The hotel is located on the same street as the prime minister so you’ve to pass a barrier before getting onto the street. This made us feel super safe while staying in Phnom Penh as we knew the street was watched over and the surrounding area was nice and quiet too. The hotel itself was lovely, with a garden surrounding it and a nice pool and beds with outdoor mattresses around it.
The room was very small.
Loved staying in the quiet greenery of Jungloo, it’s a great little escape, and the gardens of the hotel are a very welcome respite from the heat . Also liked the fish amok and the Mekong dry gin at the poolside bar!
Housekeeping is inconsistent and it can be a challenge communicating with staff other than at the front desk. But it’s a minor comment and would stay here again.
Great location in the old city centre. A few minutes from Royal Palace. Hotel benefits from a great garden with swimming pool.
Very quiet place for relax and long stay
The room that I stayed the facilities was quite old
Location was great. Read comments on how some folks felt the closed off road was an issue with children.... it was perfect made the hotel quieter. Pool was good. Rooms fair in size and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of places close by for food and drinks as well as easy access to taxis or Tuk Tuks to S21 and Killing fields. Staff were accommodating when we arrived before allocated check in and cleaned room as priority when guests left at noon.
Comments around being a bit tired and past its heyday were noted and I agree. Hotel was good but not Wonderful as I had expected it to be. Not having breakfast included was also disappointing and at $6 per person made it pretty expensive.
