I was unhappy to find out that some people in my party were paying less for a double room than I was in a small single!
A wonderful and romantic place to stay
We stayed for 3 nights at the Atholl Palace. The grounds and the location were wonderful! A very romantic setting, with a lot of activities nearby! This stay was the highlight of our 2 week tour of Scotland, a must for those wanting to stay in a beautiful palace!
room allocation and setting and service
Room pleasant and clean but layout could have been easily improved so that a seating area could have been available, even in a small room. Amazing view from dining room. Food was reasonable, not exciting.
2 chairs for sitting in the room - one in a corner behind the bathroom door and behind a wardrobe. Shower only - very clean but poor water pressure. Public areas a bit tired and old fashioned.
Room slightly on the small dull side partly due to shape
restauant service and food was good. bath was a good size
lift not working. room couldn't have been smaller. bathroom shampoo and bath gel not replaced in three night stay.
breakfast! delicious scottish and continental breakfast available
our room was quite small so our crawling baby didn't have much floor space to exert her energy on
nice grounds, swimming pool and spa, breakfast
restricted hours for dinner/room service, poor TV access
Cosy warm room
Was little to basic for price
The hotel and grounds were very impressive. The check in process and staff were excellent.
The room was very basic, small and looked like it needed refurbishement. For the cost of Bed and Breakfast I was expecting a larger room and a larger bed.
