Pros (+) The location here is perfect - close to the beach, walk to anything in central Rockport -- leave the car at the hotel. If you want luxurious amenities, go elsewhere (& pay more)

Pros (+) Owner and staff friendly, helpful, relaxed. Not fancy, but clean, well-run, top notch location. Dedicated parking provided. Laid back.

Pros (+) The location is terrific. The owner -- who has a lot on his plate during the summer months -- pays close attention to all the details, is accommodating and friendly. He will make adjustments wherever possible. Not a pretentious or especially fancy place, but everything is clean, up to date, and in good repair. Nice to be in an independently owned motel. AND it has parking.
Cons (-) For anyone (not me) used to the palatial bathrooms in some hotels, those at Eagle House are small, with the sink outside the bathroom proper. Somewhat utilitarian I guess, but just fine with us.
