Wonderful property, especially the rooms. The roof terrace has a wonderful view, could do with adequate staffing to make it fully operational..
Beautiful, iconic hotel in the greatest, most cinematic location in Rome. A perfect combination of old school formality and an updated richly adorned decor. Wonderfully attentive service. Truly the best hotel in Rome.
The location at the top of the Spanish Steps was as good as one could expect. Walking distance to several historical locations, steps from great restaurants and shopping, and the view from our room facing the Spanish Steps, as well as that from the 7th floor terrace, and the restaurant Imago, was second to none. Everything was first class from the time we stepped out of our cab through check-out. The lounge was comfortable, well-staffed, and a fun but relaxing environment. Our room was simply spectacular and felt like our own apartment in Rome. The on-site spa was phenomenal and the staff was competent and friendly. We had dinner at the Michelin-starred Imago and it was an experience like none other.
There was one concierge during the day who didn't seem to have time for us. He was the only member of the staff who treated us that way. We asked for help one morning with reserving spa and Imago reservations and he basically told us where the spa was so we could do it ourselves. That was fine, but not what I would have expected from the rest of our experience. All of the other staff, and I mean all of them, were so accommodating, helpful, friendly, welcoming and warm.
The hotel was beautiful. The staff....amazing!!
The staff was amazing. They all knew our names from the moment we checked in and made us feel very welcome and at home. The concierge provided excellent recommendations for food which was always spectacular and reasonably priced. The Palm Court bar is an Art Deco fantasy. Our BEST stay in Rome, and we have been many times. We will only stay at the Hassler in the future!
