The location of this hotel is very nice! It is close to the Piramide. You can go by walk to Colleseo, it’s around 2km from the hotel. As well there is a bus station where you can take direct bus to Vaticano (number 23). Around many places for eating. The hotel is located in a very nice building. 9 level. Our room was very good, especially we liked bathroom and balcony. Workers of the hotel are nice men too. They provide good breakfast and pleasant conversations. Advice you it. Hope to back to Rome as soon as possible and book this hotel again.
Good accessibility. Close to metro station, train station and bus stop right in front of the house.
1- the room did not look anything like its pictures on this website! pictures are fake and edited (see photos). we were so excited to see our room, but when we saw it we were shocked. very old rooms. cold and depressing. terrible start for our vacation. 2- the sink in the toilet was blocked! terrible feeling while brushing teeth or washing your face (see photos). 3- the door of the shower was broken. also the shower head (see photos). 3- the air conditioning inside the room was so old it couldn't even warm itself, let alone the room. 4- I am very easy-going when it comes to travelling. I was surprised by lots of good comments on this site for this property. I have to say although I am very easy-going, I recommend you NOT to ruin your experience in Rome by staying here.
Location was just 2 stops away from the colosseum. 5-6 mins walking distance from the nearest bus/metro station. Could find restaurants nearby. Quite big room with balcony, hot water, AC, King size bed, bath tub, etc.
24*7 check-in not available. Meaning, you have to pay extra 15€ for late check-in (after 21:00). Is it common in Italy? Also, 15€ for state tax, which was again unexpected! It was really difficult to locate the door to the entrance. There was no "B&B Pimamide Terrace" name plate in the entrance. The staff came outside to pick us! Nearby area was not so clean, garbage everywhere. Imagine when it rains here! There were only minimal choices for breakfast: Cake and Sweet bread, Orange Juice and coffee. Same breakfast everyday! No fruits, Bread sandwich, or eggs.
We enjoyed a lot staying in Massimo's place - it was a beautiful experience living for 5 days in Rome, right near the Piramide subway station, in a very large double room (with private bathroom) and a cozy terrace at the 9th floor. Although there was a misunderstanding and the arrival hour was earlier than announced, Massimo was very thoughtful and he took care of our needs, checking us in right away, without any additional waiting. Also, we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco, celebrating our recent marriage. We were truly amazed by Massimo and Bruno's gesture and we're very happy to have chosen this apartment.
Proximity to the main points of interest. Nice old personnel.
Extremely noisy and uncomfortable apartment. Not allowed to use the kitchen. Very poor breakfast. Bad coffee.
With a stay at B&B Piramide Terrace in Rome (Ostiense), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Circus Maximus and Baths of Caracalla. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
