With a stay at Chambres D'hôtes Sainte Hune in Hunawihr, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of NaturOparC and Château Girsberg. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nestled in the lovely vineyards of quaint Hunawihr, Sainte Hune offers the ideal spot to relax and enjoy Alsace! The rooms are spacious, with super modern bathrooms and cozy beds. There are three restaurants in easy walking distance and a family vineyard offering tastings just steps away (Schwach crémant is excellent!). Book now!
Pros: The owners take great care in preparing a lovely breakfast - beautiful fresh fruit, croissants, olives. Also cheeses, cereals, yogurt, juice. You won't need anything more.
Pros: Perfect breakfast :)
Pros: The room is quite big with good terrace, bed is comfortable, bathroom is big, shower very good.
Cons: check-in time quite late (from 4:30pm), there is no cooking facilities although there is a dinning table in the room and they have good terrace, this kind of location would be much more attractive if they could provide cooking facilities.
Pros: The rooms made us feel at home with the decor, and it was also very big. The hosts (husband and wife) were nice - especially the husband who had given us a lift to the nearby town and took a scenic route up the vineyards. Breakfast was serviceable. The view from our room of the mountains and vineyards was excellent.
Cons: The property shares its grounds with a wine factory. There was unfortunately a large commotion right outside our window from 5.30am because workers had come in to start work, and heavy bottling machinery started work from about 6.30am onwards. So we were kept up with a loud sound in our heads with nowhere to go to escape from the sound for a good 3 hours till breakfast time. We were told that the sounds would be there once or twice a month but that it was exceptionally early. So you may still want to take your chances.
Located in Ribeauville, Le Clos Saint Vincent is in a rural location, within a 15-minute walk of Jean Sipp Winery and Château Girsberg. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Very pricey and food choice is very limited
Pros: The pleasant staff
Cons: The restaurant and breakfast was poor and the hotel generally needs refurbishment
Pros: Love the location. Been there many times in the past. Rooms have been renovated (esp. bathrooms) the main restaurant and the bar as well. The staff is lovely. Breakfast simple and delicious.
Pros: Location is stunning and calming. Each room has a balcony or small porch overlooking the Vineyards. We rather enjoyed hanging out watching the view on some days rather than racing around the small villages. Staff were friendly and competent. They too knew when to give us space -- we were exhausted and slept very late one morning and no one knocked on our door to clean. It was great! Rooms were beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and served on the balcony. We only ate it 1x as it is fairly large (and we opted to grab something on the go when we were sightseeing). We did not have dinner here so cannot comment. I will happily steer friends here.
Cons: Some of the electricity sockets turn off when you turn off the lights - thus you have to search the room for 1 that stays on through the night in order to power up electronics. This is a 'europe energy conservation thing' and not related simply to this hotel. We unplugged the tv and found this socket stayed on all night.
Pros: The christmas spirit. The spa. The room . The view and windows
Pros: The location of the hotel/the view is fantastic. The staff is friendly.
Cons: The place is generally a little run-down. The pool/spa area desperately needs renovation.
Pros: You should be there to see why my score was so high. Personal letters were amazing, so as care, atmosphere, style, nature around, ambiance, breakfast and hosts. Seamless care polite staff ready to help. I had such a lovely stay
Pros: Great location with a very helpful and friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Staying at Clos St.Vincent has been - and will continue to be a great pleasure!

Pros: Nice room, beautiful balnéo and gardens, very friendly staff, very good restaurant, we had a nice time
Cons: The bed was very hard but the staff was helpful to solve this. Breakfast was expensive but the quality of the food and choice is good, sometimes the pastries weren’t replenished
Pros: Beautiful view. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Beautiful interior. Perfect breakfast buffet.
Cons: The menu of the restaurant is very limited and service is not good at all! Too much chlorine smell in the pool!
Cons: Service, infrastructure. It may all our expectations
Pros: Helpful staffs
Cons: No availability for late check out
With a stay at Hôtel du Mouton in Ribeauville, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Jean Sipp Winery and Château Girsberg.
