Pros: A delightful property set in lovely gardens a short walk to a small beach and a short drive into town. The owner Daniela was always on hand and couldn't do enough to make our stay a great one. The room was large, bright and peaceful, overlooking a well kept pool. Though we were staying in the height of the tourist season the Begude was an oasis of calm and acted as a great base to visit the area.

Cons: St Tropez itself is accessible by car only with difficulty, and the hotel is virtually inaccessible by a visitor in a car. This is inconvenient, but an excellent solution is to park in Ste Maxime port, take a boat across the Bay for less than for 10 euro, and step on to the quay a 200m walk from the hotel.

Cons: The staff seemed surprised to see my sister and me arrive for our double, considering that we are 18 and 19 and perhaps they are not used to receiving such young clientele. They proceeded to shove us in the worst room they had (right next to the reception and the door's lock didn't work), after saying our original room had a minor "cleaning problem" even though there wasn't an issue when we dropped our bags off at the beginning. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Also. There was BLACK HAIR all over the bathroom!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Cons: At the end of the season there is limited bar facilities during the week- but small price to pay as there are plenty of restaurants and bars and cafes immediately next door.

Pros: A Lovely hotel with attentive staff. The welcome was nice/comforting and the rooms was lovely, clean and air conditioned. The pools are lovely, with great views. The food both Breakfast and lunch were very good and the staff are very happy to help. Great place to stay in St Tropez. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: On arrival we are informed about a buffet breakfast - there was a lot of choice. It would have been helpful if it was made clear that a cooked breakfast is available on request we found out by accident.

Cons: Thin walls, every night I could hear either baby’s crying or couples engaging in nightly exercises. The music at the bar was so loud we woke up to it in the morning. Beds very small and slightly uncomfortable. There is definitely better places for that money in st tropez..

Pros: Youthful trendy vibe, we stayed in a room that overlooked The Tigre outdoor lounge/club, and a private Garden. The location is prime. St Tropez was so charming, this hotel was steps away from all the action, restaurants, people watching, and shops. I liked the breakfast served in the outdoor lounge area overlooking historic St. Tropez. Charming, nice staff. I got a good laugh watching the cooing doves flip their personality and mimic the aggressive screeching sounds of the seagulls to compete with them for food scraps on the vacant tables. It was priceless to watch sweet little doves talk sea gull! During the day No traffic sounds, just sounds of birds, wind in trees, and ocean. Bathroom is vintage, but was the cleanest bathroom we experienced on our road trip!

Pros: Great location, especially based on the price. Just a 5 minute walk down the hill to the port, less than 2 minutes walk to the shopping area and plenty of bars/restaurants nearby. Hotel is also accessible by car, which some of the hotels in the old town are not. Terrace had a great vibe, good music, delicious Japanese food and very friendly staff. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Cons: Steep stairs hard to haul luggage. However the staff jumped in to help. A little loud at night because of outdoor club chatter, but I was so tired it did not bother me too much. They had provided complimentary ear plugs which I liked.

Cons: - Paying for parking in low season is a bit overrated, in high season I understand more; - Very noisy, even while we stayed on the second floor, especially on Thursday during a karaoke night. Unbelievable that it exists in a hotel in St Tropez, Karaoke night; - We booked a standard room for 6 nights and got a very very small room without separate bathroom, the shower and sink was open in the bedroom. When we asked for a normal standard room we had to pay extra while we were the only guests left in the hotel.
