A good location and good vibe to it.
The parkingplace is a bit unreachable, especially with some cars parked infront of the reception. But with a bit of patience we worked it out just fine.
It was good for the money We were not comfortable with the place.
Food was good bed was good
Parking situation wasn’t great if you didn’t get a park space you were walking up a big hill. Not good for people over 55 years of age and no one onsite to control big groups of people who were partying in the courtyard for noise control. Being in our late 50’s we were originally put on the top floor that had a loft which we didn’t book and we of course had to change rooms. we were then put on the 2nd floor. It was really hard carrying all our stuff up for a 3 night stay up 4 flights of stairs. A bottom floor would’ve been better and we didn’t get the self contained unit that we paid for.
Disgusting rooms, halls; loud people everywhere, just a total dump of a place.
Breakfast was ok, reasonable system given catering for 250 backpackers each day. Location central with great views, at the top of a really steep hill. Staff were very helpful. Bar offers happy hour & also closes early enough that residents are not disturbed
Criticisms are minor. A drying room and improved laundry facilities would be good. Some cooking facilities would be valuable. Staff need to be on from 7am . Some of fire doors slammed (or were propped open). Noises from rooms above were loud (even footsteps)
