Pros: Great staff checked us in. Very helpful with tips and recommendation. The ferry is 30 sec drive away or 2-5 min walk depending which ferry company you book with to Mackinac Island. Free breakfast & great pools. The bed was comfortable & the Room was clean. The room we book had a lakeview which was pretty & watch the sunrise each morning from the balcony.
Cons: The parking was pretty full. The building we were assigned to was like a motel style building which I don't like because it feel unsafe. The price per night for the room was a little too much.

Pros: Cleanliness, check-in, Checkout, breakfast everything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and clean. Hotel location was excellent - within walking distance to Shepler's ferry to the island. Nice and quiet in the evening, too. Breakfast bar had a good variety of hot & cold breakfast items, and they kept it well stocked all through the morning.
Cons: The only issue I had was our shower valve was difficult to turn on and off - very hard to pull on/push off, but I got it working. No other issues beyond the valve.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and updated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Good breakfast. Good location. Good in room coffee
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very satisfying. Very good "continental breakfast" which is supposed to be a light breakfast by definition.
Cons: Although my room was VERY clean and comfortable, it did not have the desk and chair that was pictured and expected. I did see the description which warned that the room may not be exactly as pictured before I booked. I still didn't imagine that my room would be without a place to sit and eat or put my laptop. But, the comfortable night's rest made up for this minor discomfort :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very clean and the hotel in general was clean. Free breakfast was very good also
Cons: The first room we were given someone had smoked in, which isn’t the hotels fault but it smelled so we called and asked them to move us to another room and they happily moved us. The 2nd room was great

Pros: Very quaint, eclectic rooms. Staff was very friendly, professional and courteous.
Cons: Really liked the breakfast room. They had a toaster on every table which helped speed things along.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was simple but adequate.
Cons: Our room was on the street and there was quite a bit of street noise. We spoke with another guest whose room was on the side and her experience was not the same. If we stay there again, we will probably opt for a room NOT on the street.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location comfortable room feels more like a home than a hotel
Cons: only improvements we'd recommend would be an earlier breakfast and a mini fridge in the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: There is nothing not to like about the lnn, its owners are so kind and thoughtful. The hotel was built in 1928.
Cons: It's in excellent condition and the rooms are so clean. The Inn offers two bedrooms that accommodated my sister and brother 'n law and myself.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location across from the lake and 'boardwalk' was perfect! The Inn is walking distance to many nice stores and a quick drive (or walk) to fun restaurants and the ferry docks. AND... we had an excellent, surprise view of the annual Tractor Parade! Kayla & Jim, the owners, were our very gracious hostess & host! Thank you for making the St. Ignace part of our trip a great experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming old hotel. The owners of the hotel for the last 17 years were helpful with answering questions about the town, the restaurants, ferry options and parking, etc.

