Pros: The breakfast was very good
Cons: The bed was VERY uncomfortable
6,3 Good
Pros: The young guy at the reception was AMAZING.
Cons: The room we had seemed more like a hostel than a hotel.. One angle of the hotel looks amazing then u look in the other direction and it looks abandoned. I understand it is 'work in progress' but at the price I paid I don't want work in progress. Breakfast was not that great. The orange marmalade needed a health warning.

Pros: This property is located in a beautiful neighborhood, on the side of a hill, with a beautiful view. Mariangela and her husband are wonderful people (Claudia too) and they go out of their way to make your stay a very pleasant one. if you don’t feel like going down to the beach just hang out at one of the two very well kept pools. We had a great time and we hope to come back some day!
Cons: Nothing not to like about this place
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room with Seaview is fantastic and very clean. Mariangela and husband are very friendly. Good service and the breakfast is nice. A place to come more often!!
Cons: Everything was fine
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing and quiet area. Staff members are all very kind. Private parking available for all guests. Pet-friendly environment. Two swimming pools (one for children/teens/parents and ball games). There is a small playground for the little kids and a little corner for dogs (if you have a big dog you can walk outside). Breakfast available (9€ each). If you have bikes you can leave them on the ground floor (unless you want to keep them on the terrasse or inside the flat). Our apartment was clean and comfortable and it had all the kitchen tools (microwave too). Reception is open in the morning until 12pm and from 4pm to 7pm/8pm (usually). It is not far from the highway (if you want to explore the surroundings) but far enough to avoid its noise. To go to the beach or to the town center you need to walk 10 min. Definitely recommended.

7,5 Good
Pros: Very clean, nice pools, nice balcony
Cons: Parkingspot was arranged, but still difficult. Parking in the village Pietra Ligure also difficult, long and intens walk for little children.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice apartment and friendy staff. Room with two nice balcony and lovely view. Mariangela is very helpfull and wellcoming
Cons: Place situated little far from the village, without car little complicated to reach. But there was the same taxi everyday who took us back to the hill. Only that he changed his price everyday, but that’s Italian style I know cos been living there... The room nice all the way exept the bed not very comfy.
7,5 Good
Pros: The sea view room and balcony
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and thoughtful people and it was very clean! The environment was also beautiful with the oleander flowers :)
7,1 Good
Pros: nice locality
Cons: no breakfast, kitchen is poorly equipped
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in an apartment with a lovely terrace which was great for eating breakfast in the morning. The two pools was great to be able to use and it was fairly easy to walk down to town. Maybe a bit far during the day but we had a car and could go shopping using that.
Cons: Maybe the price was a bit high for what it is but at the same time you get two nice pools and a lovely view.

Cons: Too much noice a.o. with barking dog near our room .Very small room and airco not always working .Hotel on hill about 20 min walking to city centre .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This a wonderful small to medium hotel. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Rooms air conditioned, towels changed daily, rooms cleaned daily. Very relaxed environment. It's a family hotel but although we were two adults only it was still great as it was mostly well behaved quiet Italian families. Staff excellent and friendly at all times. The whole feel of the hotel felt on a personal level. Location is fab. Lots of fab places all along the coast. Would recommend Cervo, Langiueglia and Noli. We drove to Turin for the day - 2hrs and over to France/Monte Carlo - 1hr 15 mins. Pietre Liguire has a train station to take you pretty much anywhere - good prices too but think book in advance. Food was lovely and plentiful. Buffet salad every meal then different choice of menu each night, all served by happy staff with plenty of seconds if wanted. Breakfast plentiful and good choice. With the exception of sightseeing in Rome it was my 1st holiday to Italy and have already booked for next year. Italy is stunning, very clean ( restaurant & public toilets etc) great food, great people. Cant recommend this hotel and Italy enough.
Cons: I cannot fault anything. It was my perfect holiday.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The experience of being in hotel was very calm and comfortable. The stuff was very helpful and caring, they helped us to solve all the little problems we had. The breakfast was always very homely, there were a wide choice of bakery products, meet and cheese. We were satisfied with the location, although it took approximately 7-10 minutes to get to the seashore, but the road is picturesque, it comes through lovely italian sections. Hotel Casella is a place were mostly italian and german families stand, in my opinion, they also seemed very joyful (as we were). We liked the view from the balcony very much (photo attached).
Cons: The breakfast was practically the same every day, but if you're going to stay a week or less it would be Ok, because of the wide choice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personell is nice.
Cons: The room eas very clean.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clearly an establishment catering for families on holiday. As such I was a bit of an odd one out, but was not made to feel like that. Friendly, good service, good facilities. Would go back there, even when on business.
Cons: “Not like” is too strong a description of it, but I was puzzled by the pre-arranged seating in the dining/breakfast room. As a business traveller passing through what is a hotel catering for holiday makers I must have upset the routine a bit, as I am used to simply choosing a table I like the look of!

