Cons: We were told room was clean and checked in, only to find the bed made and everything was disgusting. Dirty bathroom, not vacuumed or mopped, items left in room by previous quests. Not a good way to start Peach Fest

Pros: The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The Beds were extremely comfortable and the area was very quiet at the time we were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information for what ever you wanted.
Cons: The water took a long time to warm up when you turned the tap on to have a shower or wash.

Pros: Beds were uncomfortable and we had reservations for the New Years Party, but they didn't have enough tables to seat our party of six. No where did our reservation say you could reserve tables and it had to be a party of 8 or more. When we asked for a refund, we were told first come, first served. No refunds. Will probably not book again. 5$ a day for parking, including handicapped. Seriously?

Pros: Stayed in a room with jetted tub and rain shower. Very clean, lots of space, and we were shocked at how comfortable the bed was... all for a great price! We will definitely stay here again.

Pros: They have BBQ's you can use for free! I wish it was on their website or under "amenities" as it would have been great to know in advance! Right across from the beach and some firepits that are communal use. It's also right near the downtown street (about 10 minutes walk) and go eat breakfast at The Bench! (15 min walk). Delicious food and well worth the trek! The last staff member we talked to on check-out was great!
Cons: Can only get the front desk between 8-10. Being early risers about 7am we were looking for the wifi password. Apparently there is a router in every room which no one told us on check in. I went and asked one of the staff about a good place to eat dinner and was recommended "Denny's". Even when I said we weren't a fan didn't offer any alternatives. I'm not a fan of visiting a new place and hitting up chain restaurants. Have some local cuisine suggestions! Support your community! Salty's is a PHENOMENAL beach-front seafood (primarily) restaurant just a few properties down. We were later told by a local some other good restaurants: Saigon's is good Chinese, La Casa Ouzeria is great Greek and the Pasta Factory.

Pros: Close to the lake
Cons: Disappointing experience. The room was disturbingly unclean (with urine on the bathroom floor and unwashed towels), the lights didn't work, and I could hear all of my neighbors' moves through the thin walls. I would not recommend this dumpster even to a homeless person.

Pros: It was located near where we needed to be for the weekend. The area was fairly quiet. There was a Tim's across the street which was a major bonus!
Cons: The pillows were huge and rather uncomfortable.

Pros: The location was highly convenient to everything; across the street from the great beach on Lake Okanagan as well as near shops, restaurants and great kids' activities. Also, relative to Penticton beachfront summer prices our one bedroom suite with full kitchen facilities was a good value for the money. Moreover, Paul, a staff member, was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful as he seemingly ran all over the property in an effort to do everything for everyone and oversee staff.
Cons: Having worked extensively in the hospitality industry myself when younger, I tend to be empathetic but - unfortunately - the woman who checked us in was the polar opposite of Paul in terms of being rude, acerbic and condescending. It started when I was confused about the credit card intake machine as I am American and not used to the chip system now apparently standard with Canadian credit cards. Accordingly, I was reprimanded for withdrawing my card too soon. I think she had had a rough day, but that is not an excuse. Paul stepped forward and seemingly tried to offset the unpleasantness. Also, the bed was a roller bed and not very comfortable and, while the suite did have AC, it was inadequate relative to the space of the unit as the cool air did not reach the bedroom. The first two days were much warmer than average but still. Overall, I will rate this a 3 star due to the relatively solid value that $80 U.S. a night represents for the time of year and location - otherwise it would be a 2.

Pros: Location is great ,within walking distance to most venues. Right across from the beach. Nice and quiet,clean and comfortable. We definitely would stay again and recommend this property.

Pros: In a Nutshell: Location, pet-friendly, coffee, kitchenette, friendly and courteous, food, facilities (in normal times they have excellent conference/event facilities and hot-tubs). The location is perfect. Short walking distance to the river channel, Okanagan Lake west beaches. Direct drive to east end and dog beach. It is easy to access yet just enough off of the main road to have minimal traffic. Denny's and a pub on-site. Indoor pool and picnic area (hot tubs closed right now due to COVID-19 restrictions). There is a real coffeemaker in in the room that works with #2 filters so you can have your own favorite brand of fresh coffee every morning without the restrictions of 2-year-old K-cups found in many hotels. Great, free WIFI and REAL office chairs at the desk. We were disappointed that our room didn't have a nook as shown in the pictures, but they brought us a second chair. The moderately large modern TV has HDMI inputs so you can watch HD video from your laptop / phone / tablet if you have the right cables.
Cons: This is not a "5-star hotel". It is a bit aged, but pretty well maintained and for the Penticton area it is great. The broadcast TV is not HD (but that is a complaint at so many hotels and cruise ships that I have lost count). It is Penticton, so on a long weekend expect occasional rude people who think it's ok to party in their room or the hallway.