5,1 Okay
Pros: The rooms were quite clean.
Cons: I get that lodging in Mackinaw City is hard to come by on summer weekends, but this was way too expensive for what we got. The hotel wi-fi was nonfunctional, presumably because our room was too far from the single router in the office. If I ever stay in Mackinaw City again, I'll be sure to make reservations farther ahead of time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality. Location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: very very clean and friendly
Cons: NA
10,0 Excellent
Pros: n/a
Cons: Everything was great. No complaints
6,3 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean
Cons: The management could have broken up the large M.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, clean, parking, near the bridge.
Cons: We reserved a room with a queen bed weeks in advance. When we got there, the only thing that was available was a room with 2 fulls. Probably no big deal, but the bathroom was handicap accessible with large door, arm support modifications for the toilet, but a tub rather than a shower.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are the nicest people ever, very clean, very homey.
Cons: It all was great!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: breakfast not offered at hotel.
Cons: Grab bars in bathroom
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was so friendly and helpful. He recommended good restaurants and told us about some great local attractions. From the outside it looks like an old style motor hotel, but the insides are modern and impeccably clean! Much better than an impersonal hotel chain.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were super nice. Our room was cleaned everyday. We have no complaints at all. It was close enough to walk to the local shops and the ferry ride.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This vintage motel was big & roomy. I'm not sure if it has always been this well-maintained, or if it was restored during a renovation... It looks "old" but it feels / smells / seems new. It was like being in a time warp, except the beds and water pressure were better, there was a fridge, and we couldn't hear the neighbors! The owners were on-site, helpful, and friendly. My husband and I are 60s and 70s kids, so we thought it was fabulous!
Cons: Honestly, there is nothing I did not like about this place. We're DEFINITELY staying here again on our next trip north; I'm not even shopping around!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place was a great find for me a few years ago and I have only stayed here twice I really would not stay any other place. The owners are wonderful people, rooms are clean and comfortable.
Cons: Everything was excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly. Very clean. Would highly recommend.
Cons: No plug in bathroom
7,0 Good
Pros: Location and staff
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location for Shepherds ferry . Nice sheets towels . Comfortable bed . Quiet .
Cons: Bathroom needs work . Tub area dark spots toilet needs upgrade .
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was warm and welcoming. I was instantly charmed by the hotel when I was handed a real key with the room number on the fob! We were walking distance to downtown. Beds very comfortable. Having a refrigerator and microwave was a nice bonus.
Cons: Would have liked a coffee pot in the room. The office was close by, and the coffee was kept hot and fresh, I just resented having to get dressed and go outside before I had my coffee. Just a personal grumpy issue.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremity high but the rail and platform under it stuck out so I cloud use it to get onto the bed.. (I'm short) Like the quaintness and oldfashionness of the whole area..
Cons: People today travel with a number of electronic gadget e that need to be plugged in and charged. There are never enough outlets.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: The cleaniness of the room was not good. Old carpet, need to upgrade mattresses, tile on bathroom floor was old, cracked and dirty. Bathtub was old and stained and the worst was the shower curtain had mold on it.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: was none
Cons: the place was a dump, would never stay there again, bugs all over the door, the walls, and all over the bed.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly. Convenient location to walk to the ferries and a couple restaurants. Ice machine outside.
Cons: This place is old. It must have been built in the 50’s or 60’s. Although the outside has been updated, the inside, at least of room 9, desperately needs more updating. Rather than leaving a laundry list of what should be done, let’s just say if you want comfort and amenities, this may not be the place for you. While it wasn’t terrible because of the friendly staff and cleanliness, I would not stay here again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I didn't stay for breakfast. Rooms clean but old. Bed very comfy though! Office person kind and efficient.
Cons: The room was a bit stale smelling...perhaps it needed a new carpet. Also bed blanket and quilt needed upgrading. However the bed was comfortable and clean. It just could use a face lift.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Cute, quaint and clean. Very good price
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Old-fashioned roadside Americana motel. Exactly what I was looking for. Clean, cozy, and safe. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again. Owners Francie and John were wonderful. We enjoyed the fire pit very much. Excellent location if you're taking the ferry to Mackinac Island.
Cons: Cautions for guests: Room had only one nightstand, two would be nice. A lamp on the nightstand would also be helpful. No coffee maker in the room, but it's only a few steps to the office for hot coffee. No breakfast but I recommend Bentley's B-M-L cafe and Java Joe's in St. Ignace. Also, be mindful of your shins around the platform bed! Ouch--but I'm clumsy, lol.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Smaller rooms and bathtub looked dirty and the grout around the bottom of the wall looked gross and in need of a good cleaning.

