Piano di Sorrento bed & breakfasts

Pros: Tasty breakfast and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely public balcony with a mountain view.

Cons: The bed could be more comfortable. We found a teapot in the room but no cups or glasses.

Pros: Great breakfast. Easy access to trains and buses to Sorrento, pompei and naples. Hosts were informative and charming. Reasonable cost. Gorgeous 18th century villa situated in a huge garden full of trees and plants. A large room. Really enjoyed our stay. Quieter than Sorrento. Thank you.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and breakfast good. it was very close to the train station. The staff and owner were most helpful and friendly. Room very clean.

Cons: The train service ended at 9.55pm and taxi service after that was very expensive

Pros: The location was great. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the Piano di Sorrento train station and it only takes about 3-5 minutes on the train to get into Sorrento. It is also an easy 10 minute walk to the coast and the beach area of Piano di Sorrento. There were nice restaurants in the area around the hotel. The hotel was in a beautiful building and the hosts were super friendly and helpful.

Cons: The entrance to the hotel is in a small alley and is only able to be accessed by foot or scooter. The hotel is not easily accessible to people with mobility troubles (in wheelchairs, trouble walking, etc.) as you can only access it by two flights of stairs (the hotel states this on the site). Neither of these is a problem, but they are both issues that people should take into account based on the needs of the people in their groups.

Pros: The location was fantastic , staff was so friendly and this 200 years old building was really beatiful !

Pros: Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great, and staff were lovely and very helpful.

Pros: A little away from sorrento town but easy to travel by train as station only 5 mins walk away. Property was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb. A little hard to find as street numbers a little confusing. Keep walking on their lane and you will see their sign overhanging their doorway.

Cons: Let me begin by saying this room is very different than advertised. 1. There are no locks on the room guests stay in, which made me feel unsafe as all of my personal and valuable belongings were accessible for everyone who lived in the house. Additionally, when they clean your room they will move and touch all your personal belongings which I didn’t appreciate. 2. The bed is very uncomfortable. It is two single beds squished together. The room is cold at night and the sheets are very thin so do not provide any warmth. When I asked for a blanket i was not given one. 3. There are roosters close to the home which will wake you up at 5am, even when all windows are closed 4. It’s a 35 minute walk to sorrento and the house is not central at all. 5. Titty is very nice and speaks some English but we only saw her for about 10 minutes of our visit. Margherita, her sister, is very rude. For that reason alone I would not suggest to stay here. While the breakfast was nice and titty and her family were welcoming, guests deal primarily with Margherita who is rude. For that reason and many others listed above, I would not stay there again nor would recommend others to stay there.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay .Very lovely family , It felt like home we were in our baby-moon and we enjoyed our stay. They guided us how to reach to the location and Mr Michele picked us and dropped us also to station. Very lovely family

Pros: Very clean and friendly hosts, good breakfast and with in walking distance to train stations.

Cons: Possible kettle facilities in room, more pillows.

Pros: Extremely friendly hosts. Totally authentic Italian experience. Everything was immaculate. Only 3k from central Sorrento and an easy 5min bus ride. Michael was so kind in taxi'ing my daughter and me to places. They don't speak any English, but with Spanish and Google translate it was not a problem. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Very good service of the people from the house. They were very kind with us and they were there at any moment to help us, though they didn't speak English very much. Good Italian breakfast served in the garden. The location is far from Sorrento and getting there is not easy, specially at night, but we knew this beforehand.

Pros: The family received us very well, they where extremely nice, we had to leave early every morning and they made us a bag with Brioche and juice to go every morning. The room was big , comfortable and very clean

Cons: The location was not ideal to walk to Sorrento, but you have lots of buses.

Pros: Very hospitable. Husband, wife and daughter team are really good to welcome us. Breakfast with fresh coffee and pastry set us in really good start for the day.

Cons: The host spoke limited English but they tried hard to understand us.

Pros: The property is administrated for a family and, they treat us as part of it. We arrived in the Piano train station, we called them to know how could we go from the station to there (we asked if it is near), they informed us that is near, but as we were with lugagge they took us at train station and after the check out they leave us at the train station again. The breakfast is really good, the room is clean and the attention of the administrators regarding to our necessities was wonderfull.
