7,9 Good
Pros: The location at the shore is very excellent
Cons: The breakfast Room is absolutely to small for all the guests. Just space for 40 persons !!!
5,4 Okay
Pros: I was very disappointed in the breakfast! The reviews stated breakfast was the best ever! The eggs were horrible, the bacon was microwaved too much, the biscuits were cold and the orange juice was watered down!
Cons: I think it should state somewhere that all rooms are not in main building, and there are no elevators in buildings with second floor. They need to say that you have quite a walk outside to main building for breakfast, pool etc, this could be a challenge in the winter!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was extremely crowded and we were right at the end of the season. It was hard to get breakfast due to the number of people there. It was a beautiful location.
Cons: The pool was super cold. The breakfast room really needs more space.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was extremely clean and large! The Jacuzzi was very comfortable as well. Also enjoyed the really nice view of Lake Huron from the balcony.
Cons: Nothing!

5,1 Okay
Pros: The rooms were quite clean.
Cons: I get that lodging in Mackinaw City is hard to come by on summer weekends, but this was way too expensive for what we got. The hotel wi-fi was nonfunctional, presumably because our room was too far from the single router in the office. If I ever stay in Mackinaw City again, I'll be sure to make reservations farther ahead of time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This vintage motel was big & roomy. I'm not sure if it has always been this well-maintained, or if it was restored during a renovation... It looks "old" but it feels / smells / seems new. It was like being in a time warp, except the beds and water pressure were better, there was a fridge, and we couldn't hear the neighbors! The owners were on-site, helpful, and friendly. My husband and I are 60s and 70s kids, so we thought it was fabulous!
Cons: Honestly, there is nothing I did not like about this place. We're DEFINITELY staying here again on our next trip north; I'm not even shopping around!

Pros: Location and staff
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was warm and welcoming. I was instantly charmed by the hotel when I was handed a real key with the room number on the fob! We were walking distance to downtown. Beds very comfortable. Having a refrigerator and microwave was a nice bonus.
Cons: Would have liked a coffee pot in the room. The office was close by, and the coffee was kept hot and fresh, I just resented having to get dressed and go outside before I had my coffee. Just a personal grumpy issue.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, lady at desk very friendly. Conveniently located within walking distance to ferry docks and downtown.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location next to ferry terminal, easy check-in, cost was reasonable, quaint and free parking right outside the entrance to the room

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Excellent accommodation and staff

Pros: Lovely place and quiet location. The breakfast was included, which I did not expect, and was quite good! All of the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Highly recommend this, if you don't mind commuting a bit to and from town.
Cons: A little far from town, but definitely manageable with the bikes and shuttles/taxis. Would have liked it more if they had an option to rent bikes one-way into town (like another drop off station so you could just take a taxi or shuttle back to the inn later at night)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Location was good.
Cons: The décor is out dated.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location couldn't be better. Excellent service with our luggage, with our questions. The bed was comfortable and although the room was dated but very clean.
Cons: It was an old hotel, over a hundred years old, so no spa bath nor were there any techie advantages. However, the WiFi was free and strong signal
6,5 Good
Pros: Good location in downtown, just down from the market, not far from the main boat docks. The bed was comfortable and had hard and soft pillows. The internal-courtyard-type deck on the second floor was a nice place to enjoy carry out pizza from the pizzeria next door and a bottle of wine from the market for dinner.
Cons: There were a few hairs in the tub and a linty washcloth in the bathroom, plus a smart water bottle under the armoire. This gave the room the feeling of being not well cleaned.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: This time of year this hotel was great. My husband liked the warm water pool. I liked how close this was to the ferries, fort, and grocery store. We were glad to be able to have our own bikes for riding around the island, and this being the start of the summer season, we could easily park our bikes on the street right in front of the hotel.
Cons: I wouldn't like how busy this hotel would be in the summer season. I would want to be away from crowds and I know what the island is like in the summer.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No hair dryer in the room, nor phone.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel. Great location. Simple rooms. Will return.
6,0 Good
Pros: It's location.
Cons: The view was not that nice. Our view was the back street facing a house under construction, which was very loud. They also were vacuuming at 7:30 in the morning.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: There was trash and someone's food in the room when we arrived. No microwave or food storage. Outdated bathroom and poor view... of the pool..couldn't see nature. Elevator was so slow we used the stairs both days.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Really small rooms
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff members were very friendly and attentive
Cons: The price seemed a bit high. It was unclear beforehand that the "pool" is actually a hot tub.
4,0 Okay
Cons: Breakfast made me sick
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location across the main street from water and ferries. Nice view of water and the action on main.
Cons: Could be such a cute little room... but oh my that wallpaper!!! I can't imagine there was ever a time period in which anyone would have thought it was good choice. Using the same decorating sense as they did in their lobby would make the room more enjoyable.

