Cons: The bus dropped us off somewhere on the highway about 6 miles from the hotel , when we called the hotel and ask for help they Just told us to figuren IT out ourselfs , i stayed here before some years ago but this time i was a little dissapointed , also cleaning could be improved

Cons: At check-in, one female staff was impolite. It is probably from her bad character. She asked guest to do something by throwing things but without saying anything. How can she be allowed to work at front! Often must wait for long for the two elevators.

Pros: Cozy room, nice breakfast, superb warm welcome from porter staffs upon arrival. our family love swimming pool games room bowling lane and bar.

Cons: It is ridiculous to be charged for broken one glass(35 THB.) while we paid 15,000 THB. for our stays.

Pros: The hotel is very central and fantastic value. The foyer is impressive the staff exceptional .The pool area is immaculate and the pool huge , the gym facilities looked amazing too, although we didn’t use it. Breakfast is a feast with and incredible choice of Thai and continental foods .The night market is literally just outside the hotel along with Tesco Lotus .We will definitely stay at this hotel again . PJ on reception was so helpful he even took us to the bus station with the hotel transport ..thank you all we highly recommend this hotel .

Pros: Passing through Rayong en route to Koh Samet. This was a great place to break the journey.

Cons: Bed-blanket is a sick joke, much too short, one cannot cover him/herself, feet will also be in the open. Staff in Restaurant needs urgent training, very un-attentive. Check-out a lengthy wait as 2 staff are clearly overworked if more than 3 persons check out at the same time

Pros: A lovely hotel right by the beach. Had such a relaxed time and would love to come back. The room was a great size, bed very comfortable and the views stunning.

Cons: The pool is too tiny it's can call kids pool. This is under expect from the picture that show on website. We are unlucky moving 2times. First room air condition doesn't work at all which they shouldn't let us live in that room. Second room probably have gecko, we hear it's noice. The third room is perfect. That's almost 10pm when we can get good rest. However they're pleasure to let we move as we want but why they let us in the room that is not good one at first. We're lucky that there are available room to move.

Cons: No information of surrounding area, 4K to ferry port to Ko Samut but no details of ferry times etc and staff speaking very little English, as there were a number of Europeans staying at the hotel this would be helpful, breakfast adequate at best, very little choice compared to the other hotels we have stayed in Thailand. We stayed 3 nights on route from Hua Hin to Ko Samut, the area is fine as a stop off but not really a place to stay longer. The beach was very dirty, not the hotels fault for what is washed up w the tide but it would help if they made an effort to clean their area

Pros: Great location, right on the beach! Very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Big airy rooms, very good view and sitting area outside the room.

Cons: Breakfast was with very limited options and got repetitive. Not enough illumination in the room, i suspect there were concealed lights that didn't work since a few switches did nothing when they were turned on or off. Had repetitive problems with the AC the first two nights but the staff rectified the same promptly. No English TV Channels.

Cons: Staff during breakfast served coffee or eggs not because they truly cared whether your coffee was hot or if you’d like milk or sugar- the true essence of service; they served because it was their job. You could feel that every morning. It would feel totally different if you were greeted by staff members who truly loved their job, wanted to be of service, loved to serve their guests and ensured you had a wonderful breakfast. That makes all the difference from good service to Great service.

Pros: Everything at this resort is as perfect a place to relax and enjoy yourself. I travel to many resorts in Thailand and have found that the Novotel in Rayong is far superior to any other place that I have stayed to include 5 star resorts. We stay there so often we feel like family to the staff and they always remember us. We will see you again for Christmas this year.

Cons: Actually there isn't much to dislike at this resort. I praise every time we go there. Would like for you to upgrade your amenities in the bathroom to equipment in the shower to hold soap/shampoo/conditioners, this would be more environmental instead of disposable plastic containers, you would contribute much more to the environment this way.

Pros: The location close to the beach is great . Lovely to see Thai families enjoying the sea and surroundings in a relaxed atmosphere and where there were no mounds of litter to deal with along the beach . At the hotel, the swimming pool looked clean and well maintained . Away from the immediate shore line ,under the shady trees it is possible to eat from one of a number of food carts that prepare fresh Thai food and the prawns I enjoyed were delicious . Close proximity to Ban Phe and the ferry to Koh Samet .