Pros: Terrific restaurant, comfy beds, nice staff, and great central location for walking, but difficult to drive into village during hours when some roads are closed for pedestrians.
Cons: No A/C (but fans are available) and lots of stairs
Pros: Great location, the restaurant was excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: No air conditioning
Pros: Great location and very friendly staff.
Pros: Hotel had a great location!
Cons: We weren't told that they would not be staffing the counter. We had to place a call to figure out how to get access to the hotel. The person on the phone demanded we also leave an additional Euro in the room for "tourist tax" which was not listed in the booking. The restaurant and front desk were closed (and it was a weekend evening). Really disappointed that we basically had to look after ourselves and the demand for an extra euro was shady and unpleasant.
Pros: Great location and good restaurant !
Pros: Fabulous place in an old and very pretty town centre. The hotel is a very old building and the quirky layout was charming. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was really good and we were very well looked after. Definitely on my list for a re-visit.
Cons: Nothing to add - Great Place and a Great Stay
Pros: The atmosphere of the hotel in the vert suggestive city
Cons: The bad was too small for two adults
A stay at Hotel de la Tour places you in the heart of Ribeauville, steps from Château Girsberg and 3 minutes by foot from Jean Sipp Winery. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The location was great and the staff extremely helpful.
Cons: Toiletries not very high standard and water bottle not replaced on second day of trip.
Pros: The location is top notch. In the middle of Ribeauville. There is parking behind the hotel, for a fee, which is well spent. The service was welcoming and fantastic and helped book a great restaurant, as well as helping to provide a birthday breakfast in conjunction with a 7 year birthday. It ver nothing less than perfect.
Pros: Very well located, right in the center of the city. Very friendly staff and nice looking spa which we couldn’t unfortunately use, cause we arrived so late. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: The rooms appear quite old fashioned, but it’s not a real complaint, cause you can see it on the pics before booking, so you know, what you choose.
Pros: Nice hotel at the center of the old town. The spa was really nice, and so was the room.
Cons: No safe in the room (though nothing was stolen)
With a stay at Au Nid de Cigognes in Ostheim, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Little Venice and Château Girsberg. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Planning an event in Ostheim? This hotel has facilities measuring 861 square feet (80 square meters), including a meeting room. A shuttle from the airport to the hotel is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Nice hotel in a quaint village, close to the highway and to the lovely town Colmar. Very nice and clean pool. My dog was welcome and allowed to stay with us at breakfast
Pros: The staff were all friendly and nice:)
Cons: The air condition was not worked so we were chilled out.( actually we should call the reception, then they could turn on the air conditioning, though...)
Pros: The hotel is located in a small village on a main route connecting the larger quaint towns of the Alsace. The staff is friendly and room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. Cheeses, fruit, and fresh breads and pastries.
Cons: We chose this hotel as we thought it was worth the extra expense, because it said it had a Hamman and spa. (Breakfast was extra.) As it turned out, the "Hamman spa" was a 3-person sauna and steam bath, which were continuously occupied during our stay. There was also a small pool filled with children and parents. With bus loads of other tourists, the hotel was running at maximum capacity. We were under the impression that we would have a spa weekend, but the facilities were sorely under-equipped. In our opinion, we paid an unnecessary amount for a 2-night stay in a 3-star roadside hotel.
Pros: location and breakfast good. also quite enough and walking around the small own was nice.
Cons: hygiene in the restaurant / servers would need improvement a bit.
Pros: room very nice
Cons: breakfast should be improved
Pros: Close to the venue I was visiting. The village has got few amenities, so the restaurant in the hotel was welcome. Cooking was French, not always my cup of tea, but the menu had several items I could enjoy. Restaurant prices were pretty decent. Breakfast was pretty nice, particularly since the local shops and even the local Boulangerie are closed Sunday morning. Mind you, supermarkets are only a few minutes away - I was just too tired to bother and simply enjoyed what the hotel had to offer. The well-being area is nice, no jacuzzi, but sauna, hammam and a nice indoors pool which we greatly enjoyed.