Cons: I cant think of a thing!!!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were quite clean and recently updated
Cons: The hallways and lobby areas are tired and in need of renovation.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Overall this is a great place to stay. They had a big lawn overlooking the marina where we could sit and enjoy some downtown while enjoying an amazing view. We had a fabulous time at the 1852 Grill Room for dinner. The rooms are a bit small but that's to be expected of a hotel built in the 1850's. My parents room was a queen bed with a sofa. Cute and quaint. My sister and I shared a double queen room. Perfect size for the both of us but it would be small if you had 4 adults. Hot tub was nice and hot and open until 11pm! We could rent bikes right at the hotel. Overall a 5 star rating for my experience.
Cons: Our room was right by the stairs which got a bit noisy in the morning. When I stay again I will ask for a room on the top floor or away from the stairs.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: beautiful ambiance. lovely room overlooking the water. Delightful restaurant with excellent food.
Cons: Our room was on the 4th floor and we had to walk up one flight of stairs, which was unexpected.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Even at the outer edges of the season Mackinac Island is a busy place. The Island House Hotel is very old and moderately grand but is convenient, friendly and comfortable, a short walk from either ferry terminal. It isn’t cheap and it is a bit tattered around the edges but the small dormer room we had was very clean with a comfortable bed and a very pleasant view.
Cons: The hallways look like a cheap motel with peeling wallpaper and, for my taste, far too much pink.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was able to accommodate our request for early check-in which was much appreciated! We loved the heated pool & hot tub
Cons: Breakfast included
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was fabulous and the room was very comfortable.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good--just out of the hustle and bustle of the crowd but close enough to be in the action at a moments notice. Reception personnel were very accommodating and helpful (Brionn in particular).
Cons: The room was very odd to manouver around and the one bed was very accident prone with its closeness to the side wall and ceiling configuration. The other problem was being on the 4th floor--- was a challenge for seniors to get to with the inclusion of a steep stair case.
6,7 Good
Pros: What breakfast? No breakfast was offered.
Cons: The Ice House BBQ was very disappointing. High prices for very little food. Food was bland and unappetizing. Peach sangria was completely tasteless.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The Inn sits on the quieter side of island with great views of the bridge from the property.
Cons: It's about a 40 to 45 minute horse carriage ride from the pier where you are dropped off by the ferry to the Inn.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds and loved that it was away from all the craziness of the Main Street! Wish I would have brought my own bike as the brakes on the one I rented from the Inn were questionable and it's downhill all the way to the Harbor. View was amazing , breakfast was more than I had expected !
Cons: If you you didn't happen to bring your own bike , renting was expensive and a taxi was 7.50 each way per person. I think the hotel should find a way to incorporate a free shuttle that goes every hour to the Main St . We always had to be thinking about where we were going to eat and how we would get there.
5,0 Okay
Pros: View, cleanliness.
Cons: No sink in bathroom! Had to use sink in mini kitchen for shaving etc. No full length mirror in room. Bathroom fan very loud even after they came to repair it. Breakfast was not even as good as a Hampton Inn. Not even half and half available for coffee though they did provide when requested. Hot breakfast items cold both days. Dinner entrees salty. Swimming pool towels tiny not pool sized. No exercise room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the property. Dinner was fantastic with a view of the bridge and sunset that was amazing. The staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. Best vacation we have had in a while. Highly recommend The Inn at Stonecliff to everyone!!
Cons: Literally nothing. Maybe a tv in front of the bed but that's not even worth mentioning to be honest.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful..
Cons: They didn't have towels stocked at the pool...and the gate latch to the pool was broken.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Large lovely room with view of water.
Cons: 1. Not responsive to my pointing out that they had an inadequate tea selection. Only chamomile and Earl Grey. I said Neither of those were acceptable at dinner and at breakfast the next morning. That they needed at least a plain black tea. I mentioned this shortcoming to 3 different people. Two went and checked pantry but no one over the course of our 3 nights / 3 breakfasts got anything else. I went into town and purchased a box of English Breakfast for my husband and myself. 2. Breakfast buffet selections were good but hot trays didn’t keep things warm - until 3rd morning. 3. No night light in interior bathroom. So dark I couldn’t see toilet.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice full buffet breakfast. Stunning views and grounds. Quiet! Comfortable bed.
Cons: I knew it was not centrally located and was prepared to walk a fair distance or get a taxi. There is no free shuttle but they will pick up your luggage at the ferry dock and deliver it for free so you don't have to carry it if you walk,
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, lovely architecture and very good service!
Cons: Nothing!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: Location related to downtown area
7,1 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, but a fresh made omelette would have been great.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place and quiet location. The breakfast was included, which I did not expect, and was quite good! All of the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Highly recommend this, if you don't mind commuting a bit to and from town.
Cons: A little far from town, but definitely manageable with the bikes and shuttles/taxis. Would have liked it more if they had an option to rent bikes one-way into town (like another drop off station so you could just take a taxi or shuttle back to the inn later at night)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place is absolutely lovely. The grounds are gorgeous, the room was huge with a beautiful bay window and the breakfast was delicious. The bicycles they have for rent are decent quality and reasonably priced.
Cons: The walls were a little thin so you could hear some noise from the other guests

