, nice selection and staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was closed most of the time, planned to use but by the time it reopened it was time to leave (very disappointed especially since SA was hitting 102 degrees daily) one elevator was down half the time and ice machine was out of order. Stayed for 7 days and thank goodness most of the time was spent around the city and not in the room. I’ve stayed at this hotel for years on business and vacation but I’m sad to say that it will be the last time.
Pros:Very spacious
Pros:The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Liked having a fridge and microwave. Staff was all very friendly. Hotel close to lots of restaurants, shopping and the airport.
Cons:Room was handicap accessible and the shower floor was completely flat with no barrier to keep the water from going all over the bathroom floor.
Pros:Approximately 25 minutes from Lackland AFB for those traveling for BMT graduation. 4 restaurants within walking distance and a Walmart for snacks and drinks in the room. Full size fridge and microwave. 12pm checkout was nice, and just a few miles from the airport. There was no jet noise however. Easy on and off 410 loop.

Pros:From the lobby, elevators, hallways and to the rooms, everything was perfect. Very modern and clean. My room was spotless, my bed was soft and comfortable. The linens blanketed my soul and warmed my heart as well as my body. I enjoyed my stay very much.