Cons: TV and WiFi were down. Not a big issue, and probably a rare one, it allowed us more time at the pool!
Pros: Nice pool area and nice view over the square with the storks nearby.
Cons: WiFi was very poor in my room. I was told I can sit in the reception area to use I it but that is not really the same as having it in your room as advertised.
Pros: fine old hotel with wellness site at a lovely place in the region alsac. you can not do wrong staying there to leisure.
With a stay at Hotel Chez Felix in Ostheim, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Little Venice and Château Girsberg. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: After paying the bills and after we left in the morning the owners wrongfully used my credit card to deduct 20 Euros later in the evening. It's shocking how they could do this. The 20 Euros were deducted from my bill after dicussion n a fresh bill was made and given to me. Yet they misused my credit card. It's important not to allow misuse of anyone's payment card just coz a CVV is given while booking. This is a dangerous trait. It's not a question of 20 euros it's the question of ethics, what one can do just for 20 euros. Regrets will not recommend anyone to stay here.
Pros: We arrived on a Sunday and as per instructions the key was available in a lock box - very efficient. The room had a small table and two chairs, which was useful. There was a kettle and sachets for hot drinks. It was hot, although not as hot as the heatwave the previous week. It was helpful that there were only sheets on the bed not a full duvet. These were aviable in the room if needed though. The staff were very helpful getting our tablet connected to the wifi. It was a bonus seeing storks nest very close to the hotel.
Cons: We had a room facing the main road through town. It was quite noisy from about 6am to late evening. It did quieten down at night. The church bells rang at 6am for at least 30 seconds. They were very loud. They then rang every 15 minutes until 10pm. There was no lift only stairs (we knew this when booking). There was no fridge in the room but you could use the fridge and freezer at reception if you wished. There was an airconditioner in the room, which was quite noisy but cooled the room down ready for sleep.
Pros: It’s always the actions of the owners that reflect and define a small hotel such as this. They were on the phone to us the day we left, concerned because they thought we had left behind an important document. Truly thoughtful and wonderful people.
Pros: Cleanliness only
Cons: Check in time 4.30 pm is very odd. More over on Sundays after 11 am the restaurant closes and staff goes away.
Pros: The location is very good to explore places all over Alsae
Cons: The reception was closed on Sunday! No one to talk to or asking for help...
Pros: This is a family hotel, not fancy but made with love. we enjoy our stay in this hotel. The restaurant in the hotel have local/original cuisine which we enjoyed.
Located in Ribeauville, Hotel Le Ménestrel is within a 15-minute walk of Château Girsberg and NaturOparC. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: We booked a room for two in Hotel Le Menestrel. The Hotel is seen on the picture on top of this evaluation and was also seen during the booking proces. We parked at the hotel, and checked in at the reception. Then we got a (cellar) apartment in a separate bulding behind the hotel. It was a nice apartment, but we did not "live" in the hotel as we expected. My conclusion is, that we were a little bit cheated or misinformed during the booking proces. And the price was not low.
Pros: Great hotel with fantastic and helpfull personnel. Big parking is available. The room is big and clean. Ribeaville is magnific place.
Pros: Very friendly. Close to the centre of town. Rooms very quiet. Excellent private car park.
Pros: Good location, nice balconies, nice rooms, good breakfast
Cons: I think the staff could have been more friendly
Pros: They need a microwave inside the room.
Pros: Location, parking, room size and facilities are average. Room and big bed were good. TV screen very small.
Cons: All was ok . Nothing was bad.
With a stay at Hôtel Au Lion in Ribeauville, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Jean Sipp Winery and Château Girsberg. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Location, nice breakfast, nice seating area outside to drink wine
Cons: The bed was hard, pillows lumpy, bells ringing thru the night
Cons: Two thin towels and one hand towel. Two flat pillows. No soap or shampoo. Not particularly clean.
