Pros: Very possitive impression. The staff were genuinly nice, capable, and willing to help and assist. 36 rooms or so, all with terraces or balconies. Cute pool area with beautiful plants. Breakfast was good. There were free transfers to nearby beachrs. Many small details indicate high quality of service. Amazing overall for the price.

Cons: Not a beachfront hotel.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary fruit on arrival was a nice detail :-) Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Room was very clean and spacious, with a nice terrace overlooking the pool. Free shuttle service to and from local beaches and interest points, which could be used on demand for Rawai and had set times to see the sunset or do morning or afternoon trips to Nai Harn or Yanui beaches.

Pros: Salt system of swimming pool is very good for guest's skin and hotel's staff is very nice

Restaurant has a good selection of vegetarian options for those who need it. Ideal place for a couple of days relaxing.

Cons: The fitness place across the road plays super loud music that kind of spoils the chill vibe, but only for a few hours a day.

Pros: The staff are all amazing, 10/10 for them. The breakfast was excellent, the facilities are good too and it is good value for money. The salt water pool is nice and the garden are pretty. Good WiFi, nice spa, late check out and a complimentary drink on arrival and 20% off the restaurant meal.

Cons: The pillows were very hard and the bed squeaked. The main road outside is busy, but only audible from the restaurant terrace, not the rooms. The rest was great- no complaints

Pros: Hotel offered free, daily, trips to local sites which was awesome... the pool was amazing and our balcony led straight into it. They did, however, give me and my brother upset stomachs after eating at the hotel restaurant. There's also not much locally unless you can handle walking far in the heat

Cons: Be careful for the water of the kitchen, don't use it even for boiling pasta, because I got an intoxication, it's very dirty. The owner provides clean and fresh water in every villa for free, use that one! :D Breakfasts are ok but too expensive and not worth the price.

Pros: Room was clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you will need. Everything about the place has been well thought out. Super king sized bed was comfortable and large modern walk in shower was a bonus. Loved having breakfast laid out ready for us on the patio when we woke up (additional cost but well worth the price) Great place to relax as a couple. The room was exactly as advertised and no hidden surprises. Vincent was a perfect host and made us feel very welcome arriving after a long day travelling. We will definitely be staying here again.

Cons: There was no staff at the reception at 9am. I wanted to extend my stay but I couldn’t contact anyone. I called all the numbers but no answered. I had to make another reservation online. I met the woman who checked me in a couple of times in the evening, but she didn’t tell me I had to pay the bill before I checked out. I didn’t like when my door was knocked at 11:35 pm. by the staff and asked me when I wanted to check out and how would I want to pay for the room because the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. I told her she could take it from the deposit. She told me she would be back with the money. She came back at 11:53pm!! She should have prepared the invoice and the money before she decided to knock on my door that late. Maybe it was my mistake that I didn’t ask her when is her working hours.

Cons: The location seemed somewhat out of the way and not by the beach. Minimal restaurants and tourist infrastructure in the immediate area. This does make for a quite relaxing environment.

Pros: Nice big rooms. It was nice to stay there. Also that was nice that dogs are welcome. If You have motorbike or car, its very good place to stay near Nai Harn.

Nothing going on at the hotel. Lovely pool but no atmosphere and only 10 sun beds. No hairdryer in the room or iron - as per description. No where to plug the kettle in.

Cons: My wife's grandmothers earrings disappeared one day in the room (remembered exactly to put them on the table, forgot to put in safe) and we went to see the owner. Her brother was a cop, so the cops came and suggested to take our statement in local police station. We were not sure if this was a good idea, so we started to talk about contacting the police in Pukhet town. The next day, the earrings magically reappeared on the room table...'they were found on the floor'...

Pros: I loved the manager, he does outstanding work helping in everything and makes sure guests have everything they need. Naiya Buree is a hidden gem in a quiet region of Phuket. I enjoyed my stay.

