Everything. The room was comfortable, great outlook. Couldn't really fault.
I would have liked at least one more chair in the room. 2 people and one chair, 3 beds doesn't add up.
The room was clean, the shower water pressure was great.
At check in the man at the front desk made a joke about my surname, I did not find it funny. I'd travelled for 10 hours, and my welcome was a joke about my name. Someone staying in the hotel was smoking outside in the common area, and their smoke wafted into my room on the third floor. The double bed was two singles attached and so was uncomfortable, with s groove up the middle. The bed was too firm. Housekeeping was great for the first few days, then the last two nights of my stay I got no room service, so had rubbish piling up, damp towels, and no shower gel. Informing reception I received a poor recovery response and no outcome. Instead reception explained the difference between the 'do not disturb' sign and the 'please make my room' sign, which I found condescending, as though I did not know the difference, and I was to blame for no room service. I only used the do not disturb sign whilst showering. I had actually passed by the room attendant on my second last day, who was attending to nearby rooms. I smiled at them saying hello kindly, they responded with disinterest, no words, and a serious look towards me (the two attendants at the start of my stay were friendly and efficient). Inconsistent service, such a shame. Part of the enjoyment of staying at a hotel for a holiday is having your room made fresh. What made this worse was the unfortunate poor response from reception blaming me, and not finding a simple solution to the issue.
Location was perfect for our needs.
Not enough coffee, had to go to reception to ask for more. X1 sachet per person is not enough. Needs a fan in shower/toilet too cold to leave window open. Heater not attached to wall properly.
Handy location if one needs to catch an early morning ferry. Smooth, efficient check-in and check-out. Helpful staff.
Spacious room with comfortable bed. I had a superior room with balcony overlooking the sound. Location is right in the centre of town so easy to walk around. Absolutely the best value for money.
Reception staff often absent working in other parts of the hotel. Sometimes a bit noisy with large foreign tour groups checking out early morning or late night for the ferry
