The staff were super friendly, the room was beautiful! Huge comfortable bed, the walk in shower was a dream too, I love those! Sitting out in the afternoon on the balcony with the sun hitting you with a glass of wine was most relaxing. We visited off season, mainly due to seeing a band in Barcelona then travelling to Salou to see a friend, meaning most the restaurants and bars nearby were closed (which is good because they are English style bars, English tourist food....unlike a lot of idiot English people I didn't come to Spain to eat English food) so we ventured inland and found some real beautiful local restaurants, wine bars and cocktail bars selling FRESH LOCAL food and beautiful local wine. Personally I would prefer to visit off season again, so much more relaxing.
The absence of a kettle in the room was the main issue. The spa & gym hours were also slightly frustrating along with the pool that was said to be heated, wasn't. Everything else was lovely.

We have stayed at the hotel about 6 times as it's an ideal place for us to stay when we are travelling to or from Bilbao as it's about half way. We have never been disappointed with the hotel.
There is nothing that I can think off that we didn't like about the hotel

The space in the rooms was great and the breakfast was simple but with a lot of choice and good quality.
The room was cold as heating was only activated once the key card is plugged and in a rather cold evening, the room took a while before heating up.