Pros: The staff are amazing. From the second you arrive (even the gate guard) you are treated amazingly! The check in was smooth, fast and no hassles. The Beachfront Villa was nice but not huge. I had arranged for a Floral Bath Set to be prepared to surprise my wife for her birthday and my main contact Thitiporn Jitharn (Koy) was brilliant. He told me it would be ready for 2pm and it was ready on the dot. I could not have asked for a better service. The food at the restaurant was great at lunch (the Cajun Chicken is lovely) but average at dinner time. There is a Thai restaurant on site but we did not visit this. I would recommend staying here every day of the week!

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the food at the restruarant was quite good as well and the rooms were very nice! Wifi worked quickly and it was only 1000 baht to the airport. Cons: They charged us 1750 baht extra per child per night , which is very high and excessive. The suit was good enough for sleeping 5 people but we forced to take extra bed. We have requested to waive at least one children charge without breakfast basis but they refused. It's harsh.

Pros: We loved staying at this property. It was remote and quiet. It would not suit everyone because of the location, but it was exactly what we needed. The rooms were spacious and even better than seen in the photos. There was a monkey at the resort sitting on the roof, just so. We loved the water in the pool as well as the beach. The restaurant at the hotel was lovely with comfy seating, wonderful view and good food. It was reasonably priced. Breakfast was awesome, and a bit more easy going atmosphere than in large hotels as there was plenty of seating and yet not an overload of seats. It felt a little homely in the morning with beautiful, I mean really beautiful view of the sea. Our teenage children loved the freedom and the space to chill. It felt very welcoming and safe.

Cons: We liked everything. Following our stay we went to Club Med for a few nights, which was great, but I missed this place a bit. I would have happily stayed there a few more days just to chill and relax. Highly recommend and if we return to Phuket, I would definitely stay there again.

I could not check in and check out, I left the money for the payment in the room and even money for 2 drinks I had, by myself... but it seems half of the money was lost, suddenly... the owner was very rude and aggressive, he was threatening me sending messages like if he wanted to fight me... he made me feel afraid. horrible experience. I’m glad I had not met him, who knows what he can do... At the end I’ll have to pay twice just to avoid problems. Be careful... I would never recommend this place

Pros: This is one of the best places I have stayed at in Phuket! I live in Thailand (Retired) and this is my fifth extended stay in Phuket. The owner is very friendly and gives very valuable advice. The best beach in Thailand is Nai Harn Beach and you can take the local bus to the beach for 30 baht! It takes only 5 minutes. Or you can walk there in 15 minutes.

Pros: It was lovely and quiet. We needed 2 rooms as we have 2 children. As we where given 2 top floor rooms (And there where no other guests on our level), it was almost like having our own appartment.

Pros: The reception and all the staff are outstanding. Especially mentioning Aya and Danaya. I have travelled the world and stayed in much more pricey hotels but I have never experienced that kind of hospitality and helpfulness. I had prejudices about Thailand but this hotel and its staff has changed it all. Well trained, helpful, attentive, polite people at the restaurants, pools and even the entrance gates. The hotel guard helped us crossing the street, even without asking. Even though it is needless it makes you feel important to them. I do not know it derives from training, their nature or religion. Everything worked on time, the Check in/out, transfers, buggy service within the hotel. The half board is a must. Do not miss it. Worth every penny! Good kitchen, flexible western and thai food selection. The beach is just 5 minutes walk from this hotel. You get beach towels and you can do little trips with the complementary bikes. You did great job! Thanks SUNSURI to make our stay so comfortable!

Cons: The hotel had better times, little tired but still very well maintained. The air-condition failed to work once, but one call to the reception solved in 15 minutes.

Pros: Set up high on the hillside rooms at Sunsuri have beautiful views of the grounds, pools and surrounds. The rooms have big, king sized beds and a huge selection of food on offer at breakfasts. Dinner meals are huge servings and the Thai meals are great value for money. Only a short stroll to the beach, which is a lovely bay with decent waves.

