9,6 Excellent
Pros: The lodge provides all the comforts you could want for your family. Our apartment was thoughtfully designed with a living area separated by an entrance hallway from the bedrooms, two toilets, comfortable beds, and a kitchen which has all the basics you will need to prepare meals (we had friends over and utilize the fondu pot). The mounting views from the living space and balcony are stunning, especially at night when the stars come out. The hospitality was warm and breakfast buffet generous, with eggs cooked to order.
Cons: nothing could have been better!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. In particular the care that Sibylle reaerves to her guests, making you feel at home
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The overall ambience of the hotel is cozy and I was overwhelmed by their hospitality and charm. There is coffee-machine in your room and teakettle as well. Washing machine and dryer are underground. Location is good, also the whole town is not so big. If you want to go Saas-fee and there is still a room available, just book it
Cons: Wellness area may stay open till half or one hour later.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great accommodation and wonderful hosts who make you feel at home
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very warm welcome Excellent facilities and cleanliness Nothing too much trouble Loved the breakfast
Cons: Liked everything
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Had a large balcony with lawn chairs as well as table and chairs. Asked if would like eggs for breakfast what kind ( scrambled, sunny side up) Had local cheese and sausage which was really nice to try. The owners Sybille & Pesche Meyer are really friendly and very helpful with tips on what to see and do.

Pros: Hospitality out of this world
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very helpful with suggestions for hikes and views for the short time we had in Saas Fee. We wish we had planned more time there. The breakfast was the best we had in over a week in Switzerland and their special dinner was an added plus. I would highly recommend it.
Cons: A little more space for luggage would be nice. The safe took up a lot of room in the closet.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb place to stay, we really enjoyed the quiet location and terrific views from our balcony. The owners and their team are super helpful and friendly and the rooms have everything you need. Saas Fee exceeded our expectations and is a great and well cared for village where everyone makes you feel very welcome.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing owners and welcoming atmosphere, great breakfast, clean, and overall a great value.
Cons: My bed’s matters was certainly on the thinner side and in combination with the bed overall made too much squeaky noises.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very nice small hotel with extremely friendly and helpful owners Daniela and Rolf Bumann, as well as the rest of the small staff. We were met by Rolf at the bus station and he also gave us a ride back. He also gave us several excellent suggestions for hikes. Our room was not large but perfectly adequate. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The breakfast offered by the hotel was excellent. Saas Fee is a very picturesque village. It is extremely convenient that during the Summer it provides the guests with the so-called "citizens pass" which enables one to use (almost) all lifts and buses for free and thus opens endless possibilities for hiking in the beautiful surrounding Alps, for hikers of all levels.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and staff were extremely personable and helpful. The breakfast was great. The Walliserabend meal was thoroughly enjoyable. It was our favorite place to stay on our vacation.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Breakfast good. Great location.

Pros: Gear location with a fantastic breakfast! Clean and comfortable.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Patrick, owner/operator, made us feel right at home. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The staff were also lovely, and the included breakfast was great. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk from the bus terminal, which we found very convenient. Perhaps best of all, one room fit our family of five perfectly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly welcome from the owners and staff, the good choice on the breakfast buffet, (even though we were usually the last) and the excellent dinners each evening. Our room was spotlessly clean with a wonderful view from the balcony. See photo attached.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and that any questions we had about the area were answered. Also, the food was outstanding. This includes both the wide number of breakfast and dinner choices. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was having to leave. It was like saying goodbye to family.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Best steak ever had was served at their own restaurant. Staff at the reception was helpful and friendly. Hospitality at the restaurant from their staff was great. My wife forgot the DSLR camera at the hotel. But they sincerely came down hill and returned to us in 5 minutes time before we left the Parking area. Honest people. Even after check-out they gave us free ride on their electric car. Best hotel and great people there. We loved it.
7,9 Good
Pros: Bed, shower and location
Cons: Constant ventilation noise. Could only turn off the lights from my bed side :)...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Both the dinner and the breakfast at the Walliserkanne restaurant were fabulous. The location of the hotel is great, i.e. just a five-minute walk from the village parking and a stone's throw away from all the village's shops and other attractions. The walking routes around with all the panoramic views are simply fantastic. We are already planning our next stay at the same establishment.
Cons: Hard, if not impossible to say...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very accommodating and attentive.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The superior room was excellent with a really good bath and plenty of room..
Cons: Only downside is that there is not a decent boot room at the hotel, but one by the main lift. This means messing about when you arrive and leave to get all your gear in the right place. Ski buses are too small and infrequent which is a review of Saas Fee and not the hotel.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Easy check-in/out, polite staff, clean rooms, good value for Saas-Fee
Cons: WiFi was a bit weak in my room at the end of the corridor; hot options for breakfast would have been ideal; but that’s all
9,6 Excellent
Pros: position and style
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the staff and Freida were outstanding. Breakfast had many options and all was delicious, especially the goat cheese from the goats of nearby Hannig. Hotel provided shuttle service from bus station was offered but we decided to walk with baggage. It's uphill and in the future will definitely use the shuttle provided. We were there in the fall and view was beautiful from our room overlooking Saas-Fee and the Mountains. The tourist pass provided free of charge was of great use to us for bus and gondola rides.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely family hotel. I found it cosy and welcoming. The lady at the desk was really nice. Bonus I could have a sauna after a long walk. Wifi robust.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The host, Franziska! And her hospitality (my apologies if I have got the name wrong). I was pleasantly surprised to see her moving from table to table from 7 am to 10 am & checking with everyone if everything was fine. I have not seen something like this in any hotel (I have stayed in tens of Hotels in Europe). She checked with me thrice. It was so nice & welcoming. Though there was help, I could see her moving around with kettle & other things serving to everyone. She has a genuine smile. What's more, when my friend was late for breakfast (came down at 10.15 am), he was still served hot coffee & croissant. Wonderful! The breakfast spread was very nice (Muesli & Dry Fruits were very nice & so was the coffee). Had stomach full! Toiletries in the bathroom were minimalist but of good quality. A woman's thoughtful touch could be seen easily in everything. And, she can speak English, which is a big bonus for travelers like us. View from the balcony was awesome!