Cons: I was shown that there was only one room left. The queen sweet. It was the room in the back corner lot. I paid 150.00 for a room with nothing. The tv remote didn’t even work for the tv.

Pros: My husband and I are completely loving this hotel! It says right on their website that it offers basic accommodations, but in our opinion, they offer much more than basic. Very clean rooms, professional and helpful staff, great layout of the hotel and within walking distance of many so many wonderful places! We'll definitely be back.
7,9 Good
Pros: The location and easy check in and out.
Cons: Other guests smoking marijuana in the pool/spa area.

Pros: The staff was friendly, the room was very clean. Check in and checking out was easy
Cons: Thebreakdast wasn't the greatest. Not much of a variety. There was construction going on in the hotel that we weren't aware was going to happen. We had to move around construction personnel to get into our room and when we checked out

Pros: I would never go there again. They don't offer any comps, the employees were very unfriendly, the pay offs were rediculous. The rooms were clean and the food was good. When I gave them my drivers lincense to sign up for a card, they typed in the wrong name on the card?
Cons: What I liked the most was their bisquets and gravy, outstanding.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice pool (not heated), hot tub and exercise room
Cons: Poor mattress. Room not ready at 4pm check in time
5,7 Okay
Pros: Location and price were OK. They have a nice deck that you can sit down and relax
Cons: Better than half the staff was rude. Really acted like talking to you was an inconvenience when you're asking questions and we had to ask the same question several times to get any answer At all. It's not a very big casino and it was nice that majority of the tables at five dollar minimums. We stayed on Friday and Saturday night and it was really strange that Saturday night they never even opened the craps table.

Pros: You sit right up at the water. Bartender last night lit the outdoor fire for me when she saw me out there moon gazing.
Cons: Breakfast. I did not expect to have a small selection, mostly of cold fare. I dont need elite food. Have a nice hot oatmeal at this time of year. Cold cereal, cold yogurt, cold muffins, cold cheese cubes. Hot scrambled eggs with stuff in it is high brow. And that is the only hot food...besides sausage links, patties, or dainty ham quarters. I can visualize several folks who would not be able to eat these selections . Also placed off season in the room behind the Club. Poor view.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The private beach and amenities were awesome! Great staff, nice club/bar area, nice variety at breakfast, and the patio & fireplace in each room were wonderful. The pool was very well-kept, and everything was clean.
Cons: There was no elevator access to our room, so we had to carry our luggage and cooler up and down stairs--at least it was only half a flight! I would also have liked a closet in the room, but again that's not a terrible thing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Breakers is a lovely place to stay, this was our first time but it will not be our last.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing and the location was great
7,1 Good
Pros: Nice beds, staff very helpful,
Cons: Key didn't work had to be reprogrammed, same menu both mornings, had to go out into rain, wind to get to breakfast.
6,3 Good
Pros: We loved having breakfast at the Club Restaurant the food was good but the views were spectacular! The Club dinner was ok but again the views from the restaurant made up for the lack of good food at dinner.
Cons: We paid for a junior suite because bookings said it would include a fireplace but it didn't also the website said the restaurant was open from 7am-11pm and it was not. We also walked into a room that was 59 degrees with no extra blankets, no pictures on the walls and a melted hole in the lampshade. The super sweet girl from check in personally brought us blankets and informed us they were redoing rooms and the suites were not upgraded. She did offer to take $30 off the bill but it wasn't about the $ it was more about feeling like we were lied to so not sure we'd come back again because of the lack of things that were misrepresented.

Pros: nice bed clean
Cons: Breakfast not in same building and my Kuerig coffee maker didnt work
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked that it was waterfront
Cons: Our room was in a separate building from the office. Had some problems with the included breakfast. As it was raining we got very wet going for breakfast. It was not the Breakers Resort that we booked.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: We were charged twice. We stayed for 4 days and they only made the bed and brought clean towels. There is no bar, the breakfast was outside the hotel in a separate location. The pool was closed. The staff was not knowledgeable. Way over priced!!!!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and well decorated. I loved the added touch of having a fireplace. We had a good view of the water and enjoyed the sound of the waves on the shore. It was a wonderful place to stay! And, it's right next to Java Joe's!
Cons: No.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness of the room and also that there was an elevator being we were on the 2nd floor. Lady in the breakfast room was so sweet!
Cons: The fact that my sister and I were walked in on twice in our room during our stay. Knocking first I thought would’ve been more appropriate. My sister has a medical issue which takes her awhile to get ready every morning so was a little tough getting to breakfast by 9:30 most mornings. Would have worked better if I could’ve brought food to her but we made it happen every morning since it’s a must for her to eat breakfast!
