Breakfast was good. The toilet & shower worked very well. The room appeared very clean, much better than average.
The bed was a bit hard. The windows could not be totally covered to make the room dark. The air was a bit humid with a strange smell but it was probably fine anyway. During the winter, the stone floor would probably have been very cold.
Breakfast options were good. Room was hot and could not adjust it. Lots of steps since we were put on top floor and no elevator to that last flight of curved stairs to our room. Hotel did have a nice rooftop patio.
Site indicated they would provide ride to subway/metro, but front desk wouldn't provide. The directions from bus to hotel on the site need revising since street name after you get off bus is not shown on any signs and even using google maps did not help since road name changed. Even locals we asked could did not know the location of the road that hotel directions said to first take and a local's GPS also did not find it. Through trial and error we found it.
- Friendly staffs - Quiet location - Airport transfer service - Free drinks as birthday gift - Air conditioning
The breakfast was perfect, with just the right balance of sweet and salty, and everything was fresh and good. The hosts are very nice and are happy to offer advice and insights to help you make the most of your time in their city. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and tastefully furnished. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to this beautiful city.
The hotel staff was fantastic.
The Best Western ARS Hotel is a remarkable example of a building designed in the immediate recovery of the early 20th Century and consists of 2 vintage elegant villas surrounded by a nice garden. The quiet location allows to rest between meetings and conferences or to spend a pleasant holiday in the eternal city. The very luminous rooms are furnished with wooden furniture and offer private bath, air- conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, direct dial telephone, WI-FI connection and a safety box. Guests have also access to a terrace, car park, meeting room, bar and a reading lounge with TV and Internet point. The Ars Hotel is located approx 15 minutes far from the Termini station and is very well connected by subway either to the city centre or to Fiumicino & Ciampino airports. The Best Western Ars Hotel is located in the green district of Monte Sacro called "Garden City". The surrounding area is full of shops, restaurants and numerous offices.
