quiet, friendly staff
not good value for money; a bit overpriced
Nice and very comfortable hotel, even in winter. Friendly staff, very kind and willing to help. Public transport works 'Roman', when it finally comes - it comes, and then it is fast :-).
The only drawback is the problem of many hotels, the bathroom should be the hottest room but no heating at all. In the colder times of the year, a big problem, certainly smaller in the summer.
The room is very basic but good value for money in terms of spaciousness, privacy. Nice large bathrooms and garden views, room has airconditioning, tv and nice large windows. The restaurant gives a romantic atmosphere and the breakfast was good considering the price. Cold meat, cheese, boiled eggs, self help coffee and pastries. Reception is very helpful with information to use public transport and any other matters. Excellent location to catch the bus to the station from where you can go anywhere. Nice, private but helpful place.
Like most exteriors of buildings in Rome, the exterior could donwith some TLC.
Beautiful view, simple yet elegant and everything you need. I travelled alone yet I felt safe and found the staff to be very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was brilliant everyday - a little unusual for us having a sweet breakfast pretty much every day but there were some savoury options. Overall the rooms were comfy and had everything. The food was also brilliant both nights we ate there, the third was in Rome city. The pool was good, enjoyed the jets on the back after a day of walking!
Missing a kettle, this could have been added for extra luxury and comfort as we do enjoy a tea and coffee at anytime and this was not provided. Also could have had some more toiletries like shower gel and cups.