Cons: The views come at a price, lots of stairs, but there is a golf cart service to drive you to your room if you’re too tired to walk up. We used the opportunity to burn off what we ate and took the stairs. The mattresses on the beds in Thailand are very hard, we stayed in 3 hotels this time and found it was the case everywhere we stayed.

Pros: View was great , is a relaxing place to stay as there is not a lot to do in this area, staff are very helpful , the security guard on the front gate was the nicest man always greeted you every day with a huge smile and a warm welcome

Cons: Place is looking old , pillows were very uncomfortable and the bed wasn’t much better , shouldn’t have to pay 60baht for a bucket of ice as the fridge was struggling to keep drinks cold, after a few days the number of steps starts to wear thin price to pay for the view

Pros: The design of the resort was beautiful, the staff was extremely helpful and the location was close to the beach and quiet. When we had to leave for the airport at 2pm, they allowed is to check out then without additional cost. Breakfast was really good. Pool was awesome. If you are looking for a quiet get away with awesome service and great amenities, Rawai Palm Beach Resort is a must. I will definitely be coming back.

Cons: Hard to say ... well our room had limited places to plug in our electronic items. I also wish they had a laundry facility were you could do your laundry. No ocean view, though location it was very close to a beach.

Pros: Nice, large resort with great swimming pools. Excellent breakfast. The rooms are nicely decorated and the family rooms very well organised and spatious. We stayed 4 nights and might have stayed longer. Rawai is not too crowded.

Cons: Rawai beach is more for boats than for swimming. But there are free shuttle bus from the hotel to some other nice beaches nearby, like NaiHarn.

Pros: We had a horrible AirBnB experience in Rawai Beach and ended up booking our stay Rawai Palm Beach Resort same day for a two night stay. They could not have been friendlier and more attentive. They loved on our kids and were constantly checking to see if we were enjoying our stay. The pool is amazing! Swim up bar and it is so large you virtually feel like you are alone in the pool. The kid’s beach pool is a nice addition as well. Family rooms are large and the main room has the ability to be closed off due to a sliding door, which we loved! Big shower, microwave and coffee are available in the room as well. We were very pleased with the room. We did not utilize any maid service so can not comment on that but the room was clean and pool/bathroom towels are provided. Breakfast is standard for the area. Not too many western options but enough to make do. All in all we HIGHLY recommend this resort and are so happy we made the switch from the awful AirBnB we had reserved. If we come back to the area we would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

Cons: The Pool didn't have enough sunbeds around it. What was around needed renewing as broken. Just outside the resort was a pump which we did know about from other reviews . It was ok didn't look nice when driving in. On the good side it Didn't smell . But is also used to dump garden and soul waste and when moved around makes alot of dust. Had to close windows and doors on afew occasions. The kitchen in our bungalow didn't have a toaster and didn't have enough mugs and bowls for 3 people. The sinks in both of the shower room didn't have a plugs and was broken. As for the bed it was the hardest bed we have ever slept in and we have been going to Thailand for over 15 years. They did put another quilt under neath but didn't make much difference. It did spoil our stay and for that reason we would not stay again.

Pros: As I was there to attend a family wedding the hotel was perfectly located for the wedding reception. It also has a lovely smallish pool with nice sun loungers around it. Nice and quite, but still close enough to the beach and other amenities.

Pros: Our room was a very good size with a good size fridge in the kitchen area, bonus was a dinning room table. The pool was a very good size and nice swimming. Staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful.

Cons: The bed was a little on the hard side but that's normal for Asia

Pros: location was great but you do need your own transport i.e. motorbike to truly enjoy the local area and beaches. But this does give you so much more enjoyment to explore.

