Hotel Kaiserquelle

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was plentiful, in addition, the rooms and public areas were very clean and the self-catering room we stayed in was very well equipped.

This is NOT a 3-star hotel, all accreditation/awards on display are ancient. The whole hotel (although clean) needs to be updated. Our bedroom had a mirrored ceiling and large pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley on the walls - bizarre! The restaurant was closed (to us) as they had a private function in - we feel the hotel should have notified us of this prior to our arrival as there was nowhere else to eat in the area - they did let us order in a pizza delivery though and allowed us to eat it in the restaurant, for which we were grateful. Sadly the private function ran very late and the staff then stayed to rearrange all the tables/chairs - not a problem for us, we were in a separate building, but our son's room was in the basement beneath the restaurant so he barely slept. At over 200 euros for one night it's not worth the money.
