Excellent price/value ratio. Super friendly and helpful staff. Their cook "Jacques" is a fantastic cook - don't miss dinner at this place. My daughter loves their hostel pets (dog & cat).

It was my second stay @ Nothando the atmosphere was even super than last time. Tranquillity is awesome. ...I slept like a baby til the next morning.. Thank you for such hospitality

We had an awesome stay experience at Nothando Backpackers Lodge. The house is well located at main road and had very warm and cosy feeling. The room were clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The house also had shared kitchen where you can cook your own food. Lucia (our POC) was very friendly and helpful. From day 1 of booking till our checkout she helped us in every possible manner. She also made a good recommendations to us to visit nearby and gave us discount vouchers which were very helpful. Also she made an excellent recommendation to visit Robberg Nature reserve, which was one of the highlights of our trip. The owner Marina is a very welcoming and we had a great evening chatting with her and Lucia. Overall I’ll rate my stay experience 10/10 and would definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly staff. Nice and cosy atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. Our room and also the shared kitchen were very clean.
Wifi only with faint signal. Connection was often disconnected.

It has a very nice community feel to the place. The owners hung out with us and others for a nice Braii. The drinks were a good price and the location was extremely ideal. The share kitchen was also very nice to have.
I was not a fan of the the shared bathroom. But it wasn't a huge deal.