Cons: mattress was a bit hard, but you cant have a mattress that pleases everyone

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay at Happy Elephant. Stuff is VERY helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was as nice as possible. The location was okay, a motorbike ride away from most beaches in Phuket. Many shops and restaurant around. The pool was kept clean, and the whole atmosphere was just beautiful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Cons: We didn't get to try the breakfast, as it was too expensive :(

Cons: So many bugs and spiders around. I have bitten by bedbugs first 2 days and i have a huge spider, lizards and lots of mosquitos in my room. I couldn't sleep because of fear of all these animals. Terrible experience.. had to changed my room but wasn't really the solution.

Pros: The room and view were amazing - definitely more than worth the money we paid. One of the days we even had a monkey appear on the balcony which was pleasant surprise! The hotel breakfast had lots of choice and was very close to the beaches - which had partys most nights.

Cons: The staff here speak very little English. Asked for food and drinks from the menu but the staff could barely understand. Asked for a taxi late at night , the reception said this is not possible. So we had to phone a taxi and book it ourselves with no problem. Staff not so friendly. I don't know why this is considered a 4 star hotel. Also the hills are so steep anyone with mobility issues would struggle here. Mini bar empty. Asked for 2 single beds , got one double bed. Staff shouting at 8 in the morning, constant banging of construction work through the day.

Pros: The views at this hotel are amazing. It's more inland so it's usually quiet. The hotel staff doesnt speak very good English but they seem to really be trying & willing to serve you. The rooms are decorated in a modern style and seem to be in pretty good condition. There's a rain shower with hot water and mini fridge. We stayed in their cheapest room and it was fine not having a bathtub or jacuzzi in there. There's a/c in all the rooms, and a restaurant with good tasting food. They have laundry service and room service. We were there in October and at one point, I swear we were the only guests there. AKA Gym is just down the hill (you can walk) and they have good classes and a nice little cafe. You definitely need a motorbike to get around in Thailand (& you can rent or buy). I most likely would stay at this hotel again. It's a decent price and it was pretty clean. I don't recommend for people that have a hard time walking.

Cons: To get to the lobby is a hike and to get to the room is even more of a hike. Originally we were in 706 and it was 81 steep stairs to get there. Room 306 is only 45 steep stairs but still sucks going through all that multiple times a day. There is no elevator. When we first arrived there was no plumbing for 2 days. Wifi was shoddy in the room most of the time, and that was the reason they moved us to 306 (didn't work at all in the higher room). The beds are really hard. They are also just two beds pushed together on a platform. They give you clean towels every day but never change your sheets. Most linens have some sort of stain on them. There were ants in the bed inspite of no food. It seemed like there was something not working in every room. 706 was the wifi and 306 was the rain shower & the toilet barely flushed. Unless, you absolutely need a bathtub I wouldn't do one of the upgrades. And the restaurant is quite pricey compared to the little thai places off the main road; they get you with vat and service fees. My biggest complaints are: the steep stairs, hard beds, bad wifi, and ants.

Pros: Amazing (unbeatable) views from the room and swimming pool. A unique location 20-30 min drive from Phuket old town. Close to Rawai beach, but still far enough for all the masa of tourists. You feel you are in the jungle, and still close to civilisation. Very quite; you hear only birds, insects and there are lots of beautiful butterflies. Incredible beautiful and clean infinity swimming pool. Property’ s gardens and surroundings well kept: very neat and clean. There are several people working for that every day. The room is well cleaned every single day , you get fresh towels as well. Every 2-3 days new bed sheets. Not all stuff speaks well English, but some do. Nevertheless they all assisted us with all our needs. When something went wrong ( door couldn’t be locked, not good signal for TV channels, they fixed the problems in minutes). Very kind and helpful stuff, mostly Khun Tom. Such a nice person who speaks English well. ( Food and drinks manager). Also the reception man very kind and helpful)

Cons: You need a motorbike or car to reach there. But any taxi will do the trip for you as well. Room a bit outdated: many aunts some even in bed( but you are almost in the jungle- so it’s understandable- could be better isolated though). Internet quite poor. You need to stand close to the balcony window to get fully connected. At the lobby and restaurant good connection. Some cracks in the wall, mostly in the bathroom. Breakfast quite poor and the same every day ( unless the hotel have more than 15 guests- then they serve a very good buffet with quite of choices). For those with mobility problems a bit challenging as you need to go up the mountain to get to your room. But the stuff is very helpful and they always offer to bring you up with their little car from the reception. No airport transfer.

