Pros (+) Clean, staff very helpful, 10 min to walk to everything, breakfast really really good.
Cons (-) Parking was a down side but hotel has an agreement with a parking garage down the street to park at a discount.
Pros (+) Markus Sittikus is a very cozy, charming and friendly hotel near the Mirabell Garden in Salzburg. Nice boutique rooms, good value for the price. It was a bit of an inconvenience to not have a desk attendant at night, as I arrived after 10pm. I was redirected to the front desk at a sister hotel a few blocks away. Beyond that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Pros (+) My wife and I had never been to Salzburg but chose Hotel Markus Sittikus based on its location and price. Overall we were very pleased with our choice. The price was one of the most reasonable we were able to find in central Salzburg, and we felt the combination of price and location was just right for us. Cons (-) The only downside to the hotel is that the interior and rooms seem to be a little bit dated. The lobby, sitting room, and other communal areas were comfortable but could really use some updates. The bedroom was also comfortable but felt like it hadn't been updated since the '90's.
