Raton motels

Pros: I always enjoy the old fashioned nature of this motel. Rm 26 had that great steam bath!

Cons: Breakfast was very bleak, I understsnd there were only 4 rooms occupied but normally all offerings are put out. Additionally, this is not the first time wifi was out. If the establishment wants to remain competitive it must recognize the essential element of connectivity. There is no phone signal this end of town, maybe next time I will have to stay closer to city center.

Pros: I liked best the kindness and respect of the owners. A truly midcentury motel,T&G wood Alpine ceiling, yet found crisp sheets,clean carpet and bath. Quaint sweet breakfast room

Cons: The parking lot lights remain on all night, so use a towel for makeshift. Relax, it's much CLEANER than the big names that have heavy drapes :) After the shock of seeing something so retro,it was quiet & great location to explore town.

Pros: good place for the cost soft bed reminder to watch for bears and what to do

Cons: can't complain due to the low cost good enough for my needs would stay again

Pros: I liked the pillows and shower. Having a tv and fridge was nice and the noise level outside was perfect.

Cons: There was cobwebs in the bathroom and small marks on the bed. Not that great lighting.

Pros: The price. We were traveling through the area and needed a place to rest for the night. The steam shower was intense.

Cons: There was a dead bee in the bathroom windowsill. The shower doors and tub could have been scrubbed a little better

Cons: The springs poking me in the bed.

Cons: The first room I was checked into was great except for the a/c not working and the tv couldn't be changed with the remote. I notified the front desk and was moved into another room. This room was not clean. It had separate bed which were both very uncomfortable. The a/c made so much noise we couldn't use it. The shower had no steam bathlike the other room. I feel I was completely downgraded because I complained about my first room. I will never stay here again. I will never again recommend this place to anyone either like I had before. The guy at the front was really rude when all this was brought to his attention.

Pros: Location was easy to find. Front office was friendly. Good value for the price

Cons: Definitely can use some upgrades. Particularly the sign out front.

Cons: Very run down, not clean, wifi was down, telephone out of order, no breakfast in the morning (I had to wake them to ask). Will never return.

Pros: It was very cheap for two beds.

Cons: It was dirty, mold in the bathroom, and dusty, hole in the wall, bathtub was clogged up, old coffee in the coffee pot for the last people that stayed there.

Pros: It was a large room with a separate dressing area and bathroom facilities. I really loved it and will definitely stay again. The parking lot was well lit and very quiet. The shower had awesome water pressure. The best was so comfortable as well. Good TV and WIFI service. I would love to stay a couple of nights next time to explore the downtown area which is about 2 blocks away. Very reasonable prices with Microwave and Refrigerator too. My room had a seating area adjacent to the bed. The A/C was nice and worked well. The breakfast was mostly gluten but that was ok. I had their coffee which was good.

Cons: That I had so little time to stay there.
