7,5 Good
Pros: We stayed in a junior suite , room was spacious and bathroom was very nice

7,0 Good
Pros: Personel was very friendly and welcoming. The valet parking was ideal:No issues in finding a parking place. Room was neat and tidy. Romantic place to stay in an historic surrounding. Breakfast buffet was delicious and lots of choice.
Cons: A few little things but shouldnot occur in a 5 star hotel: Our luggage was delivered in our room, together with a bag which wasn’t ours...can happen. We asked for a soft boiled egg at breakfast, asked twice for it, but still did not receive it after almost one hour,so we left without. Price of room too high for what you get.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Charm & elegance of hotel outside and inside
Cons: Bar prices
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Location and building.
Cons: Everything from Staff, spa, waiting time.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The location
Cons: Extremely noisy ventilation that can’t be turned off. Didn’t sleep a minute all night. The Spa area is too small for the size of the hotel and it was way to crowded and really unpleasant. The view from the sauna is towards the treadmills which absolutely unacceptable for a five star hotel. The sauna is tiny too, we had to wait turns. One of the worst traveling experiences we have ever had. 280€ for a tiny room with a ventilation sounding like a broken car engine and a spa we couldn’t use is outrageous. We’re never staying there again and I don’t recommend it to anyone!!

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and stylish. The breakfast buffet looked and tasted lovely.
Cons: We chose this hotel because of its wonderful location in the centre of Rouen and it had on site parking. Unfortunately the car lift down to the garage was out of order and we had to park in a public car park. They were apologetic, but paying at least some of the parking cost would have been a nice gesture and good PR
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect stay.in heart of town. Breakfast was very good
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Stayed on a few occasions hotel is always lovely Good location Spotlessly clean
Cons: Always choose this hotel because of secure city centre parking However the car park is out of order at the moment and I missed the email which informed me of the fact as it was attached to the instructions on how to use the car park lift As I had used it before I didn’t read it
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The Location was great and the private underground car was back working and a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was excellent with a a very good variety of hot and cold delights. Plus our dogs were made welcome. Very efficient and friendly receptionists.
Cons: The mattresses sank bow shaped when one laid on them! Most uncomfortable beds we have slept in . Room 403. The shower room was tiny. One has to negotiate one’s legs under the hand basin to sit on the loo. But. We will return.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The hotel was clean, beds were soft, breakfast was very good.
Cons: We rented a car and the roads were a little tricky. But that’s not the hotels fault it’s a very old city not meant for cars.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and adorable staff
Cons: not having a parking espace for us even though we booked a room 3 months ago.

Les Inities - Rouen - Bedroom

8,7 Excellent (1 279 reviews)
R1 199+
Overview Reviews

Set opposite the Palais de Justice, it offers individually-themed rooms with free Wi-Fi access and en suite facilities. A continental breakfast is served each morning from Monday to Saturday and is available on Sunday upon reservation. The Inities’s bar and brasserie restaurant offers regional cuisine and a view of the Palais de Justice. Hôtel Les Inities is just 150 metres from the Gros-Horloge and a 5-minute walk from the Notre-Dame Cathedrale. It is an ideal base to explore the historic capital city of Normandy.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Its location and the period of the building was exceptional.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, good-sized room for Paris’ standard.
Cons: There’s no full time staff. You check in with the bartender at the bar and they close at 7:30. Also, no parking on site.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was poor
7,0 Good
Pros: It was fine except that the light in the bathroom didn''t work and no one to get hold of.Also the sink abutted on to the lavatory which made it very cramped. Knowing that the key was going to be where it was in advance would have made for peace of mind as was worried about pin numbers and codes that were mentioned it being a Sunday. Otherwise very well ppositioned for the old town.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The best thing about Les Initiés is how close it is to all must-see spots; only a short walk to the cathedral, the Gros Horloge, the old market, etc. The cafe downstairs and the house itself are lovely. We had a room with a view over Palais de Justice courtyard, which was simply fantastic. No issues with the room whatsoever; it was a bit small, but fine. On the other hand the bathroom was bigger then we'd expected. The staff was friendly and helped me solve a wi-fi access issue. We arrived on Sunday when the cafe was closed, so we had received by email a door code and instructions to get our room keycard.
Cons: As many people here mention, climbing the narrow stairs can be difficult with heavy bags. The bathroom had a big frosted glass window right next to shower/bathtub; it does the job, but a curtain would feel more comfortable. Our overall good experience was a bit impaired the last morning; check-out time was 12am, so we had a last walk around Rouen's old town and we returned to the room 11am, only to find our keycard was already inactive. I asked the staff for help and I was told it was normal because our time was up, even though it wasn't 12am yet. They finally gave us a new keycard so we could collect our bags from the room, but in general it made us feel we were not welcome anymore.
6,0 Good
Pros: Only location
Cons: Organize reception in hotel (you need to stay with baggage in café and wait when waiter will come and give you key from your room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect for exploring the old part of town and is opposite the stunning Law Courts, which was the view from our 4th floor room.
Cons: No lift
5,7 Okay
Pros: Very very good location. I studied there and I know what a good location in Rouen is. From our room we had a view to Palace Justice. 10 minute walk from train station and walking distance to any sightseeing in Rouen. Room was nice and clean. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend to others with limited budget.
Cons: No elevators. Reception desk doesn’t works 7/24, though it was not a problem for us.
5,3 Okay
Pros: The location is fantastic - right in the middle of the historic city centre and opposite the stunning Court of Justice, one of the most beautiful late medieval structures anywhere. The hotel building, from the same period, is quaint and charming. As things go in France, the breakfast was above average.
Cons: The wifi did not work properly (save in the staircase, not the most convenient of options...) and the room furniture was very flimsy indeed and certainly not 'design', as rather boldly stated. No staff on location on a Sunday night - all I got was a room key, in sharp contrast with the services mentioned on the web.
6,3 Good
Pros: Very well placed in the center of the old town, behind Palace de Justice, a short walk from Cathedral and metro stop. Clean modern room in a nice old building. Very good price.
Cons: Rooms at second, third and fourth floor without elevator and narrow staircase. Good only for people travelling light. No reception when the bar below is closed. No WiFi in my room even if a router was in the corridor, but good in the bar. Some small maintenance problems

