Pros (+) Staff was very friendly and helpful..Food was good to great. Rooms were well appointed, and the grounds were well maintained.
Cons (-) Beach area is dogged by seaweed type plants. They try to clean it up every morning but they can't keep up with it. Didn't ruin our time here. Most of our time was spent at the Party Pool.

Pros (+) This resort is the perfect place for anybody looking for a premium relaxing experience. The premium experience started with a personalized check-in process with a glass of sparkling wine and a personal concierge; my nephew and I booked this trip using a popular website for booking hotels that gave us this upgraded check-in experience. We arrived earlier than check-in time but that wasn't a problem...
Cons (-) The only caveat is the beach. If you are looking for a place where to experience the beauty of the Riviera Maya beaches, this is not the place. The location is not the best; you cannot swim in the beach and it doesn't have that turquoise color in the water that one expects from Playa del Carmen, but that's not the resort's fault, it's just the location. Other than that this is a great resort!