Pros: The location is good - about 5 minutes walk to the beach, also there are some nice restaurants around
Cons: The personnel doesn't speak English; We booked a triple room with a balcony, but on our arrival there were no rooms with balcony available. Breakfast was somewhat ok, but quite modest. Very bad WiFi at the room The room was very small for 3 people
10,0 Excellent
Pros: - Clean room - very friendly staff - fair pricing - close to the beach
7,9 Good
Cons: Tiny shower
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel very close to the beach and also opposite a fantastic pizza restaurant;-) lovely to walk from the hotel along the promenade. The hotel owners were lovely and greeted us warmly. The room had a good sized balcony overlooking the surrounding street which was calm. The room was just what we needed and our two dogs were welcomed too. The breakfast room is on the top floor (accessible by lift) and has magnificent views up to the hills and over Finale Ligure. We would stay there again :-)
6,7 Good
Pros: The view from the breakfast room (top floor) The room size for 3 people: fairly ample and comfy. The cleanness. nothing to say regarding hygiene :-) Good coffee.
Cons: The owner spoke English, his wife didn't. When we were stuck in traffic Jam during 2 hours! We called to inform the hotel giving our family name, number of persons and the ETA (estimated time of arrival). The lady understood the half, it seems that she did not communicate to her husband, because he was very bad mooded upon our arrival around midnight. The room was capacious for 3 people, only problem: no water pressure in the showers, as well as no warm water from the start (you have to let water run for a long while, in order to get warm water) The room-doors need also some oiling, because they screetch whilst being opened or closed. Breakfast was ok, fair for normal basic needs and for money value. Good Coffee. Hot water for teas. Some dry bread and cold pastries, it showed the low season of this hotel. The view of the breakfast room compensate the medium quality of its table provisions. Again, coffee was very vrey good, and that's all we all 3 needed! Not a single word kind word with the proprietor, he was -I think- still angry at our late arrival. I tried to engage him into a kind conversation, and get some turist info, but he gave me some short cold answers. Hence I did not try more.

Pros: The location across from the beautiful beach was perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, wonderful tasty breakfast and dinner, high quality of food, cozy hotel, nice location, nice beach in front of hotel.
Cons: Quite small room, they have not Russian tv channel
5,8 Okay
Pros: This is not a 4 star hotel. Hotel is across the road from the beach but very noisy, felt like our bed was in the middle of the road. Rooms are outdated and must be made from paper thin walls. Every time neighbouring rooms were using their bathrooms you could hear all of the water pipes and water flushing. Hotel does offer free parking which is 5min walk up a hill. Breakfast is nice but again you are sitting in a breakfast room that must not have been renovated since the hotel opened in the 60s.