Cons: Difficult to navigate the gate to the parking lot if you have a big (SUV) car.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful, but within very easy reach of the centre
Cons: Would of like a shower curtain as difficult to shower without the flooding the bathroom. Wi-fi was very patchy, but the weather wasn’t good , so this could of been the issue?

Pros: The location was great, the apartment was great, very well set up. My husband especially liked the shutters on the Windows and we loved the free, secure private parking.
Cons: A couple of comfy chairs would have been nice.

Pros: Could contact owners easily for extra soap and tea bags. Location very good in older part of Rouen. Space to spread out a bit. Generally a comfortable apartment and well supplied with fridge, microwave and tv. Quiet and safe.
Cons: It is an unseviced apartment so towels and tea towel were left for our 6 day stay. Pull out bed uncomfortable.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find. Key in a box with a code. Private parking. Very nice, quiet and comfortable apartment. We were in contact with our hosts by mail and SMS. They wanted to make sure everything was going well and we felt at home.

Pros: Very modern, clean, and in an excellent location. I had a privilege room with a balcony and an amazing view
Cons: Parking was awful. I ended up Parking at the cathedral lot. Which was more roomy
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The thing they called a bed was a wood box with a thin form on top. Absolutely the worse stay while in France. Ended up sleeping on the floor. Room 412 has a water leak and my mate got an upgrade. Absolutely the worse stay. If you value your rest to enjoy the city, don’t stay here.
Cons: The thing they called a bed.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: I am not a fan of Ibis and every time I have booked it, I did it because of convenience reasons. This time, I booked it because it was the only hotel offering 24 hours check-in as I was not certain at what time we could arrive. A month before our stay, I learned about the tragic accident of the chemical plant in the city, so I contacted the hotel to receive information about potential health risks. They took a lot of time to answer every question and concern, sending governmental links with scientific tests done in the area to assure me and my husband, we would not be at risk at all. When we arrived, the nice young receptionist, as well as all other workers, were very welcoming and did their best to make us feel comfortable so I have to thank you all once more for your kindness and understanding. I will always prefer private accommodation instead of a chain-branded hotel, but if we come back to your beautiful city, we would be pleased to stay here again. Their dedication and attentions did not end there: they even treat us with a bottle of cider and sweets in our room, which was for the price, fabulous. Not only due to their outstanding costumer service and support but also, because of its infrastructure. The hotel is just around the corner coming from the motorway, parking underground was safe, uncomplicated and cheap. The bathroom was a proper room and not the typical plastic cabin, as I know from Ibis Budget. In less than five minutes walking we reached the market square (weekly market with any imaginable local food/ French traditional food, clothes, flea-market area, visual art, music, an organic supermarket, and quality items of every sort) from where we started to roam around the lovely old city. Overall, we had a memorable day in Rouen and got the very best impression of its people. We thank again to the hotel team and wish them all a healthy and happy new year!

