Location!! Big room comfortable bed, remodeled, clean Nice staff.
Loved that we were able to practically book the whole floor of appartments just for our families . We had 15 people in total . 7 rooms taken . Loved the fact that everything was close by and easy to get around .
The beds were really hard and hard to sleep on. The breakfast was terrible . The room only had 3 tables and if we were all in for breakfast at the same time we wouldn’t fit . My nubby and I were left standing 2 mornings in a row eating . There wasn’t much selection . The worst breakfast of all our stay through Italy .
The staff and specially Milli who used to prepare breakfast was so warm . She taught us some Italian too :) The property is Amazing location wise, cozy and clean . It was the first place once we landed in Italy and was totally comfortable homey and one of the best . Breakfast was good too . I loved her cappuccino , although breakfast items could add more variety but we still liked it ! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends !
Mattress were a little soft for us but that’s because we are used to hard but no big deal . We would have liked the windows to be a bit more insulated to cancel the noise out .
The staff was friendly.
AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE! The first problem occurred when on the hottest day of the year there was no air conditioning in the room and the refrigerator was not working. We were forced to open the windows and all the noise from the street could be heard loud and clear. My wife and I could not sleep all night because of this. The following morning we woke to find breakfast was in extremely small portions and if you arrived late there was little or nothing left. They did not replenish any food on the buffet table once it was gone. The food was cheap consisting of some slices of salami, slices of cheese, some bread rolls, juices, milk, cookies, coffee on request, and eggs on request. The building is really old (1910's) and the elevator is an old style where you manually close the door and didn't work if the last person who used it didn't close the door to reset the system. So if your room is on the third or fourth floor, you were stuck hauling your luggage up 3 or 4 flights of stairs to your room. I was really surprised to find that when I asked about getting some ice to bring to my room the concierge look at me baffled then went to the refrigerator to unpack ice cubes from a freezer dispenser. (When I had traveled to Morocco the hotel had an ice machine! And that country is 25 years behind the modern world!). It was obvious the beds and the furniture seemed to have been from IKEA and of low quality. The bed was just uncomfortable to sleep in. For the money we paid per night ($200) the stay was just not worth it. Their pictures make the rooms look nice however we were just not impressed. What bothered me most was that they over charged us for the tourist tax. We didn't find out until we came home and started to look into our expense list. They charged us TWICE what we should have paid.
The staff especially Georgia was so accommodating to us nothing was too much trouble.
Found the breakfast very limited