Pros: Clean, big balcony, lifts and easy access. The kitchen is well equipped and the space is comfortable. There is free parking on the street, but you have to find a spot! Otherwise I would stay again it’s a great little place. The reception was friendly and speaks really good English.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has kept the charm of the years past by since its creation and the calm comfort of a style long gone. This is exactly why we chose Colibri and we were more than happily surprised. The hotel staff was so very welcoming and reactive and the breakfast was simply marvelous. All of that combined with an atmosphere of pure calm and security made our stay a comfortable and truly positive experience.
Cons: We would have loved visiting the therasse shown on the pictures and maybe have had breakfast at this lovely rooftop. With our next visit we would love to.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location only
Cons: Everything beds where like camp beds, bathroom terrible, sink behind door,tv smaller than my laptop fridge very noisy.breakfast 5/10
9,6 Excellent
Pros: very cozy, friendly and nice hotel, clean, climate, good breakfast, friendly service
Cons: parking situation
4,6 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok, coffee horrible
Cons: Really old hotel, situated in the middle of Finale. Close to a supermarket.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff was really nice and the check-in did not take much time, which is always appreciated. The location was perfect. Really close to the main streets, the beach and less than 15 minutes walking from the train station. We were attending an event in the Fortress of Castelfranco and the hotel was just across the road.
Cons: We spent just a night in this hotel but honestly it does not worth 120€ a night. The condition of the room was very poor. Old furnitures and bad lighting. Fridge/Mini bar not working, so drinks were warm. Bathroom is really small and the shower size was ridiculously tiny. Bathroom amenities not so great. The worst: no A/C in the room. I stayed in August and italian summers can be really hot, I couldn't believe that there was no air conditioning in the room, in a Hotel on the sea side of Italy (temperatures went up to 40 degrees that day). The room was provided with a fan, but it seemed they never cleaned that fan (pic attached). We didn't have time to complain as we were attending an event and it kept us busy all day until late. I am not the kind of complainer, but seriously, after paying 120€ for the night, I did expect a bit more. I feel that I was overcharged.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The location was good, it was clean
Cons: The staff were very unhelpful. The room was very noisy due to the road, the beds were very solid and uncomfortable, breakfast was poor. We chose to buy our own breakfast after the first day. The coffee was undrinkable.
Park Hotel Castello - Finale Ligure - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
Park Hotel Castello is located 400 metres from the sandy beach in Finale Ligure. The property has a sun terrace with swimming pool and offers free private on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access throughout. With ancient-style interiors, all rooms are air conditioned and have a safety deposit box. The private bathroom has a bath or shower and hairdryer. Guests can enjoy a sweet buffet breakfast every morning. Park Hotel Castello is 5 minutes’ drive from the Finale Ligure exit of the A10 motorway. The city of Loano is 10 km away.
7,1 Good
Pros: The personnel was very kind and attentive. The parking is very convenient. The hotel is located right behind the castle, not far (10 min walk) from the city center and the beaches (but you have to climb the hill on your way back). The breakfast was good. Finale Ligure is lovely.
Cons: I find the vote of 8.7 a bit misleading, too high for this facility given the price (you can stay at a Grand Hotel for the same amount of money). This one is not really a hotel, it consists of two apartment buildings, probably dating back from the 70-s or the 80-s, which were turned into a hotel. The rooms are quite basic and small. The pool (btw very small and not perfectly clean) actually belongs to a beautiful villa located across the road. The guests of the hotel can access the pool area through a small door, but it feels a bit strange. The small garden in front of the reception is turned into a parking place (the whole hotel is actually facing a parking - convenient, but not very nice). Unlike one could imagine looking at the pictures (like I did), there is no view from the common areas (with the only exception of the pool). Our room had a terrace (facing a wall), which was not well equipped and not perfectly clean. Overall it's an OK option, but basic, definitely nothing fancy
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome and private parking on site great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The towels were hard and worn
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a good location with lovely views from the hotel and pool area. Lots of choice at breakfast. The ancient town of Finalborgo, 25 minute walk up the valley, was fabulous with lots of good places to eat. The beach was very clean and great to swim from with lots of beach side cafe's. Finale Ligure is a busy little working town.
Cons: The position at the top of a steep hill could be a challenge for some. Hot food at breakfast was not hot the room was OK but the shower was a bit small and could do with replacing. Having said that we would return.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The all staff is fine and quite friendly. Nice view from the castle on the city and sea. Not far from the beach, good restaurants close to hotel. Also the breakfast is perfect with good coffee. Big parking for cars.
Cons: The pool is small and area with sunbeds has only 3 umbrellas. Some of the rooms have very small shower place and it is not comfortable.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good - close to center and beach but not in the middle of loud and crowd. The view from pool is stunning, and the pool area is very nice and home-like. The hotel is convenient, looks more like apartments with common area and backyard. Personal is very friendly. The room was clean and fresh, with mirrors and small details to make it comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is very good, with fresh fruit, natural coffee, fresh baked croissants, small minus - no vegetables. You need to go by stairs to beach so it’s not perfect for kids and elder people. But okay in general.
Cons: My room was at ground floor and just next to road, so it wasn’t possible to open window as it was loud from road, the kitchen was very close so in the morning I heard all the voices and sounds. But if you only sleep at room like me - it’s not a huge issue.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel run by a young family. Location is good for a quick walk to the beach front (10 mins) or town (5 mins). It is a little noisy in the day if as there is a very busy road outside but in Finale you will not be sat in your hotel room. Air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast was well stocked with a very good variety on offer. Room cleaned well every day and everything was clean.
Cons: Was no hot water for a few of the days, it didn't bother me too much personally and I'm sure there was a genuine reason for the problem.
6,7 Good
Pros: Beds, staff
Cons: Rooms small, spa, sauna all out of Denton
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Ample and secure bike storage, bike wash, solid breakfast and great location with easy access to town. We were not able to hear the train despite how close it is to the train station. The proprietors were very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location - the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach and city centre. The staff was very kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. Will definitely come back.

Cons: The hot tub was a bit exposed to onlookers and smelt a bit stale. Our room had the smallest shower in the world.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Superb location, very friendly staff, great view from some of the rooms.
Cons: Mattresses were too hard and therefore not that comfy.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is unbeatable. The staff was very kind, specially the woman responsible for making coffee, cappuccino (exceptional) and so on. The rooms were recently refurbished and very nice, with very comfortable beds.
Cons: The temperature in the bathroom could have been higher, it was a little cold sometimes. Some windows profile in the bathroom were not clean (to be precise were a little bit rusty) but that was a minor problem because you are not supposed to touch them. Simply put it wasn't nice to see them dirty.

Pros: Very clean, nice pools, nice balcony
Cons: Parkingspot was arranged, but still difficult. Parking in the village Pietra Ligure also difficult, long and intens walk for little children.

7,1 Good
Pros: nice locality
Cons: no breakfast, kitchen is poorly equipped
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in an apartment with a lovely terrace which was great for eating breakfast in the morning. The two pools was great to be able to use and it was fairly easy to walk down to town. Maybe a bit far during the day but we had a car and could go shopping using that.
Cons: Maybe the price was a bit high for what it is but at the same time you get two nice pools and a lovely view.