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Rouen is an ideal stop off for us on our way down to Spain but we always end up going through the centre which is a pain, especially at the end of a days drive. This location is great and you avoid the centre. Secure parking with locked gate at night. Dog friendly with gardens and secure fencing. Shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The area is a mix of residential, shopping and industrial units, hotel is decent value and ideal for a stop over. Have already booked to stop on our way back. Good breakfast and pleasant, friendly staff. Very comfy beds, quiet at night and slept very well. Small bar but check restaurant is open if you want to eat there - other places close by if they are not open. We were tired so took the easy option and had a walk up the road for 5 mins to the MacDonalds :-). 9E per night for the dog to stay.
Cons: All good, have booked to stay again

Pros: Located down town center, Normand traditional mansion easy to reach out by car. Feeling quickly home and getting tips along your stay.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Very central, old and charming.
Cons: We booked for 2 adults and 2 children but got only beds for 3 people. We had to squeeze 3 people to a double bed.
7,0 Good
Pros: Convenient location. Nice garden and very stylish tea room area.
Cons: The room was at the last floor, pretty much like a bigger attic with very small windows. There was no sound insulation, as a locked door was separating our room from the other one on the same floor and that resulted in a lot of noise
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming atmosphere !! Like a country house!
Cons: Bedroom a bit small
7,5 Good
Pros: The location, it’s simply fabulous! One has to park the car in Palais de Justice parking lot which is 4 minutes from the hotel. The lady is very professional and was very informative. Pascaline restaurant was suggested by her and it was fabulous!
Cons: The room colours are very dark, would have preferred a lighter shade as the rooms are tiny.

Pros: Very nice atmosphere and design.
Cons: Shower a bit dated. Ok for a couple of nights.

Cons: WiFi in bedroom 3 was poor....but that’s not why we travelled.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. Not expensive so we upgraded to the deluxe room - very much worth it. Larger room, airy and still smells brand new from the recent renovations. The location was excellwnt. Very close to the historical center (approx 5 minute walk). The staff recommended us a few places to go for dinner, even made us reservations when we finally decided on the resto. The breakfast was good and more thank sufficient to start the day. Great coffee, bread, croissants, jam, ham and a few different cheeses. Since we drove to the city, we took advantage of the on-site parking. Even though you will pay about €9 per day, it is protected (unlike street parking) and they even let us to leave the car there afree we checked out, so we could explore the city a little more before moving on. Lived this small family-run hotwl.

Cons: Not a problem for us, but no elevator.

Pros: Superb location on quiet street with private parking, easy to get to as you drive in and of Rouen , and just 10 minutes or so walk from the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast fine. The hotel is a C19th house attractively furnished with period furniture and a racing car theme. Great value for money.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly family hotel
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was quite stylish, we liked the design that reminded us of one of Hercule Poirot stories for some reason. The receptionists were very friendly and stored our luggage after check-out. The location is very near to the train station. There was a comfortable bed and the room was perfectly clean. It was in a very nice area.
Cons: Everything could be heard through the thin walls, which of course cannot be helped in such an old house. It was a little difficult to regulate water in the shower: either it was too hot or too cold :-)

Pros: Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. There is secure underground parking very close for €16 for 24hrs. The hotel is in a super location for the main sites too. All within easy walking distance.
Cons: €7 for two tiny bottles of water is a real rip off. They're €0.50 in the shop up the road (closed, hence we had to buy in the hotel) The hotel could use a lick of paint here and there. It's looking a bit tired.

Pros: It was right for 4 adults but generally acceptablr
Cons: There are openings in the swinging doors to the shower area that created a problem with privacy. We had two teenage girls and two men.

Pros: The room was very spacious, I wasn’t expecting it to be
Cons: Nil
8,0 Excellent
Pros: 1. The room was clean in general compared to other 4 stars hotels. 2. Car park is secure and really spacious. 3. Hotel service has been brilliant and met our expectations.
Cons: 1. The breakfast service is not efficient i.e. you would need to make your own fried egg. So we asked for refunds for breakfast. If you are expecting English breakfast experience you need to explore your possibilities around the centre! 2. The room next to river is really noisy mainly because of traffic and emergency vehicles passing by throughout night even during weekend! We were not able to sleep much first night but we were given new room on request which was far more quieter.
3,1 Mediocre
Pros: Very little. This is only slightly above IBIS in quality and had several of the same design items in the rooms as IBIS Budget.
Cons: The profile says "parking" - in reality the hotel only has 20 spaces, and those are almost always full we were told. The counter staff told us and the next three customers who showed up while we were checking in "find your own space on the street" -- which in Rouen is both very hard, and far to likely to have your morning start with a new dent in the car. The room we were given was 1/2 the size of the photo. Really amazing how it looked sort of the same layout...but was so cramped we couldn't move around. The bed's weren't the same size as in the profile. When we showed the counter manager the photo and description differences with the promised room and the reality, the response was "I don't write what is on the websites, so can't help you." Very much a vacation fail.