Cons: All was perfect, nothing negative
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect - from the check-in where we were treated with a glass of sparking wine until the friendly check out. The room was spacious and comfortable, tastefully decorated and very quiet. The room's terrace has sun chairs and offers an amazing view at the surrounding mountains. The breakfast is luxurious and the service was top notch. There is a great spa area with a pool and saunas which we greatly appreciated after long hikes. The best mountain hotel we stayed in!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Really pleasant staff, gave us a free upgrade into a bigger room with a huge bed. Opened the Sauna early as it was a rainy day. Enjoyed the whirlpool. Great Massages possible. Great value for money, would go there again any-time.
Cons: The steam room missed a hose to wash the benches. This is normally available for hygenic purposes. Also the swimming pool is a bit short but OK!

Pros: The distance to the Ski-lift and the possibility to basically ski directly to the entrance of the hotel is unbeatable. The breakfast was really rich and tasty. Staff and owner absolutely friendly, picked us up from the parking before we checked in and drove us back to the car after we checked out. Check-In was supposed to be at 14PM but we got checked in already at 12PM once we arrived. Definitely recommend to stay here if in Saas-Fee!

Pros: Evelyn was a gracious host. Breakfast was great. Hotel was just two blocks away from trails to hannig and gletchersee
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel, in the best possible place. One can put the skis and slide to the lifts from the hotel. What a bonus! But the most important thing is the wonderful people that run it with so much care and professionalism. We had some troubles arriving in Saas Fee on time and the owner was amazingly helpful. Very clean, comfortable and very friendly family hotel with unpretentious proper human hospitality. The breakfast was beautiful, great eggs made to order and fresh coffee, served perfectly and always with a warm smile. This was our third time in Saas Fee and for our next visits we will be staying in the Jägerhof.

Pros: Friendly & helpful service from reception staff & chauffeur of electric car, who collected us from village parking garage to hotel & to ski slopes. Very comfortable room & beds , well laid out room in wood & high quality bathroom. Exceptional price deal. Modern ski room with heated lockers for boots & helmets
Cons: Bar was shut during stay. Nowhere to relax in hotel other than bedroom.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: service, design of the room
Cons: shower, no pressure with the water, lightening not enough in the bathroom
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent offering and ambiance.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good location ... Rooms were large and nice. Ski room facilities were very good. The restaurant Dom Stübli was very cozy and food was very good. Dom bar was nice for those that enjoy a bar atmosphere.
Cons: Halfpension is not worth it for anyone with particular taste - half board gave no alternative options to guests - you only got what they served with no exceptions. I do not eat red meat and every evening i was stuck with eating just the accompanying veggies as they didnt/couldnt get chicken or a fish alternative. Breakfaat buffet was average .. Rooms were poorly attended to by staff - empty soap containers werent filled for days; shampoo wasnt refilled/replaced daily.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. It was a nice cosy room. Very clean and with everything you need. Good breakfast. And a great host (Carlos, the Portuguese guy) who was always available if we needed anything.
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect

7,1 Good
Pros: The view from the balcony was nice. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Free shuttle service.
Cons: Despite having a "Do not Disturb" sign left out on the door, the cleaner still knocked just after 9am, waking me up, and even after I shouted that I didn't want cleaning, she opened the door and came in. This happened on the two occasions when I was trying to have a lay in after 9am. The location was a little bit too far out of town for me. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Rooms were a little dated. Breakfast was quite basic. Perhaps the jacuzzi should have an age limit, on trying to relax after a day of skiing, there was a ~3 year old in there with his mum, splashing and stamping about, shouting, knocking into me and generally using it as playpen.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and calm position, just in front of last stop of “ski train/bus” riding through the village and to the pistes. Super friendly and flexible staff! Room with super view of the peaks :-) Saas Fee is a great ski resort with guaranteed snow, great ski runs and no cars ;-). See you next year!!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the hotel were wonderfully hospitable and helpful.
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: My purpose was to ski and had my dog with me and she were to stay in the room while I ski. And it went very well with that, as the owners also have a dog. Owner is a very kind and helpful family. Hotel is in a very quiet and relaxing area. The room had a great view was good with TV. The bed is a bit dated but not that it was uncomfy. Amazing breakfast-lots of variety and all was yum.Coffee also was very nice. Spa and sauna was a bonus to have after a long day of ski.
Cons: If you are going to Saas fee with the aim of skiing this part of the village is not close to the facilities and the transport in the village is not ideal.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, comfy beds, very quiet, helpful hotel hosts.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: You just can't fault this hotel. Everythig was just perfect. No extra charges for two children, same price as two adults. Good breakfast. Large room.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here for 5 nights with a 9 months old baby and had zero problems. This is a wonderful hotel. Clean, silent, warm, cozy and very family friendly. Breakfast is simple but fresh and high quality. During a day you can get tea (free). There is also area for kids to play with plenty of toys. Hosts are very kind and helpful. Would definitely come back!
Cons: snowstorm :)

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful hotel with an extremely friendly, professional staff. Service = top!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here August and loved our stay! I was impressed by the hotels customer service before we arrived because they sent us and email with very specific directions on how to reach them several days before we left. I've never had a hotel do this and we REALLY appreciated it! The hotel is in a great location. Our room was spotless, we had two balcony's to enjoy the spectacular view. We had our dog with us and the provided two bowls and a mat. We did pay a fee for her, but I felt the fee was reasonable. All of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Nothing ever seems too much for them. The breakfast buffet was very nice. One day we had to leave early so they had some breakfast available for us....so nice!!! We didn't have half pension, but ate at their restaurant attached to the hotel. It was good. Of course it's expensive, but it's Switzerland so we expected to pay a higher price. Show less
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I was picked up in very short time from the parking space. Anything was handled for me and I got a very warm welcome. The room was adequat in size. The restaurant in the building was very good and is a visit worth itself.
Cons: Please invest in some better LED light bulbs. They will last a long time, so why save there? I could shake my hand and if felt like a stroboscope (from what I can remeber, same in the restaurant and troughout the building). I had no hot water in the morning. I assume it was due to other guests showering. As I tried later it was there.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff and attention to detail. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice Huge family room
Cons: The indoor pool was freezing, so much so you couldnt swim in it.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly staff, wonderful balconies with amazing views, free soft drinks in minibar, good range of English channels on TV
Cons: No lift to our room, couldn’t stop shower flooding bathroom floor, building site next door.

Cons: Heating not enough

Pros: The hostel is really modern and just a stone throw away from the bus terminal which makes it really convenient. The room ( I was in a 4-dorm) was comfy and had an en-suite shower and toilet which is great. Lockers in the rooms you locked with your door key (well it is a bracelet thing) so that was great too. Breakfast - good selection of cereals, bread and jams etc. Would definitely consider staying here again.
Cons: Check-in was from 3pm, and although I checked in around noon and went to the wellness/spa the room key was not active until 3pm. Luckily for me, after asking, the lady on reception activated it for me a little bit earlier - all I wanted to do was dump my rucksack off.

Pros: Everything. In particular the care that Sibylle reaerves to her guests, making you feel at home

Pros: Owner did take special care to pick us up and bring us to the bus station. Did check several times, asking us if everything is right. A most beautiful apartment with a million dollar view. Loved the town and the free pass to use all transports up the mountains. Year-long skiing at 10,000 ft. used by ski racers from all over the world. Kudos to Jochen Bumann for managing a great vacation at a most beautiful resort.
Cons: Not a single negative comment could be made for this beautiful complex and their staff. Everything was perfect.

Pros: The apartment house is perfectly positioned in the village, the apartments are very spacious, cozy and well equipped. The host was extremely understanding and friendly, after one of us accidentally broke a very expensive piece of cooking appliance, there were no complications and the host ensured that the he will handle it through the insurance, which was a huge relief for us all and did not ruin our short vacation in the beautiful village of Saas-Fee. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone who would like to stay in a price-perfomance accommodation

Pros: Super location, perfect for our holiday. Very helpful and knowledgeable host. I lost my lift pass and the owner had a replacement within an hour.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the appartment is fantastic as well as the lay-out of the appartment. Two spacious bedrooms with a spacious bathroom, a very nice lounge area with tv/dstv, good wifi reception and very nice and well equipped kitchen (with a spacious breakfast nook) made the appartment a real 'home away from home'. The host is very friendly and supplied all the information and (ski) services we needed for our holiday in Saas-Fee. We highly recommend Helvetia for a summer or winter holiday for families and/or friends (all restaurants, ski-lifts and super market are only a 5min walk away). We'll definitely will be back!