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Parking lot is a little tight.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Cramped parking lot, handle on toilet about to fall off, hard beds
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for all activities. Host was very helpful in selecting dinner/breakfast options.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was good
Cons: the rooms were very small..we told them our little dog would be with us, asked before we booked, and the lady said it was ok..then when we got there, she seemed to freak out our dog was with us..and people running up and down the stairs and talking, made for a lot of noise..
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lighthouse View does not offer breakfast, but do normally give a voucher for nearby Audie's Restaurant. When I checked I wasn't given the voucher, but Audie's honored the key.
Cons: A blower of some sort was noisy near my room.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location is what it has going for it.
Cons: It needs to be updated. The faded hanging baskets outside of the rooms are pathetic. They are so worn! Nothing would look better. The bathtub has the finish coming off the bottom of it. I think it has changed owners over the last few years. The previous owners kept it jump better.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: The room was much smaller than I thought it would be. Pillows were horrible. Parking lot was very hard to park and leave.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The access to park accrosss the street is great. My favorite thing to do in morning is walk over to see sunrise.
Cons: Room 101 needs a dark curtain to block light at night for sleeping. Is all
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient to attractions and the downtown area.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff, the festive decorations, the view of the locks, the shops nearby, the food at the Ramada all made this a great experience.
Cons: We visited at the very close of the season so many local places were closed or closing. The hotel is older and provides a more cabin-like atmosphere vs a new, slick motel.
7,5 Good
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: Parking area was tight, especially if you drive a truck or larger SUV.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the bridge...little quieter area...beyond clean...and friendly helpful staff! Loved the pool and jacuzzi as well. Had the best stay and for us this hotel was our first time stay! Excellent.
Cons: If I had anything to say that wasn’t here I missed it would be a fire pit. But everything was awesome! We will be back!

Pros: The staff was very friendly and the hotel was really clean and at a great location right across from starline dock #2
Cons: We enjoyed are stay and will definitely stay again, it's a bit on the pricey side and the room was kinda small but other than that I'd highly recommend this place
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great and friendly stuff, big and clean room
Cons: Absolutely crazy price. On the top to $360 that we paid for one night they charged us Hotel Service fee of $21.35 without let us know. As well the breakfast was on motel level and we paid extra for the omelet. Absolutely ridiculous.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Third time we have stayed here. Great facilities right downtown, easy access.good value for the price.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: Lost my luggage, eventually was found
9,6 Excellent
Cons: The night clerk Friday morning had the worst attitude of anyone l meet on the island
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Free continental breakfast.
Cons: The television froze; we had to get it fixed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My bedroom was excellent, from the floral wallpaper to the nice towels.
Cons: A translation of the ferry schedule. I messed up my departure because I didn't decipher the printed schedule. If a front office person could just post a sheet stating the departure times that would be easy for travellers with lots of things on their minds.
7,9 Good
Pros: My room was large and, mostly, luxurious. The location was great and the hotel., in general, was very nice.
Cons: I arrived at 2:00, but was not allowed to check-in until 3:00, despite the fact that there appeared to be several available rooms. There was a broken air-conditioner sitting on a wooden pallet in the middle of my (expensive) room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Just nice people great location and very nice room. Will use going forward.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location is nice. Staff is friendly.
Cons: Attached to super expensive restaurant. Very poor offerings for breakfast. Beds weren't very comfortable.

Pros: Great hotel with beautiful views. Love looking out to the water our son loved the pool , playground .
7,1 Good
Pros: Great view from room balcony
Cons: Needed to be upgraded. Walls were thin! There was no place in shower to lay my soap while showering! No soap dish, and I have never stayed in a motel/hotel with no place for soap inside shower.
9,0 Excellent
Cons: They need new outlets in the room. It's not that there were enough outlets is just that they're so old, the plugs fall right out.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the chairs and bonfires on the beach. The playground equipment for the kids. The ability to just walk out of your room onto the beach. The pool was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Nice comfy beds and clean rooms too!
Cons: Wish there were microwaves in the room!
5,0 Okay
Pros: Every room had a view of the lake
Cons: The check-in process was a bit of a fiasco. The hotel buildings were split, so it was actually very confusing and difficult to find our room and coordinate with the elevators. (Which we needed) I feel like the desk staff should have explained this better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Adult only jacuzzi was a nice surprise
9,2 Excellent
Pros: View was amazing. The room was large, clean, and quiet.

