My husband and I really enjoyed our stay during the Covid- 19 Pandemic. They took extra caution on being clean. With temperature checks and all.
We got robbed ! More than $15,000 were taken from inside our safe and the administration is trying to cover it up and waiting for us to leave and forget about it. Besides that, the a/c didn’t work for half the trip. Food was repetitive and the beach full of algae.
Breakfast was very good . The pool was ok but small . Most of the staff were friendly .
Treated bad by a waitress in restaurant if you dare ask for a coffee to go . Hot drinks at night are extra but you can order alcohol !!!!
I loved staying here and I would go back for sure! I highly recommend! Had the most amazing massage and the staff is really friendly!
This is a great place for your buck! I wished they had a more assorted food menu and cuisine options! Aside from a few overcooked dishes it was a good experience!
The room at the hotel was very clean and well kept. Also, the grounds that the hotel are set upon are utterly stunning. The walks between buildings are full of trees and lanterns lit up at night, the pool and restaurants have beautiful views and the pools are fantastic. The hotel is located in a gated community which is guarded by security at the entrance and exit. The majority of the surrounding buildings are also hotels or vacation rental homes. You are only a 10 min walk from the ferry to Cozumel and the rest of the attraction of PDC centre. There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and clubs there if you choose to check them out. The Italian restaurant on site had by far the best food and we ate there 3 nights in a row. There weren't long waiting times at the bars for drinks and the staff were more than happy to russle up all kinds of cocktails. They were also very attentive in the mornings and afternoons during meals. There is a coffee station and ice cream parlour set up between 4pm-6pm everyday and they make great coffee with liquor if you like. I'd recommend a Mayan coffee!! The hotel had amazing facilities. The gym was clean and comprehensive, the pools were large and one had a fun pool bar. They also did activities in the pools occasionally. There were 2 beach volleyball courts for customers to use and 2 ping pong tables. In the upstairs bar there was a foosball table and 2 pool tables all free of charge. We had rented a car and there was always a space for us not far from reception.
The drinks were a little weak but usually staff would make them stronger if asked otherwise you could always order another! Food at the buffet was a gamble, 50% of the time it was very appetizing. The Mexican restaurant on site wasn't all that much better. It felt like the food and drinks were really working on a budget which was a shame. Our room was at the back of the property and although the room size was lovely, there was noise on a couple of nights at 12am ish from a truck either making a delivery or clearing the rubbish that woke us up.