Pros: Nice location and really friendly staff. The apartment was spacious.
Cons: We found trash still in the bin. Tv wasn’t working nor the light in the smaller room.
Pros: Central position, good price.
Cons: Stayed before and had a good evening meal and enjoyable drinks outside. This time, no dinner and no drinks available. Had to go elsewhere (which was very busy and very good).
Pros: Perfect setting in the middle of town. Beautiful old property with outside seating, bar and restaurant. We ate dinner and breakfast at the property which were both really good.
Cons: Middle of summer so very hot. Could do with a couple of fans in the room.
Pros: Location, ambiance, dog friendly
Pros: Everything the location the room were great size decor stylish food very delicious The age of the property gave it a charm of its own Very high standard of customer service
Cons: I couldn't stay there long enough nothing everything great

Pros: Beautiful scene
Cons: No water and cup in the room
Pros: Great restaurant fab location
Cons: There was building work going on at the back
Cons: Overpriced hotel staff helpful but could be friendlier breakfast not good value compared with other hotels in alsace
Pros: Location, people, atmosphere. Everything.
Cons: Highly recommended .
Pros: Breakfast was OK but coffee not good and the room was very dark. We breakfasted elsewhere the second day. The restaurant itself in the hotel was OK but as everywhere the portions are too big. My pillow was nice and soft - unlike all the others on our trip. Good view from our window on 3rd floor.
Cons: The bedroom door was extremely tricky to unlock. We didn't master it over 2 days. No chairs in the bedroom to put clothes on - not much room as under the eaves. No hooks or racks in the bathroom to put towels on. Very steep stairs down to the restaurant from the bedroom area - but this is a very old and converted building so that is understandable.
Pros: Great location in a unique location in town. Breakfast included.
Cons: In need of update to room; very out dated 20th C wallpaper, kitchen sink? and bathroom.
With a stay at Au Cheval Blanc Hôtel et Restaurant, you'll be centrally located in Ribeauville, just a 4-minute walk from Jean Sipp Winery and 8 minutes by foot from Château Girsberg. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great location in Ribeauville! Top end of the town for a good morning trek to Château Ulrich! Anna and her staff are and will make sure your stay is to your liking!
Cons: The sauna and whirl should start at 8 am to 8 pm!
Pros: Location. Good view over the square. Didn't use sauna or hot tub but looked quite inviting.
Cons: Small bed but mattress and pillows quite comfortable. Tight squeeze to get into the shower.
Pros: Food OK but breakfast eating area a bit cramped for space
Cons: There was 'parking', but it was in the street, 'Pets allowed' but 14€ per day is above average.
Pros: This is an established hotel in the stunningly beautiful Alsatian town of Ribeauville. I am sure others know about this gem of a place, but we were happily surprised by the comfort of the room, the helpfulness of the staff, and the excellence of the food and drink. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was just plain awesome. So many little details had been considered for the comfort of the guests - good lighting for reading, very comfortable mattresses and pillows, a fan in the room, windows located for good ventilation, and comfortable seating for all of us. We loved it! Would love to go back.
Cons: Our room was on the top floor up a number stairs, which was a bit tough on the seniors in our party. The staff was very helpful in getting our luggage up the stairs, which was much appreciated. Otherwise, the room and stay was perfect!
Pros: Clean and tidy
Pros: Beautiful hotel surrounded by amazing mediaeval buildings and wonderful vineyards
With a stay at Hostellerie Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre in Ribeauville, you'll be in a provincial park, just a 3-minute walk from Jean Sipp Winery and 6 minutes by foot from Château Girsberg. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Cons: I'm sorry, but this hotel is really not worth 175 euros per night. We stayed in several hotels in the region and this one was by far the less charming yet the most expensive.
Pros: The rooms are absolutely beautiful--elegant fabrics, lovely sheets, lots of charm. The owner is helpful and friendly. It feels like a little of the "old Alsace" which is a welcome contrast to the tourists and souvenir shops.
