A nice period building. Very friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. We enjoyed the 30 min walk back from our very good waterfront restaurant via the lovely period best streets in Portland. The taxi drive in didn’t show the good bits!
Staff was great and the place is immaculate--a wonderful older building and very nice room with everything we needed. Chocolate chip cookies, coffee and water available all afternoon and evening.
Technically it is in downtown, but we had to drive to everything we wanted to do; parking is a challenge and gets expensive...but then, Portland is expensive.
Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good.
The no elevator thing stinks. Also having to share a bathroom was a drag.
Bathroom outside room and no elevator (but I knew that from online info)
Pillows too big
