We got married here; just the two of us in the morning and it was absolutely perfect and romantic.
It was clean and comfortable.
Our experience was very disappointing. I contacted the owner a week ago and outlined our experience and gave him a chance to respond before I posted this review and he has yet to respond. There was no staff there from the time we arrived around noon on Friday until Saturday morning at 7:30am. The room we were supposed to have was taken by someone who arrived before us. There was a card to indicate breakfast time and directed us to enjoy refreshments in the Library. There were no refreshments. It was not a typical bed and breakfast experience nor anything like the reviews. Since the weather report wasn’t looking good and no preparations were being made for breakfast, we decided to leave. That’s when the event coordinator showed up, who was filling in for the regular person(?) because they were at Seven Springs. I’m not only disappointed because it was part of a delayed 30th wedding anniversary celebration, but also because the owner didn’t even have the courtesy to respond to me.
very cozy. sweet decorations. great service. nice breakfasts; they accommodated my no dairy, pescatarian needs. parking pad available. also only 1 block from the main drag: E. Carson St.
Absence of elevator. Hard on my knees.
The breakfasts were awesome
Dining room was cold - internet service was spotty - no kleenex - no newspaper
Breakfast was amazing- waffles light and airy. Beds were super comfy. Great location and we loved having rooms to all hang out together. Super easy to get into house and rooms.
Library could use better/stronger coffee choices and have cream and sugar in the morning for early risers. The coffee served with breakfast was delicious. Rooms were a bit hot so we all had to open windows overnight.