Pros: Excellent location, and welcomed by the cats arriving late. Enjoyed the breakfast unable to fault
Cons: Unfortunately had to mark down the customer service due to One front end person who had a rather sour personality . Otherwise no further negative comments
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location. Room was comfortable and spacious
9,1 Excellent
Pros: This place is very quaint. It is in a great location next to the cathedral and is clean and comfortable despite being obviously very old (and by that I don't mean worn down - I mean that you can tell the building has been there forever but it is well taken care of). There is a nice court yard/patio with a very friendly cat and a nice breakfast. Would stay there again 100%
Cons: The key system is a little old, other than that, everything is great!
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room was comfortable The location was very central
Cons: Rooms were not soundproofed sufficiently. Could hear neighbours to the side, above and below Breakfast on the expensive side when compared with the rates at the local restaurants Water bottles and toiletries not replenished daily although towels were replaced.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything! We come back every year!
Cons: Nothing!
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely little hotel in a great location.
Cons: My only moan was that we asked for a non smoking room but the room we were given really smelled of cigarettes, even though they had aired it by leaving the windows open.
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice room and a great location
Cons: The heating...! It was simply just far too hot. Also, asked for a quiet room and despite the central location it was very quiet and no sound of road traffic etc. However, very noisey in the morning- I think just above the dining room and the setting up for breakfast!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A very clean and comfortable Hotel, with a good buffet breakfast. The location was superb, in the best part of the beautiful old town of Rouen, surrounded by interesting shops, great restaurants and stunning architecture. Car parking was possible in a choice of nearby underground centers. €15 for 24hrs. (Superior double room over courtyard was very quiet)

7,9 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Comfy bed.
Cons: Bit dark. Curtains not opened when we arrived. Shower curtain kept sticking to you.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located about a 20 minute walk from the old town section. There is public transportation outside the front door of the hotel, There is also a shopping mall across the street. On Sundays pretty much everything is closed, tough to find somewhere to eat close to the hotel. Staff were very efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 10 euros, cereals, yogurt, juice,, coffee, boiled eggs, bread, jams, meats and cheese.
Cons: nothing
5,0 Okay
Pros: Place is fine, all the rest is ok.
Cons: Disorganized staff left me and my 4yo daughter without a room after leaving 9ma and coming back at 22h30. Also, after they said they didn't have a room (leaving us on the street, basically), I said I wanted to call the police, and got a nice answer , and I quote: "at least there you will have where to spend the night", by the great receptionist called Sebastien, on Sunday the 11th August 2019. After much discussion, he magically found a room...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfy, easy! Staff were nice, breakfast was really good too!
7,1 Good
Pros: It’s location was close to the centre, had secure parking and friendly staff
Cons: We had two two rooms and only found out after we left that one of the rooms wasn’t cleaned properly - however if I had of mentioned it I am sure my family would have been moved.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The young man on reception was very very helpful.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location and secure onsite parking. A comfortable room and good breakfast choice. Helpful friendly staff.
Cons: We would have preferred a walk in shower instead of one situated in the bath. A minor point for us but worth noting for anyone with reduced mobility.

7,5 Good
Pros: We arrived late so there was nobody at the reception area as it closes at 8pm. We did notify them of our arrival time so they gladly left the key in the door of the room. Communication was clear and efficient. Location is good, very close to the old town area. Public Parking is also few minutes away and cost around €15 per night stay. It’s a corky looking hotel, full of character.
Cons: Rooms and bathroom could do with some updating.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and good value too. Fridge and kettle in room 33. Close to both old and new parts of city. 200 mts from Musee des Beaux Arts. Bus to station outside Hotel de Ville 50 mts.
6,3 Good
Pros: The room itself was clean and comfortable. The bed in particular was excellent. Centrally located. The breakfast was better than i was expecting to be honest. There is parking, but not for the faint of heart.
Cons: It reflected Rouen for us. It looked tired and worn. Its location on a noisy main road didn't help, and the carp0et in the lift was a disgrace! It just about passes muster as a commercial hotel. We saw several better looking hotels in the city.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, friendly and helpful!! Great location near the train station and the city centre. Quiet room and bed very comfortable. Amazing Breakfast with a variety of local quality products. I will recommend it !!!!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It is a very nice location, nice staff, nice room.
Cons: Beware of the underground parking: unless you have a small car and you're really good in it, it is too much of a hazard.