4,0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The hotel is old and actually look even older, not clean. Pool and spa are so dirty that is is almost black floor and water looks dirty. Room are very small, not recommended at the cost they ask.
7,1 Good
Pros: The free. Coffee And cookies was a very nice touch

5,0 Okay
Pros: Very nice
Cons: Carpet was wet the entire stay
6,7 Good
Pros: It is clean ,good location
Cons: I didn't like customer service
7,5 Good
Pros: Location good.
Cons: Rooms need updating. Aircon basic and noisy. Whilst the stay was OK and the standard of breakfast was good it was surprising the amount of plastic cutlery, cups etc that was used. Is there a more sustainable way to provide breakfast plates, cutlery, cups etc?
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Breakfast staff amazing coffee amazing. I loved the fact that I forgot my fan and they had one for me
6,3 Good
Cons: The pool area floor was filthy. The hot tub water was very cloudy. Not a desirable area to be in which was disappointing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Roxanne at the front desk when we checked in was awesome! She gave us so much info about where to eat and made us feel at home :) Best sheets I've ever slept on. We were by tje freeway but you wouldnt know it because tje windows blocked all of that noise! We loved that everything was so close for shopping. Continental breakfast was so yummy :)
Cons: Everything was very clean except for the shower head, but hard water will give a bad build up. The carpet seemed damp or moist at times.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It was ok.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The property is conveniently located near restaurants and attractions and offers a shuttle service to the ferry if you’re planning on going to Mackinaw Island. The hotel is situated just off the main highway so it is easy to access, as well.
Cons: It wasn’t as luxurious as I expected for the price. It felt like an old hotel with a newer brand name slapped onto the sign.
7,1 Good
Pros: The pillows were great!
Cons: I like to be greeted like you’re glad I picked your hotel, the gal at the front desk was not welcoming, and didn’t apologize for the wait, not use to that, usually when I travel the front desk is happy to have you there, looking forward to cookies were none, maybe it was past the time! Front desk is the only person I have contact with she should be your best employee!

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Murray Hotel in Mackinac Island, you'll be just steps from Lake Huron and 6 minutes by foot from Fort Mackinac. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift).
7,1 Good
Pros: Luggage storage and handling to and from ferry was good. Hotel location was centrally located for main Street on the island.
Cons: No elevator.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Location was good.
Cons: The décor is out dated.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't be better. Excellent service with our luggage, with our questions. The bed was comfortable and although the room was dated but very clean.
Cons: It was an old hotel, over a hundred years old, so no spa bath nor were there any techie advantages. However, the WiFi was free and strong signal
6,0 Good
Pros: It's location.
Cons: The view was not that nice. Our view was the back street facing a house under construction, which was very loud. They also were vacuuming at 7:30 in the morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Didn’t have breakfast but the bed was soo comfy. Loved the location!!!
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like
7,1 Good
Pros: Really cute, lots of character and history, comfy beds, close to everything, nice rooftop pool deck, very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Probably the most money I've every paid for a single night at a hotel ($375), so I was a little shocked to find towels like sandpaper and no shower curtain in our room (though alluded in posted instructions for placement during use).
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location in the heart of the village. Staff were very nice and totally professional. The building has a nice historic feel and is reasonably well maintained. The bed was perfect.
Cons: Only has one small elevator in the back of the building--not very convenient for rooms on upper floors near the front. For breakfast I normally have a bowl of cold cereal & a glass of orange juice. At the Murray that would cost me $12+ because they charge a flat rate for breakfast & juice costs extra. No good options for small appetites.
7,5 Good
Pros: The people were super friendly and more than willing to help with anything. They offered help with baggage to the dock and back. They were knowledgeable about directions. And food The hotel was right across from the dock which was handy. But,our room was so far away,up one hallway and down another and still another. The room was smaller than we expected. No coffee maker in the room and no fridge.
Cons: The weather was cool
5,4 Okay
Pros: The location is excellent; right in the main square of town. Very close to the lawn of the Fort.
Cons: The decor needs a major update!!! Sorry, I know that it is historic but the very old outdated decor was pretty creepy. The old furnishings and bedding felt like sleeping in a haunted house. To be honest I did sleep well but we were very exhausted from our travels. Our room view, the only windows looked out to the small soaking tub. The patio area is nice but for the price I would expect much much more. We had paid abt $370.04 with tax included. We know labor day weekend Mackinac Island prices are high but we have stayed at other hotels on the island and this should either be offered as a very low cost option or UPGRADE the decor. Antiques are great but these were bad. Dark and creepy. Also, the lobby is cramped and almost no porch. Other places have beautiful porches to sit on in the evening after the day-tourists leave. This just felt like a big waste of money to stay in a dark creepy, nearly no window closet for the night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Our room was clean and cozy! Loved the view of the downtown street. The cookies delivered to our room is always a nice treat!! The staff is so nice, friendly and helpful. Finish the night at the hot tub and you'll be happy. Staying at the Murray always makes us smile!! The best fudge too.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location! We enjoyed the spa pool too.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We were so grateful that the Murray Hotel was able to accommodate us after The Island House through booking.com had over booked our room.
Cons: This was a great place to stay.

