Pros (+) Across the street from the beach. It makes it easy to have a beach day with out worrying about logistics. Just make a right out the door and cross the street. There is no Ocean view though. But you won't need one because you're so close. The staff is very friendly.
Cons (-) They tacked on a service fee on check-in. The price they advertise on booking sites are false. I understand that most hotels have check-in at 3 pm. But most will still try to get you a room as soon as possible. Oceano Copacabana literally didn't give me a room until 3 pm. The wait seemed more for company policy rather than for cleaning.