7,9 Good
Pros: We stayed at Rouen as a half way stop off between Dunkirk and Mont Saint Michele and chose the Ibis because it was cheaper, walking distance to the town centre and they offered secure parking on site (turns out this is an extra 8 euros for the night) so it was incredibly convenient. We knew we would be tired from a long drive and didn’t want to mess about with parking so we could go and find dinner before it got too late. So this was perfectly comfortable and gave a good nights sleep and we were very pleased with what we paid for it. We had a delightful meal at one of the restaurants in the cathedral area where there are beautiful Norman style buildings and we had a beautiful crossiant breakfast sat outside in one of the cafes on a beautiful October Sunday morning! Was very idyllic! Hairdryer and towels are provided and both the room and bathroom were clean.
Cons: I would have liked some tea and coffee making facilities - as I knew before I arrived there wasn’t any and we had the car I actually packed my own kettle!
7,0 Good
Pros: Comfortable room and great shower but the room was too hot.
Cons: Staff Smoking at the entrance.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, Only a short walk from the River side and the beautiful Old Town. The Room was very comfortable, clean and well presented.
Cons: Slightly difficult to locate on a busy road, Also the car parking spaces were a little on the small side making it awkward to get in and out of the vehicle.
5,0 Okay
Pros: It's close to the centre. Pleasant staff. Nice reception area.
Cons: Rooms tired. Beds need replacing now. We stayed at this hotel in 2015 and the bed was lovely then. Toppers have gone flat so not comfy. Pillows too soft. All ready for redecorating now everything was the same as in 2015. Very dark colours. .No tea making facilities .
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff were very polite, I had requested gluten free bread for the breakfast and got three little rolls that were lovely.
Cons: The beds were a little hard, and brits will be disappointed not to see no kettle/tea in the room but we expected it.
7,9 Good
Pros: Clean, comfortable stay, safe enclosed parking, close to centre for some wonderful restaurants
Cons: All good

Cons: No coffee machine in room
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very central and very comfortable
6,0 Good
Pros: Quaint hotel in the centre of Rouen
Cons: No internet in the room, hard to find when driving
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Dandy is an excellent place to stay in Rouen, primarily because of its excellent staff. Stella, on reception was extremely helpful and her English (though I was trying to practice my French) was superb. Breakfast was lovely and not too expensive - and my room was clean and elegant. Add a superb central location and you have any number of very good reasons for choosing this hotel.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Location was OK but there are other hotels around with similar locations close to the centre!
Cons: The breakfast was almost non existent! One Chinese family of 3 had eaten what ever meat there was, no more was brought out until we were leaving. There was one very small bottle of orange juice, the coffee was from a machine and pretty poor, this was NOT a continental breakfast that I paid for! I had one bread roll with a a soft cheese triangle and 75 ml of orange juice! A joke. I emailed about parking and had no response! Paid €15 in a car park 400 metres away.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The relation price and quality.
Cons: The only negative point is the shower. It is always the same problem I find in many French facilities. The showerhead is connected to a hose, instead of pipes, but that should not be a problem if there was a support for the shower-head. Unfortunately, there is none; I guess that is a way for forcing showers to be shorter given the incovenience the lack of the support causes (you need to keep holding the showerhead all the time. ... Perhaps it indeeds save water but I really value a good shower.
7,0 Good
Pros: I didn't have the breakfast. Staff were lovely and very friendly.
Cons: The very loud music and noise from the café just opposite went on until 3am. I was right in the front room. Even with the double glazing the noise was awful.

Cons: A bath in place of a shower would be lovely.
7,5 Good
Pros: It's location
Cons: Paying to park
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good value for money, 10 mon wall to old town with good choice of bars/eateries. Would definitely stay again
Cons: Shower cubicle very small, but this is being over-picky... does the job adequately and is modern and clean
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location very close to the center.
Cons: I didn't like the bathroom, is very small. The space to have shower is horrible not fit an obese person.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: well laid out, more than ample for overnight stay
Cons: only gripe for us was the size of the shower cubicle, not easy to move around etc, ok for children but not for your average size adult.