Pros: Friendly people
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice pool and hot tub. Nice deck with a view. Very relaxing. Staff was friendly. The man who checked us in was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The room smelled musty. Dirty carpet...mold...dirty AC filter...or something. The carpet definitely was old. I could feel it on my bare feet

9,4 Excellent
Pros: Everything was good and I would stay here again ..
Cons: Wish the breakfast had more to choose from ..
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff was great.
Cons: The hotel wants to be green and reuse towels...needs more hooks in the bathroom. Would like USB outlets for charging devices. Mattress was rock hard and did not sleep well.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It's clean, affordable, not a lot of hallway noise, staff is pleasant. I would stay here again.
Cons: The only down side is that it's really close to Rd so the traffic noise is kinda loud.
5,4 Okay
Pros: We liked the location and friendly staff. At least the measly breakfast had yogurt.
Cons: This was an expensive room for one night. The bed was extremely hard and grossly uncomfortable. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. This hotel could only afford a few baked goods and donuts? The coffee was comparable to a gas station/truck stop.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Last minute trip for us and in the area that holds the walk on the bridge. felt lucky to get a room and the staff was very friendly when we arrived,
Cons: nothing for us
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and big. Excellent location.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location was perfect for the bridge run
Cons: Priced too high
5,4 Okay
Pros: breakfast was okay, rather basic, no hot food offerings other than oatmeal and a toaster. Location is convenient, just off I-75, and the waterfront/downtown area is a short drive. Nice view of the bridge if you pay for the view and don't get a room obscured by bushes.
Cons: Staff: at check-in the desk clerk had an attitude. At check-out the clerk (another person) was on the phone and just handed me a receipt with hardly a thank you for staying. The WI-FI was not in a secure mode so unable to use it for anything other than casual browsing.

Pros: The cheese and wine relaxation hour was delightful. The continental breakfast had great danish. The coffee in the lobby was appreciated. The exterior landscaping and flowers were delightful.
Cons: Old very small bathroom. I would have liked a comfortable chair for relaxed reading in the room.
6,3 Good
Cons: Really sad continental breakfast...coffee cups very small no coffee in rooms,. Said there was lake view but you had to walk around outside of building to see view9
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
5,8 Okay
Pros: I like the idea of the themed rooms...the pool looked very nice....parking was good....close to shops and restaurants
Cons: The room had no coffee pot no fridge no microwave...The bathtub had mold...Bathroom in desperate need of updating...Bed was squeaky.. Outside of building very old looking...
7,9 Good
Pros: The room was quaint; across the street from Lake Huron; beautiful view once outside.
Cons: The room was cramped; needs updated sinks & shower; air conditioning didn’t cool the room adequately; no elevators on 2nd floor; no dining facilities; came with “breakfast” that consisted of coffee in a thermos, a muffin, and that’s it. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived - had to walk into the state park across the street to find a bathroom after a 4 hour drive. With another person , if alone, I wouldn’t have felt safe with old window & only a door latch; no safe. Came back after a day’s outing to find all the ceiling tile in the bathroom out with insulation above our heads. Overall, I would choose another property next time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and cute. Location is perfect, short walk to town and restaurants, across the street from lake. Evening local wine and cheese reception and morning continental breakfast
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location! Can see the Mackinac Bridge from the balcony!
Cons: The room was very musty smelling and the room was fairly small for almost $300 for 1 night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: very clean, bed extremely comfortable, quaint !
Cons: front door entry lock hard to open
7,5 Good
Pros: Location also small which I like
Cons: No refrigerator. Need to update electricity if this is reason
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly. We never went to the continental breakfast, but we did enjoy the free coffee, and wine & cheese in the evening.
Cons: We reserved a room "with a lake view". You had to step out on the balcony to see the lake. We stayed in the "Gone With the Wind" room. The room was small and stuffy. The AC unit was weak. We had brought a small fan, so we'd crack the door and use the fan to blow some fresh air in. We were on the second floor and there was no elevator, so I had to lug everything up the stairs. I don't remember seeing anything about no elevator when making the reservation. My wife has had surgery on both knees and had some trouble with the stairs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool heated to 88 degrees was amazing!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and Happy Hour, mixing with other guests.