Cons: Tried to buy a jack Daniels and coke from the bar one day, the woman on the bar spoke no english at all she had to take photos of the bottle and send it to someone then ring them to figure out what i wanted it was very stressful and i was over charged, then when checking out after a 3 night stay i was hit with a bill for 220baht for water what they had put in our fridge this was ridiculous we have not been charged for water in any hotel ever. Apparently theres a spa there we never saw it.

Cons: all sort of small insects are there it feel like they invaded the place and in the night u can find it in the room.. staff don't speak english and it feels like whenever you ask for something it's a hard thing to do.

Cons: Although out of season, I thought the hotel looked quite run down/tired. It was clearly evident that the photos were not recent and maintenance had started, maybe we chose the wrong week! The WiFi costs were ridiculous for 2019 and the local taxi costs were significantly above average for the island. I just felt that although we had paid twice the typical Phuket cost for the seafront room, anything else incurred an above average cost and some items should have been included in the room rate.

Pros: The location in the thai forest and the staff kindness.

Cons: More thai fruits for breakfast

Pros: The property was in an amazing albeit out of the way location down a very long windy narrow road. It was set actually amongst a jungle ( snakes included ) right on the beach so it was very pretty , raw and natural with good comfortable facilities. I had an ocean view room and could literally throw a stone into the ocean so it was really a spectacular view. The room was modern and clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was one night of a four night stay when the power failed and I was struggling to sleep in 30 degrees at 2am in the morning but otherwise it was a beautiful.

Cons: I didn’t like the breakfast , I ate at the property only once and then ate out around the area every time time after. I found it to have a very small range and not very tasty or enjoyable at all. It was a mix of unusual rice and “curry” dishes or whatever they were meant to be with an odd rice concoction and some fruits. Eggs seemed to be something seperate and also an extra that had to be paid for ( despite having breakfast included in the rate ) which was disappointing and was not really catered for a western or European palate (not even sure it was Thai with the random potato wedges ) but it seemed clean although limited and confusing. For a good coffee , definitely leave the property and head just down the road to rock salt. The staff while friendly don’t seem eager to help lift bags either (disappear or are indisposed when needed) or have a buggy to transport your luggage so perhaps be prepared to walk your own bags from one end of the property (as I did ) when you arrive or leave.

Pros: Beautiful with private beach and pool. Quite and romantic bengalows in the forest. But really far from anything around....

Pros: The beach near by was wonderful and we also had a small private one at our villa. Fantastic. Breakfast was had some variations and was most enjoyable. We would love to come back here.

Pros: A bungalow was really comfortable, clean and very nice looking. Clean swimming pool and beautiful garden. The owner is a very helpful and the most kind person who we met in the Thailand. It is not so far from Beach :) Really worth to visit!

Pros: I really enjoyed my time at Sanuk bungalows. This is a small resort of 5 bungalows set in a mature tropical garden surrounding a surprisingly refreshing and deep pool which offers both shade and sun. I was really able to relax here. The bungalows are spacious with great terraces to sit out on and relax during the evening. I was worried about the location at first but once you are here you see it occupies an excellent position between both Nai Harn beach and Rawai beach and is situated on a road with many good restaurants, bars, laundry and massage. Armin's customer service is exceptional and he went out of his way to make my stay as comfortable as possible whilst also respecting my privacy. They rent motorbikes on site here and the roads are not busy like in Patong so driving around is very relaxed and not something to worry about. This really is a beautiful part of the world and if your looking for a quiet retreat surrounding beautiful beaches this is the place. As a solo traveller this place was a great find and what you cannot put a price on is the sincerity and honesty of the host. Thanks Armin and I hope to visit again someday.
