Lovely hotel. Staff nice and friendly. Clean rooms and facilities. Nice food
The way the hotel had charged me was most unreasonable. It was not clear. I thought I was paying at the hotel. I was charged weeks before a holding fee. This was fine. However, on arrival, I had to pay a deposit. Both totaling £227. This was returned to me many, many days after I left the hotel (as promised). This meant I was short (having to borrow money from my mother for the money I needed moving onto my next location - not everyone is as fortunate as me). The when leaving I had to pay for the stay. Which was £265. So in total, the amount taken was just short of £500. I cannot understand why the hotel kept the first £227 and then made up the difference of £38 leaving me with the money for the rest of my holiday. I did leave the hotel in tears so while I cannot fault the hotel itself, this experience wasn't a good one. This did not happen at other hotels on my 4 locations. Perhaps the hotel would look to reviewing this policy to avoid this happening.
Conveniently located less then 10 mins walk from the station and very accessible with a suitcase I would definitely recommend the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choices.
The neighbourhood looks seedy but the characters are harmless.
Nice quiet and safe location. A lot of amenities within easy walk.
The breakfast could hsve been varied. The same thing was repeated every day

Nice, clean hotel with nice rooms.
Breakfast could improve.