Cons: The overall maintenance of the hotel needs to be improved if this is going to move from the Ok status to good+ . The design concepts are interesting , reflecting the marine setting , however paint on concrete needs up keep or it tends to look shabby very quickly. Simple things such as clean shower curtains and proper bathroom cleaning should be standard practice if the hotel really wants to charge what it does . With a little more tlc, this could be so much better . Staffing of the front desk was rather hit and miss . Sometimes no one at all , sometimes some young children playing computer games and when I checked in there was a young couple who were able to explain the basics of my room orientation but due to my limited Thai my questions related to fhe locality remained unasked . Although the seafront room was striking , sleep was only achieved with my headphones on during the first night due to the makeshift concert / karaoke that was taking place right opposite on the shore front . The unmanned desk , meant discussing a move to a bungalow away from the road was not possible . The staff in the restaurant next door were pleasant and obviously cater for most of the hotel guests , especially for breakfast , as the hotel does not have its own facilities . A list of restaurants in the area and where the nearest ATM, pharmacy , where to hire a bike , long board etc would be useful information to have . The beach looks amazing , the sea appeared clear, with lots of young children in tyre inner tubes enjoying the gentle waves and walking out to swim , with sand underfoot was a delight and thankfully I encountered no jellyfish during my New Year stay , however the sand flies were merciless After day one , I had to give up on my beach walks along the beautiful expansive bay , seeking sanctuary on the pavement to escape from anymore bites . This is such a shame , but perhaps explains why the beaches here remain comparatively quiet.

Pros: This is a place that has gone through many seasons, but it's because it has some age that is has still a bit of the flair of a beach place where you can truly relax, because it's actually quiet, rooms are spacious, pool is not overrun, the beach is clean. You need a car to go there, because it's lying off the busy shores of Pattaya. Where elsewhere you are in the middle of a concrete jungle, here you're surrounded by greenery.

Cons: Sea water does not have the pristine look of the islands. But the beach is well taken care of and clean. The surroundings seem to be undergoing a phase of refurbishment.

Cons: The hotel room we stayed in was very dated. We went for breakfast at 9:30 and most of the food was Finnish and not replaced.

Cons: From staffs to facilities, they were not valued to money spent. This hotel may be used to be good (I guess), currently I don’t think I can recommend any good thing except for view and beach.

Pros: The hotel is comfortable despite looking rather tired. The room cleanliness was fair and the hotel breakfast was simple but good value. The lobby receptionists and staffs are able to speak good basic english and they are friendly and trustworthy.

Cons: The hotel did not supply the complimentary bottle water and the bathroom was rather dark and somewhat unpleasant to use. In addition, the hotel lobby did not have the air conditioning, which made it rather hot and humid given Thailand's tropical weather.

Pros: Very nice well maintained complex with large pool and garden. Large room nicely decorated, balcony with sea view. Reception very helpful, and the entire staff very friendly. Spa very pleasant. We have enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The air conditioning in the room 509 is loud, and the closet doors and bathroom door squeak and should be oiled. Both should be no problem to fix.

Pros: I have stayed here many times and in pasts really enjoyed it. But every stay the staff gets worst. This time the phone was broken in the room and a tukae lizard was in the room. Not a gecko but the lizard that bites.

Pros: I’ve stayed with friends on the weekend there , staffs friendly , beach very close and clean , quiet and not too messy or so crowd from the people , room clean ,air conditioner working fine during we are stay there but the water seem like the water heater has some problem , it not getting warm only in ambient temperature that we can get , breakfast is nice , many dish for selection

Cons: 1.Too far away from the pier and no shuttle. You have to get there and leave on your own. (Taxi at the pier charge 500 for just 15 mins but we only spent 200 from bkk for 3 hrs) 2.The water from the tub is always dirty with mud inside. 3.The lock of the toilet is broken. 4.No safety guard at swimming pool and the beach the whole day, and you can only use the pool from 8-18. That's really short time.
